Fundraising Officer

We are delighted to be working in partnership with SAT-7 UK, part of an international Christian media ministry bringing life-changing joy to millions of people across the Middle East and North Africa through powerful, faith-filled television and digital media programmes.

SAT-7 broadcasts across four channels, reaching millions of viewers in 25 countries, 365 days a year. Their programmes encourage and strengthen often-isolated Christians in their faith and provide a fresh perspective for those asking questions about Jesus. After 30 years of faithful ministry, SAT-7 UK is now focused on reaching a new generation to increase the impact of their international ministry across the region.

We are seeking a well-organised and personable Fundraising Officer with excellent communication skills to develop supporter relationships through phone and written communications. You'll help increase the impact of appeals, the welcome journey, regular giving programmes, and general fundraising projects. Working closely with the Fundraising and Impact Manager, you'll steward high-level donors, complete monthly Joy Bringer campaign calls, deliver direct marketing campaigns, and maintain accurate supporter records.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Computer literacy e.g. MS Office 365, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Confidence speaking directly to supporters by telephone/face to face and reflecting personal Christian beliefs
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and work to deadlines

Race Against Dementia is a global charity founded by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE to find preventions, treatments and cures for dementia – faster.

We fund and support pioneering early-career scientists around the world, giving them the tools, mentoring and Formula 1-inspired mindset to accelerate breakthroughs. From the UK to the USA, Australia to South Africa, our researchers are rethinking how dementia research is done – applying data science, AI and engineering to neuroscience in bold, collaborative ways.

This role sits within Race Against Dementia’s small, dynamic Fundraising and Marketing team, which raises income in the UK from individuals, major donors, trusts and foundations, and community fundraisers. The team works closely together to build awareness, inspire support, and deliver exceptional experiences for our donors and supporters.

Purpose of the Role

The Fundraising Officer plays a key role in delivering Race Against Dementia’s fundraising and marketing activity, helping to grow income and strengthen supporter relationships. The role combines operational excellence with creativity: managing systems, data and platforms to ensure effective delivery, while producing engaging content and stories that inspire action.

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing and Communications

• Manage incoming communications to the fundraising team, ensuring timely, professional responses
• Maintain the CRM with up to date and accurate supporter information, and act as organisational lead on CRM best practice and management
• Set up dashboards and reporting systems in the CRM to monitor donor behaviours and patterns Provide regular updates and reports to the fundraising team on supporter behaviours, channel performance, trends etc. to inform strategy

Fundraiser communications and events

• Act as first point of contact for individuals and organisations fundraising for the charity
• Record and track all fundraising events and activities, implementing communication plans to welcome, support, and thank participants
• Work with the Public Fundraising and Marketing Lead to build digital and automated onboarding and stewardship journeys for community fundraisers
• Oversee the delivery of excellent stewardship for community fundraisers through responsive support, proactive communication and effective use of automated journeys to enhance their experience and results
• Build strategies to maximise fundraiser income, including targets, incentives etc.
• Lead on the planning and execution of fundraising engagement events, optimising the on-site experience and income generation potential.
• Support and coordinate fundraising volunteers for key engagement events, building a stewardship programme across the year

Fundraising Operations

• Manage our major fundraising platforms (e.g. Just Giving) to ensure data accuracy and compliance
• Support the management of our legacy and in memory donations, delivering thoughtful and sensitive  supporter communications
• Work with the Finance Manager on monthly direct debits and income reconciliation.
• Undertake research to identify new supporter, donor, trust/foundation and HNW prospects aligned with our mission

Logistics and Administration

• Maintain records of fundraising materials and merchandise, reordering stock as needed.
• Oversee the relationship with the fulfilment house to ensure smooth delivery of goods and supporter packs
• Track and manage auction items and raffle prizes, monitoring usage and income
• Support the delivery of key Race Against Dementia events, providing logistical support and ensuring excellent supporter experiences
• Maintain team calendars, campaign planners, and shared resources to support smooth team operations

Salary: £27,500 per year, pro rata (£11,000 actual salary). 

Hours: Part time, fixed term 12 month contract, 14 hours per week (0.4 FTE)

Work pattern: Flexible, between Monday-Friday

About Pregnant Then Screwed (PTS) 

Pregnant Then Screwed (PTS) is the leading charity working to end the motherhood penalty. The Role

Pregnant Then Screwed’s Tribunal Mentor Programme is a peer-to-peer support service for women and parents taking legal action against an employer for pregnancy and maternity discrimination. We match mentees with volunteer mentors who have been through the Employment Tribunal process themselves for 12 weeks of support through weekly calls. We relaunched the programme in October 2025, and now, with funding from The National Lottery, we are looking for a part time Support Services Coordinator to help us grow and maintain new mentoring matches. 

As the Support Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting and inducting mentees and volunteers onto the programme and supporting matches throughout their journey. You’ll also drive engagement with the programme, and develop recruitment strategies for potential volunteers and mentees. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the Tribunal Mentor Programme and volunteers. 

• Welcoming new mentee and mentor applicants to the programme through 121 and group calls. 

• Recruitment and engagement of new volunteers and participants. 

• Monitoring our Community WhatsApp groups and responding to enquiries.

• Hosting regularly mentor and mentee online check-ins.

• Researching further support and signposting options for mentees.

• General administrative tasks, including managing volunteer and mentoring data, supporting the Head of Support Services with reporting data and responding to general enquiries. 

• Supporting our Head of Support Services with volunteer training, policy and process development. 

• Supporting other Support Services projects where necessary.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Volunteer engagement - demonstrated through experience managing or coordinating volunteers.

• Engaging written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated through a proven ability to craft engaging newsletters, social posts or discussion prompts.

What We Offer 

• Flexible working is embedded in our culture with employees working different hours, and days of the week. 

• 34 days annual leave, including statutory bank holidays. This is pro-rata for part-time staff. 

• Paid leave between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Key responsibilities

Events

· Oversee, coordinate and deliver our calendar of fundraising events including logistics and administration.

· Help organise our annual Appeal Dinner, the Trust’s flagship fundraising event, overseeing all administration, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and oversee adverts in Appeal Dinner brochure.

· Liaise with companies to arrange corporate events with Holocaust survivor speakers and develop relationships with existing and new companies to increase income in this area.

Since 2013, FarmAbility has been supporting learning disabled and autistic adults in Oxfordshire, running an outdoor day service for co-farmers (our participants), across multiple sessions each week throughout the calendar year on various farm and garden sites. Currently we work with over 65 people each week. When our co-farmers come to us they get involved in a wide range of purposeful, real-life farm and nature-based tasks. Co farmers also have the opportunity to socialise with others and form friendships. There are always new people to meet and lots of opportunities to interact with others from all sorts of backgrounds at a FarmAbility day.

Role description:

This role will support FarmAbility in developing our fundraising capacity. Currently, the majority of this work is carried out by the CEO and we are looking for an experienced fundraiser to support with the creation and delivery of a fundraising strategy, and with the practical work of submitting grant applications and stewarding current and potential new donors. Together with the CEO the Fundraising Officer will develop a comprehensive Fundraising Strategy for the charity incorporating major donors, trust & foundations, corporate support and community fundraising. The postholder will be engaged with our mission and eloquent in their expression of our work and its impact to external audiences. Financial and Administrative:

Overview

The Campaigns and Alumni Relations Office (CAR) at the University of Sheffield is dedicated to inspiring alumni (former students) and supporters to make philanthropic gifts, as well as giving their time and expertise. A donation to the University of Sheffield can change lives, from supporting students in financial need to furthering world-leading research.

As part of the Individual Giving team in CAR, this role encourages people to make gifts of up to £10,000 using a data-driven approach and a range of communication and fundraising channels. The Fundraising Officer will also coordinate our community fundraising and in-memory programme to typically raise over £150,000 per year, as well as project managing direct mail, digital appeals and stewardship communications.

Acting as an advocate for philanthropy, you’ll support and motivate volunteer fundraisers and play a significant role in delivering the University’s flagship fundraising event, the Big Walk. You’ll also support the team to deliver fundraising and donor impact communications using a range of channels (email, print, web and video). On an ad-hoc basis you’ll manage our team of scholarship ambassadors to help engage donors, this may include coordinating small telephone fundraising sessions.

Main duties and responsibilities

● Plan and deliver key fundraising projects using a range of channels (email, direct mail, events) to make direct asks for support through gifts and community fundraising.

● Manage relationships with corporate partners capable of sponsoring or participating in our fundraising activities, such as the Big Walk.

● Work with the team of scholarship ambassadors (students who have benefitted from donations) to gather and create content that tells their stories and demonstrates impact to donors.

● Oversee the day-to-day operations of ad-hoc telephone fundraising sessions. Including training and motivating the students, enabling them to make direct asks.

● Coordinate the fundraising team’s shared inbox and phone line, including delegating to other members of the team. Act as a key point of contact for donor and fundraiser enquiries, ensuring each supporter receives the highest level of customer service and

● Ensure that accurate records are maintained on the CRM database, Raiser's Edge and use JustGiving to optimise fundraising. Work with large datasets to personalise appeals and communication approaches, working to a data processing brief.

● Ensure fundraising activity fulfils its regulatory and statutory obligations (GDPR and Fundraising Regulator Code of Conduct) and its obligations for the health and safety of fundraisers and event participants.

● Carry out other duties, commensurate with the grade and remit of the post.

Gifts in wills fund nearly half of the MS Society’s work - and we need a senior legacy officer to help deliver our ambitious plans to grow this vital income stream. In this key role, you’ll lead the delivery of legacy marketing campaigns across digital, direct mail and other channels, create compelling content to inspire gifts in wills, and take charge of in-person events to engage supporters and pledgers. You’ll also manage relationships with external partners and suppliers, ensuring every activity reflects professionalism and empathy.

We’re looking for a creative individual who is passionate about wildlife, community engagement and delivering high-quality visitor experiences. You’ll need to have experience of designing and delivering outdoor public events, strong volunteer management skills, and the ability to build great relationships with new and existing partners and suppliers. You will also need a solid understanding of health and safety and data protection, the digital skills necessary to create compelling social media content and manage online booking systems, and the ability to present technical information in engaging ways to bring our conservation work to life for our different audiences. Job Purpose

The Head of Marketing is a member of the Senior Management Team and plays a key role in the development and delivery of the company’s marketing, audience engagement and communication strategies. Possability People is a pan-impairment disability charity based in Brighton. We work with people with a number of health conditions, including mental health and neurodivergent conditions, as well as with older people.

We are looking for a Senior Events Fundraising Officer to join a wonderful team to lead on a portfolio of fundraising events, with specific responsibility for new event development, and offering exceptional levels of supporter care.

This is a hybrid role with one - two days a week in the London officer.

Events
