About the Role

As our Fundraising Officer, you will:

Role Purpose

The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. Harris Hill is looking for a Senior Social Media Officer for 3 months, with possible temp to perm appointment for a London based charity.

The ideal candidate would be someone with a strong understanding of British politics and experience of working on a social media role in a political or campaign environment. You would need to be supportive of the charity’s campaign which focuses on a delicate issue. You would need to be the sort of person who is resilient and confident to get on with things but understands the importance of working within the brand’s style and tone of voice.

The client is working very intensely at the moment as the campaign reaches a critical stage. The role holder will need to be comfortable primarily working from the office in central London – it’s the kind of role where its best and learning will happen fastest when someone is with colleagues. So we’d be looking at the person being in the office 4 or 5 days a week. The salary would be equivalent to a £39k annual equivalent.

Your role 

You will be responsible for the management, development and delivery of marketing and communications to support CWNN’s fundraising strategy. You’ll work alongside our Development Manager to create compelling fundraising campaigns, content and communications, growing engagement from individuals, companies, community fundraisers and potential funders while simultaneously raising our profile among stakeholders through strategic communications and marketing plans. This work includes:   

• Support our Development Manager to create and deliver impactful and innovative fundraising strategies including our public appeals, challenge events and local fundraising campaigns.

Successful candidates will be invited to attend an in-person interview at our office in Brixton, London to take place on Fri 16th May 2025 and will include a 60-minute interview, a 15-minute administrative task, and a 30-minute informal chat with a team member.
