This role will be part of a core delivery team leading the charity through discovery and implementation of the system and work closely with the existing IT team.
Responsibilities of our CRM Technical Lead:
As our CRM Technical Lead you will be responsible for providing expertise on CRM software functionality, data management and IT business processes. You will ensure all assigned immediate development work, upgrades, and support requests are dealt with to agreed levels of service and customer satisfaction. Ultimately ensuring the non-functional requirements are delivered and supporting the delivery of functional requirements whilst supporting and assisting with other staff within the IT Applications team and across the IT department.
What we’re looking for in our CRM Technical Lead:
- Recent or current knowledge and experience (within last three years) in dynamics 365 implementation as a technical lead, CRM and fundraising - essential
- Experience in product ownership/leading CRM replacement projects or large process change - essential
- Proven experience in stakeholder management, dealing confidently and persuasively with stakeholders

About you
As our Marketing Executive (Loyalty) in our Loyalty Squad you will play an important role in driving brilliant supporter-centric marketing campaigns to raise crucial support for Save the Children UK. Working closely with Marketing Managers, you will contribute to the development and execution of effective retention and income growth activity. Your focus will be on fostering deep connections with our supporters, prompting action, and driving income by increasing both donor volume and value.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Marketing Managers to deliver compelling multi-channel campaigns that drive income and retention targets.
- Utilise various marketing channels, including Direct Mail, Email, Telemarketing and SME to create engaging communication journeys for donors.
- Take ownership of specific aspects of the supporter experience to enhance engagement and drive long-term value.
- Contribute to the creation and delivery of key marketing materials across multiple channels and propositions.
- Liaise with external suppliers to ensure smooth campaign delivery and optimise results while prioritising a positive supporter experience.

To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Previous experience in customer/supporter loyalty and retention marketing.
- Experience working on fundraising cash appeals or other income generating campaigns.
- Proficiency in delivering marketing initiatives across various channels, most notably Direct Mail, Email, Digital.
- Some experience with Telemarketing and SMS would be desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to grow existing supporter value through communication journeys, supporter experience enhancements, or donor care initiatives.
- Project management skills with a track record of supporting the delivery of complex projects on time and within budget.
- Experience collaborating with external partners, such as creative agencies, fulfilment houses, or telemarketing agencies.
- Familiarity with developing and delivering fundraising and marketing assets both online and offline, with knowledge of both data and print processes for direct marketing.
- Ability to utilise data and insights to inform marketing strategies, track results, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.

JOB PURPOSE
This role will support the planning and delivery of digital projects and campaigns that aim to raise awareness of the Start Network, build engagement across membership and support the Start team to work in effective ways. The postholder will create, edit and share digital content, manage online communities and will support the planning, development, maintenance and management of digital platforms.
The post-holder will produce and edit a wide range of digital content, including written content and digital media. The post-holder will also support the day-to-day engagement of stakeholders on digital platforms, such as social media, collaboration platforms and other engagement tools. The post-holder will have a good knowledge of best practise in digital while being able to use data to evidence the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
The post-holder will also manage or support new digital developments, such as data visualisation, that will increase stakeholder engagement in our work. Working closely with stakeholders and colleagues, the post holder will support projects to ensure they meet business and audience needs and that they are delivered on time and on budget.
This role will also coordinate third party suppliers in this process.
This role will be full time, based in the UK or another country of Start Network’s operations with occasional travel required.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
COMMUNITIES AND CONTENT

Coordinate the day-to-day communications of Start Network programmes on social media channels. Take part in planning and coordination of content for all social media channels, in line with digital engagement strategy.

Create and share multimedia content for social media and website (such as gifs, images and video) to build engagement with audiences around the world. Collaborate with Graphic Designer, Communications Officer and external agencies and freelancers in production of high quality content, in line with Start Network’s brand guidelines.

Manage day to day interaction with online communities (including social media, internal and member communities), track engagement, respond to enquiries and generate conversation.

Advise colleagues on how to use and manage social media and digital communities for greatest impact – Work with the Digital Manager and Communications Manager to deliver training for staff, introducing new platforms and digital tools to the team.

To assist with the marketing and promotion of Start Network’s content across the website, newsletters and social media channels and to contribute to Start Network’s marketing strategy as required.
DIGITAL PLATFORMS AND WEBSITE

Work together with the Digital Manager to manage the development of digital platforms, working with internal colleagues and external developers to identify and deliver a range of projects.

Maintain website content day-to-day, publishing news and blogs, resources, events and updating landing pages. Working with teams across the organisation on updating all pages regularly.

Make changes to the website based on data, audience, (UX) and expert research to improve accessibility, search engine optimisation (SEO) and the overall experience of our users.

Maintain the Start Network website day-to-day, identifying bugs, escalating internally and working with the developers to deliver solutions. Provide website, social media and newsletter activity reports and statistics and evaluate them in conjunction with the Communications Officer.

Maintain a Digital Asset Management system Canto; collating and storing photos and sourcing appropriate stock images.

Support the day-to-day delivery of digital projects fulfilling the organisations communications and digital objectives. These might include development of maps or other data visualisation tools and microsites.

About Us:
Thank you for your interest in our Country Manager role. ROLDA (Romanian League in Defence of Animals) is a small animal welfare charity working to improve the lives of dogs, cats, and other animals in Romania and internationally. Since its establishment in 2006, ROLDA has become a beacon of hope for the millions of vulnerable stray animals in Romania – one of Europe's economically poorest nations. Our mission is to manage the homeless animal population, estimated to be millions, through six key focuses: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, and education. Within our shelters, inspired by British kennel design and maintained to meet EU animal welfare standards, we can house up to 700 stray dogs at a time. Here, they receive complete veterinary care, rehabilitation, and preparation for rehoming. Since 2006, we have helped over 48,000 animals (primarily dogs and cats) and built two shelters for dogs and one for disabled and senior cats. We also distribute support, primarily through small grants, to six other charities in Romania and over 40 shelters in Ukraine. We rehome mainly in Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK. In addition to our efforts in rescuing and rehoming animals, ROLDA tackles the root cause of Romania's homeless animals through comprehensive neutering programmes and educational initiatives. Since 2006, we have successfully neutered nearly 20,000 cats and dogs, significantly impacting Romania's severe overpopulation of animals.
Job Overview:
As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and impact of ROLDA in the UK. This is a remote position (for now) that requires strategic thinking, people management skills, financial acumen, and a commitment to achieving our organisational objectives.

What can we offer you?
The salary band for this role is £35,000 - £39,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

About the role
