Who are we looking for?
You will be a determined and passionate individual who wants to make a real difference to critically injured patients in London. You will have experience in developing and delivering robust supporter engagement, acquisition and retention campaigns.
The purpose of the Senior Direct Marketing Officer’s role is to deliver and evolve the acquisition and retention strategy, inspiring the people of London to become long-term supporters of the Charity.
Working closely with the Senior Direct Marketing Manager, you will manage campaign activity, from briefing through to execution, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement within the programme, particularly with regards to retention and delivery of the supporter journey.
You will be responsible for multi-channel donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and cross-sell campaigns across digital channels, print, telephone and provide occasional support to our successful Face to Face programme. You will take ownership of the delivery of our supporter journey for our regular donors, cash, lottery and raffle players – with huge scope to make a big impact in this area.
The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. Although the post is based at Mansell Street, LAA offers a hybrid working arrangement.

The Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating FearFree’ Volunteers, including supervision and coaching of volunteers.
Volunteers are essential to FearFree services both support service roles and non-support service roles such as admin and fundraising. Volunteers will be within the following roles:
· Helpline Support: Responsible for logging referrals and triaging cases, ensuring initial safety advice is given and the service user is directed to the most appropriate service, as well as responding to professional enquiries.
· Facilitating and Co-facilitating Group Work Programmes: This will include facilitating peer support groups and being second facilitator for group work programmes providing support to victims/survivors of domestic abuse, those who have experienced sexual violence and group programmes for perpetrator groups supporting those who wish to change their behaviour.
· Befriending Services: offering support to individuals who have experienced domestic abuse or sexual violence and are still impacted by the trauma of their experiences, providing support and encouragement to enable service users to create independent and fulfilling lives.
· Admin support: Supporting with our admin support teams such as HR support, finance support, covering reception and other tasks as required.
The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Volunteer Manager, Head of Fundraising and other Volunteer Coordinators in other FearFree localities.
FearFree is committed to hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for meetings. Travel across Devon is required and occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
Recruitment and training of volunteers
· Participating in the recruitment of volunteers in both service user facing roles and support roles. This will include advertising for roles, interviewing perspective volunteers and supporting with HR processes.
· Planning and delivering thorough training for all volunteers, dependent on the role they will be completing.
· Ensuring each volunteer continues to develop in their role.
· Liaise with Service Managers and Team Managers to identify roles where volunteers could be utilised.
Service delivery and management of volunteers
· Providing line management support and supervision to volunteers.
· Be point of contact for volunteers to raise concerns and discuss cases.

The role
The Campaign Coordinator, with an excellent understanding of B2B, will coordinate business to business campaigns to increase awareness of Art Fund and its activities amongst arts professional audiences and their museum visitors. With demonstrable experience of managing marketing campaigns, they will deliver promotional activity to increase uptake of our grant-giving programmes, national events with museums, digital products and services for Museums.

Based within the Communications and IT Team within the Chief Operating Officer’s Department you will support the sharing of the good news of the archdiocese both internally and externally within our parishes, with clergy, schools, officers and stakeholders. As a team we are focussed on growing and developing our existing platforms including our websites and social media channels, as well as supporting the Archbishop, our parishes, clergy and other departments with communication and marketing needs. This role will also lead on supporting the archdiocese in telling the story of the Cathedral, past, present and future and helping build the vision of the new Visitor Centre. We are seeking an experienced professional who can help us translate our vision and engage with our communities and visitors to our city. The successful post-holder will work between St Margaret Clitherow Centre and the Cathedral (2 days per week), with travel across the Archdiocese as required. To thrive in this role you would need to be comfortable networking with a wide range of groups and individuals with differing levels of knowledge and experience. Bonny Downs Community Association has been working together to change lives and transform our community since 1998. Over the past 25 years our team has grown to provide a wide array of services that benefit Newham residents from all walks of life.
This role is specifically funded through the Youth Endowment fund as a pilot project ‘Thriving Communities’. You will be required to work alongside Thriving Communities commissioners, as well as the project’s Youth Justice Worker’s, Educational Psychologist, and/or professionals assigned to individual young people’s cases- such as teachers, social workers and mentors. The Thriving Communities project is a small part of a wider collaborative project, EMPOWER YOUTH, delivered by two partner charities so, although this position is based at BDCA, you will be working closely with a second East Ham Youth Partnership Project lead and team of Sessional Assistants based at nearby charity The Renewal Programme (TRP). Staff from each organisation will work together to deliver the programme and cross-refer young people to activities led by both teams. You will also be required to work with BDCA’s own Children & Families team during the summer scheme and liaise with our marketing team all year round. External partner agencies that you will work directly with include Thriving Communities panel, Newham Youth Empowerment Service, Newham Community Engagement Team, local sports clubs and schools.
