Are you a skilled administrator who loves dogs?
We’re looking for a Gift Processing Administrator, to play a key role in the smooth processing of all donations received at our London office.

What does this role do?
As Gift Processing Administrator, you’ll:

• process all incoming donations, from uploading data to the supporter database and sending thank you letters, to assisting charity shops with the administration of Gift Aid,
• work closely with Gift Processing Officers on more complex work, such as problem payments or refunds,
• accurately capture supporter consent preferences, ensuring data is entered correctly and in line with regulatory requirements,
• support the Supporter Stewardship team with emails during busy periods.

This role is being offered as a fixed term, family cover contract until December 2026. Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Friday 21st November 2025, and will take place on Teams.

Could this be you?
To be successful in this role, you’ll need some administrative experience, with excellent IT skills and the ability to prioritise your workload and follow procedures effectively. Strong attention to detail is essential for this role, as accuracy and data integrity is critical. While not essential, previous experience of working with a CRM database (such as Salesforce) would be helpful.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee the financial management, control and compliance functions of the College.

This is a pivotal leadership role within the Finance team, supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring strong financial governance, sound reporting, and long-term sustainability. Working closely with the Associate Director of Finance and senior leaders across the organisation, you will take responsibility for the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of all financial operations and reporting processes.

As Financial Controller, you will lead a team of six, overseeing financial control, statutory reporting, payroll, and compliance. You will ensure that robust internal controls are in place, and manage relationships with auditors, banks and investment partners.

This role will suit a qualified accountant with substantial experience in financial management and a collaborative leadership style.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes, including group consolidations and statutory accounts
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax, audit and charity regulations (including SORP)
• Managing internal and external audit processes and acting as primary contact for auditors
• Overseeing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, cash management and treasury functions

Essential skills and experience:

• Degree in finance, accounting or related field, and full professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in financial management, ideally within the nonprofit or public sector
• Proven track record of leading statutory reporting and year-end audit processes, including production of group consolidated accounts
• Experience managing financial operations in a complex organisation, preferably in the charity or healthcare sector
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel and strong working knowledge of financial systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels

• leading the development and continuous improvement of our UK-wide and community-based services, ensuring they are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with organisational strategy.  And also working alongside our Digital Services Product Manager on all of our digital services. 
• overseeing the full-service development lifecycle, using evidence to drive continuous improvement and ensuring that lived experience is embedded into design. 
• ensuring that our new or improved services are operationally viable. Supporting our Fundraising to ensure that new services are funded. 
• Developing and managing our service development roadmap.

• significant experience of leading coproduction and service experience design, and ability to support others to deliver these activities. 
• ability to lead organisational discussions and be an authoritative champion based on subject expertise (for coproduction, service development and innovation).

• experience of leading service development and managing the service lifecycle (including horizon scanning, research, coproduction, piloting and using monitoring and evaluation data to make improvements), ideally in a health or third sector setting.

Through our unique anywhere, anytime, anybody approach to citizen science, we gather critical evidence of water and litter pollution to drive solutions that protect both environmental and human health. Our data and citizen science methods have been featured in academic journals (Stanton, et al., 2022) and media investigations (Channel 4 and ITV), enhancing public and scientific knowledge of litter pollution. 

About the role

The Fundraising Lead (Corporate & Grants) will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of income generation for Planet Patrol, including the planning and delivery of our fundraising strategy; with a focus on corporates and grants. You will secure new partnerships and sponsorships, and develop high-value, multi-year commitments that align with both Planet Patrol’s priorities and our funders objectives. Whilst this role is fixed term, we hope to secure enough funding to make the role permanent.

You’ll be one of only a handful of employees and a team of excellent freelancers, so being a team player is a must! Key Responsibilities

Fundraising & Relationship Building

• Meet and exceed the annual new funding target of £300k, whilst maintaining existing funding agreements.
• Secure sponsorship for at least three organisational priorities worth a minimum of £50k each.
• Write and submit innovative, engaging and impactful funding applications.
• Prospect new supporters and build long-term, high-value relationships.
• Quickly and efficiently respond to calls for proposals, maximising all opportunities..
• Work with colleagues across Planet Patrol to develop and deliver bespoke opportunities aligned with funder priorities.
• Host cultivation events and support other team members in engaging prospective sponsors.
• Ensure due diligence in line with Planet Patrol’s ethics and due diligence policies.

Strategic

• Lead on the development and delivery of Planet Patrol’s fundraising strategy, setting income targets and KPIs with the Director.
• Work closely with the Head of Programmes and Campaigns to develop exciting, innovative and impactful funding propositions. 
• Contribute to the wider Organisational strategy and annual Business Plan.
• Keep abreast of sector developments and funding opportunities to ensure plans are timely and effective.

Account Management

• Maximise our existing portfolio of corporate supporters, ensuring timely delivery of benefits, publicity and events.
• Oversee reporting to funders, sponsors and partners, demonstrating impact and value.
• Manage budgets within the fundraising portfolio and contribute to organisational efficiency and effectiveness.

Marketing & Communications

• Create compelling and innovative partnership opportunities for corporate supporters.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver sponsorship benefits and ensure accurate representation of sponsors across Planet Patrol platforms.
• Coordinate sponsor advertising and communications, with support from colleagues.
• Positively represent Planet Patrol at events and conferences.

Role requirements:

• A minimum three years working in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• A demonstrated ability in securing funding worth five-and-six figures.
• Experience working remotely and making impactful relationships online.
• Be able to communicate effectively with senior corporate leaders.
• Experience in providing excellent stakeholder engagement, ideally through an integrated CRM.
• A natural networker and innovator, you’ll always be spotting opportunities.
• Excellent general IT skills and knowledge of new platforms to enable efficiency (Trello, Slack, HubSpot, Xero).

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring effective financial planning, reporting, and business partnering across the organisation.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Finance, you will lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process, produce regular financial performance reports, and develop financial models to support key strategic decisions. You will ensure that the College’s leadership has access to clear, insightful analysis to guide financial and operational planning.

You will foster a culture of effective business partnering, providing expert financial advice and support to budget holders and colleagues across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the annual budgeting process and developing regular reforecasts in alignment with the College’s strategic priorities
• Producing timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis
• Developing financial models to support key strategic and operational decisions

About the role  

It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy. 

The newly created role of Federation Development Lead will sit within the Partnerships and Federation Development directorate, to support the delivery of key charity and federation-wide objectives, as part of our mission to empower people affected by homelessness and poverty to change their lives for the better while using our voice to achieve social change. 

The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body, responsible for leading on and supporting the development of key projects within Emmaus UK and the wider federation.

This will include providing leadership to support Emmaus communities across the UK to prepare and respond to the introduction of the Supported Housing (Regulatory Oversight) Act, you will require an understanding and commitment to best practice and legislative requirements related to the provision of supported housing, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into user friendly support, training, guidance and policies and procedures

The role will also provide a critical role in the implementation and delivery of Emmaus UK’s ambitious plans to seek registration as a provider of social housing. You will provide the project management and technical skills required to support the successful delivery of the application process, ensuring that risk and regulatory requirements are considered and acted upon at each stage, maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders externally and across the federation.

As the Federation Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of the Emmaus movement within the UK, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the overall success of the federation. Your role will involve supporting the development and delivery of strategic plans, programme design and implementation, stakeholder management, and continuous evaluation and improvement of developed initiatives.

Working with the Director of Partnerships and Federation Development and wider Senior Leadership Team, the role will be central to the delivery of strategic objectives related to the development of the movement.
