About the role
As a Finance Business Partner, you will have responsibility for the leading the annual budget setting process for the organisation – circa. £8m.
You'll report to to the CEO, Executive Team (ET), and with the Finance and Commercial Director (FCD) support the preparation of papers for the Board on the numbers, with narrative, detail and analysis where appropriate.
The role will not line manage but will be expected to coach, mentor, collaborate with and contribute to the development of the other members of the finance team - we are, all of us, internal customer facing.
As Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting budget holders to produce robust forecasts for the Management Accounts and to produce monthly Management Accounts with the Finance Manager.

This exciting new role will fulfil a key function for CCT, as we enter a new five-year strategy. One of the main themes of this strategy is creativity - supporting creative new uses for our sites. The role will support the delivery of existing Regeneration and Enterprise initiatives and partnerships across our estate, in addition to supporting new initiatives and partnership opportunities that we implement. You will lead our internal processes and reporting, to identify and scrutinise the most promising of these opportunities, identified by the wider team. You will bring your expertise, and the resources of your team, to bear in assisting in the development, scrutiny and delivery of these, reviewing and monitoring their commercial performance.
This role will play a key role in capitalising on the successes of the Trust’s longstanding Regeneration programme, which has undertaken pioneering Regeneration projects which have addressed some of our most pressing conservation needs, had wide-ranging wider impacts, and developed new operating models for some of the churches in our care. In addition, it encompasses the work undertaken to develop new commercial income opportunities. Examples are our groundbreaking Champing™ initiative, as well as others such as filming, and other commercial partnerships, including for example those involved in the Van Gogh Immersive Experience, at our church at All Saint’s (Leicester).

- Support the development of existing projects within the team including natural capital markets, farmer engagement and species recovery projects.

About the Role
A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. We’re looking for an experienced and proactive senior events manager to lead the delivery of our learning and events programme for a 12 month period.
This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in how we deliver value to our members through events and learning.

About the role

Our operations team is led by the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and includes the finance and bookings & venue teams. This is a newly created role that will report directly to the COO and work closely with the wider operations team.
Scope of role
The Senior IT & Operations Officer is responsible for leading the central coordination of IT operations, managing key relationships with two main contractors (IT and estate management), and ensuring seamless integration of IT infrastructure and estate management services. This role involves overseeing the effective and efficient functioning of both IT systems and estate operations for Toynbee Hall and Toynbee Trading, while prioritising the safety of staff and stakeholders on-site. The officer will proactively identify opportunities for improvement, resolve issues, and maintain a collaborative working environment to support business continuity, operational efficiency, and safety standards across all operational areas. Additionally, they will support the procurement of IT and estate-related items, such as IT kit, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of required resources.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Information Technology & Systems
- Support the COO and wider SMT with all IT related strategy including procurement and streamline of new IT service provider/s. Including setting up KPIs’ and using these to assess performance.
- Manage the setup of new staff – including the procurement of equipment required for the role – this includes all communication tools.
- Managing the relationship and being the key point of contact with the technology suppliers and technology support providers.
- Identifying cost savings/efficiencies in the tech stack.
- Supporting IT KIT refresh plans and purchase, this includes audit of needs and vendor negotiations and lifecycle planning with the COO.
- Leading on regular assessment of IT and systems needs for all services and administrative staff.
Facilities, Health and Safety & General Administration
- Act as the main point of contact with our property management company. Work with the COO to escalate issues.
- Book in contractors and maintain all required documentation in conjunction with other key stake holders (property manager/agent).
- Be the escalation point for maintenance issues, liaising with the property management company to make sure that issues are dealt with in a satisfactory manner.
- Work with H&S consultants and property managers to ensure all relevant training is planned for and carried out and Risk assessments are being completed and used.
- Work with HR to ensure that all relevant training is planned for and carried out.
- Maintain records for all mandatory tests in conjunction with our property agents.
- Liaise with the Events and Venue Manager to ensure building management is always in place, keyholding, security etc.
Projects
- Manage ad hoc projects on behalf of the operations team; such as refurbishments, implementation of printer management.

The Salvation Army is one of the largest, most diverse providers of social and community services after the Government. With more than 600 local centres and nearly 100 residential centres, they make a powerful difference to people across the UK who might otherwise be excluded.
Along with the Assistant Head of Individual Giving, the Supporter Acquisition Managers are responsible for growing the organisation’s file of donors and hitting an annual Individual Giving team fundraising target of £50 million in unrestricted income. As a direct marketing subject matter expert, they will lead cold recruitment campaigns and support in identifying and delivering new products or acquisition streams. The roles will lead on planning and project managing delivery of a variety of media channels, both online and offline. Each manager will hold strategic areas of focus, be responsible for seven figure expenditure budgets and line manage a Supporter Acquisition Officer or Executive.
The successful candidates will have significant direct marketing expertise with a strong background in project managing multiple campaigns across a range of channels, ideally in a fundraising role, and with proven success at recruiting new donors. You will have a passion for fundraising with a commercial understanding of the charity marketplace and competitors.
