Due to the rapid expansion of Day One Trauma Support over the last three years, the charity’s infrastructure has needed to respond quickly to meet its changing demands. There is now a requirement to ensure that the Finance and Resources team has the right skill set and capacity to provide the support needed by the charity in an efficient and proactive way.
The HR Officer and Executive Assistant role is a newly created position to reflect both the growing HR needs of the charity as the workforce expands, and the executive support required by the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the efficient and effective running of the charity. This is a key role which is instrumental in bringing the HR and organisational administration functions together at an operational level.
Reporting primarily to the Director of Finance and Resources and assisted by an external HR and Employment Law support service, this role will provide advice, guidance and support to all line managers in HR related matters whilst building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders throughout all levels of the organisation. This will include support to ensure the efficient and effective management, monitoring and reporting of people metrics, from recruitment, development, retention through to attrition and at all stages of the employee life cycle.
The role will also provide crucial executive support to the CEO and SLT of three Directors, to ensure the smooth operation of their responsibilities and co-ordinating efforts of various parties to ensure completion of key tasks and actions.

About you:
You will have at least 3 years’ experience of delivering HR support directly and facilitating line managers to deliver HR support. You will have a demonstrable understanding of employment law and the practical application of this, with experience of implementing HR administration and operational best practice for example, in the areas of recruitment, capability and performance management. You will help lead in creating an atmosphere of trust and an enabling environment where staff can contribute their best and develop their potential, which is critical for Day One as a young organisation.
You will have significant experience of providing proactive and responsive administrative assistance to senior staff and demonstrable experience of developing and managing effective administrative systems. Additionally, the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships through professional engagement and communication skills, both written and spoken, that are effective, empathetic and adaptable to different situations are key to this role.
You will be highly organised and responsive to others in a way that is both timely and professional with well-developed time management skills to manage competing priorities, ensure follow up of actions and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical to this role, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.

Galop, the UK’s LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, is seeking a Survivor Engagement Manager. Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We are looking to recruit a Survivor Engagement Manager. This new role will lead the development of Galop’s approach to survivor engagement, ensuring that LGBT+ survivors are at the centre of all of our work. This role combines the need for a strategic outlook, alongside practical frontline skills in working with those who have experienced trauma. You will be experienced in managing complex projects that centre survivors and juggling competing priorities. You will be a team player who is able to work collaboratively across the organisation, including staff, volunteers and trustees, bringing people together to make change. Anti-oppression and a clear understanding power and power dynamics will be at the heart of your practice, designing processes, systems and projects with the most marginalised within our community in mind.
We are looking for someone with experience of trauma-informed practice and who seeks to empower those that they are working with. You will have excellent influencing skills and be able to bring together groups of people to make change for LGBT+ survivors.You will be responsible for:
- Working collaboratively across Galop teams to embed survivor engagement across the organisation
- Development of Expert by Experience group(s), ensuring structures are in place to ensure to diverse LGBT+ survivors can engage with and lead this work
- Co-designing and delivering a programme of activities with and for LGBT+ survivors in line with Galop’s survivor engagement strategy
- Developing and implementing robust monitoring and evaluation processes to ensure that Galop is able to assess the effectiveness of the work and demonstrate the difference it is making.
- Working with Galop’s policy, research and comms teams to ensure that Survivor voices are at the centre of our external work
- Working with Galop’s services team to ensure survivors are at the centre of the design, development and delivery of services.

- Develop and implement Galop’s Survivor Engagement Strategy, ensuring that survivor voice is at the centre of Galop’s work

Senior Youth Outreach and Engagement Worker
Streets of Growth is seeking to employ an experienced, motivated, and personable individual to work as part of the frontline team to deliver targeted street work to engage and build relationships of trust with high-risk vulnerable young people (15-25 years), in hotspot areas known for Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB), exploitation, serious youth violence and young people that are furthest away from engaging in services.
You should expect to be appointed at the starting point of the salary scale and a higher starting salary band is dependent on you having extensive experience and skills in street work and detached outreach work as well as relevant frontline experience of working with at-risk young people.
These working hours will vary and will be worked according to business needs and notified to you in advance. You will be required to work late afternoons, evenings, and weekends as part of your normal working week

The role:
Taking on a lead role to deliver targeted street work and outreach across the borough of Tower Hamlets. This involves engaging and building relationships of trust with young people at street level and in identified hotspot areas of risk where there is low to high anti-social behaviour, criminality and violence. Working with and engaging young people in strategic interventions across Lifestyle, Enterprise/Employability, Education and Environment that constructively challenge negative patterns of behaviour, create an experience for positive thinking, confidence building, entrepreneurial work skills, and tapping into the young person’s ambition, potential and talent.
You will have senior responsibility with the Frontline Director to plan and execute street work and outreach delivery in identified hotspot areas or risk based on street/community and partner intelligence. As well as holding a small street-engaged caseload of young people and providing a lead responsibility to deliver appropriate targeted intervention work during critical incidents in the community.

Along with a relevant professional qualification at level 3 or degree level, you will have significant frontline experience working with young people, including experience in detached outreach work with young people and experience working with at-risk, vulnerable young people. The Role:
The Partner Engagement Lead is responsible for key account management, and specifically developing and supporting relationships with programme sponsors and partners within the WorldGBC network.
The Partner Engagement Lead will work closely alongside the programme/projects team subject leads, taking responsibility for day to day management of activities that relate to sponsors or stakeholders, including partner relationships, external collaborations and fundraising.
Working cross-functionally within a matrix-style organisation, the Lead will work collaboratively on the engagement pillar of WorldGBC's fundraising team alongside the Partnerships Manager and the Strategic Partnerships Lead. This team coordinates closely with all WorldGBC departments, in particular where sponsors are involved with initial focus on the programme/project partners.
Well-organised and a great communicator, this individual will ensure that key relationships are managed effectively across the organisation, and be detail oriented in their reporting and accounting of opportunities. The Lead should also be willing to represent the organisation in relevant external opportunities relating to the programmes as need arises - including fundraising meetings, external working groups, events or conferences.
The Partner Engagement Lead will report to the Director of Programmes Strategy.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Account Management: Be primary point of contact for new and existing programmatic sponsors and partners, overseeing engagement with the network and accounting with detailed reporting to ensure up-to-date partnership records. Work alongside the programmatic team leads to deliver all agreed benefits to partners, ensuring a uniform balance of benefits and opportunities across sponsors engaging in all areas of the organisation.

About the role

Requirements
We are looking to recruit a Head of Member Acquisition and Engagement on a part-time contract. This is an exciting new role that will play a key part in our continued growth and will make a real impact on the teaching profession; we are looking for someone who believes in our mission and the work we do.
Working closely with the Deputy Chief Executive, Associate Director: Partnerships and the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Head of Member Acquisition and Engagement will take a lead on activity related to attracting and retaining our individual teacher members, including developing, rolling out and evaluating recruitment and retention programmes, initiatives and campaigns for current and prospective members. The successful candidate will be confident using data to inform decision-making and monitor progress towards membership growth targets and have the ability to work well independently and within a team.

Main area of work

Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training across the UK. They will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of organisations and families.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
They will be able to demonstrate the impact of this work by working with organisations to collate case studies and evidence to support the programmes achievements.
