We have a vacancy for a Finance Business Partner to join our fantastic Financial Planning & Analysis team here at RBL. We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner who is passionate about the charity and welfare sector to join us and deliver high quality financial, commercial and business advisory support to our organisation.

This role will see you as a key member of the Finance team, working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner to deliver robust financially planning and advice to our Fundraising directorate, supporting budget holders, Heads of Departments and Directors across this area.

You will manage the month end process for your business area to ensure all regular journals are posted in a timely and accurate manner. Any necessary corrections should be made, and you will support budget holders with reporting and variance analysis.

You will develop trusted relationships to produce financial projections, budgets, forecasts and business cases, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy. You’ll be a keen problem solver with an eye for detail, an effective communicator and have a strong focus on customer service, planning and organising. 

You will have similar experience in finance and management accounting obtained in a complex organisation, and knowledge of a variety of accounting systems and financial reporting approaches. Experience working within the sector advantageous, but not essential.

As an accountancy qualification isn’t an essential requirement for this role, we would be open to funding elements of a professional accountancy qualification, pending the completion of a probationary period.
You will be contracted to our London, Haig House, Hub with a minimum expectation of two days per week working in person at the Hub (one day must be a Tuesday) and flexibility for working remotely/at home when not on site.

About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. A UK registered charity, we work in collaboration with Palestinian communities and trusted local partners, and coordinate with key stakeholders and relevant clusters, to meet a wide range of health and social needs, from providing vital medical aid in emergencies, to supporting the development of better health services for the long term. The ideal candidate will have Relevant post-graduate business degree preferred. Responsibilities

Strategy, vision and leadership

• Be accountable to the CEO and Board in the areas of finance, technology, risk and compliance, supply chain and logistics, and safety and security.
• Advise the CEO and SMT on all these areas as well as on legal, governance and related policy matters.
• Work closely with SMT colleagues to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.
• Serve as the management liaison to the Finance & Operations Committee, Audit Risk & Governance Committee and, where required, to the Board of Trustees; effectively communicate and present critical matters under their responsibility at governance meetings.
• Ensure robust, secure and scalable IT systems and infrastructure. Lead on information governance & data protection and identify and drive opportunities for digital transformation.
• Provide strategic leadership for supply chain management at MAP to ensure an efficient, effective and accountable supply chain policies and practices that meet MAP’s needs.

This new role will focus on driving business development and fundraising opportunities, and ensuring robust contract administration across METRO's HIV services. Reporting to the Head of HIV or Director of Services, the Senior Manager (HIV Services): Business Development and Team Coordination plays a vital role in strengthening the sustainability and effectiveness of METRO's HIV services.

The post holder will support the development of funding proposals and bids, build and maintain relationships with funders, commissioners, and partners, and contribute to fundraising activity to secure the future of HIV services. Programme

METRO runs various HIV prevention and support services across London and the Southeast. These services include pan London and local HIV prevention services, HIV support services including advice and advocacy and family support, HIV peer mentoring and counselling services. Many of these services are delivered in partnership with agencies such as the GMIPartnership consisting of Spectra, Positive East, and our collaborations with THT, Positively UK and Africa Advocacy Foundation. Our services are also embedded in other sexual health partnerships, such as the SASH programme, which consists of our partnerships with Turning Point, London Friend and Naz. The Access to Justice Founation is seeking a manager to lead data systems, quality, and management across our organisation. The successful candidate will:

• Oversee data collection – ensuring we collect the right data, in the right way, as accurately as possible
• Maintain the systems that hold our data (primarily Salesforce)
• Support colleagues to access, use, and present our data.

This role will report into our Operations Team, which has a cross-functional remit and provides support to all other teams at the foundation. We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively and employ a customer-centric approach to support colleagues and enable their work. Further, the Foundation is in an exciting period of growth, and we’re currently making a major investment in our Salesforce instance while also developing our team’s data capabilities. We’re looking for someone who is proactive and enthusiastic to jump into this role. You will help nurture and support a critical piece of our organisational infrastructure and our team’s capacity. With support from the senior management team, you will be at the heart of our efforts to successfully manage all our data and related systems.
