The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only patient-led organisation in the UK specialising in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Due to its targeted focus on RA and JIA, NRAS provides truly expert and wide-ranging services to support, educate and campaign for people living with these complex autoimmune conditions, their families and the health professionals who treat them.

1. Main Purpose of Job

To drive referrals to and use of, NRAS services from NHS relationships across the UK.

Identify, build and maintain relationships with Rheumatology and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure relevant healthcare professionals are aware of the support that NRAS provides to people with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Adult Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.

To work with those healthcare professionals to maximise uptake of their referrals to our services.

Attend events around the UK and online to promote NRAS Services.

Support the I&SD Director and other senior team leaders to design, develop and implement new services and to reach new audiences for existing services.

2. Business development & Strategy

2.1. Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities for NRAS services within the NHS.

2.2. Create and implement business/service development strategies to expand the service user base, and service offering within NHS Rheumatology departments and connected healthcare teams.

2.3. Analyse market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and stay ahead of industry developments to recommend strategies for further growth of NRAS services.

3. Relationship development and management around the UK

3.1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential referrers or influencers and healthcare providers often travelling to attend clinic/location meetings.

3.2. Act as the primary point of contact for key referring organisations, ensuring referrer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for additional services or project work.

3.3. Understand HCP needs, provide tailored solutions, and work closely with the project managers to ensure successful delivery.

4. Proposition and presentation development

4.1. Lead the creation of compelling proposals, and presentations to drive new service user volumes.

4.2. Work with internal teams to gather technical and operational input to develop competitive, high-quality proposals.

4.3. Present to referrers and influencers articulating NRAS’ value proposition, differentiators, and capabilities.

5. Project Management Oversight

5.1. Support senior/project managers in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with referrer and influencer expectations.

5.2. Monitor the progress of key projects, providing necessary updates to clients and senior management on milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.

5.3. Facilitate communication between referrers, internal teams, and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of projects.

6. Monitoring and Evaluation and “market” intelligence

6.1. Monitor the rheumatology service landscape, industry trends, new regulations and innovation.

6.2. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership regarding potential strategic partnerships, services or new audiences.

6.3. Prepare regular reports on performance, development activities, and client feedback.

7. Networking & industry representation

7.1. Attend/undertake promotional relevant conferences, seminars, and networking events to build NRAS’ visibility and attract new service users

7.2. Cultivate a professional network within Rheumatology and MDT arena, leveraging connections for potential opportunities.

7.3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Qualifications: A-level or qualified by experience

Experience:

About Galop’s Policy and Evidence work

This is a hugely exciting time to be joining Galop, with flexibility to think long term about how best to drive change and do something new and different. Whilst Galop has always advocated for policy change, this role is part of a new, growing team specifically focused on evidence-based policy change. Quest for Learning is an education charity on a mission to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind - often due to complex and compounding disadvantage. Role Purpose

This is a hands-on and outward-facing role for a confident, capable fundraiser ready to lead Quest for Learning’s income generation efforts. About the Role

The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. Background on MENA Death Penalty Work

Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. Direct casework on strategic cases is core to our work in all regions, and includes legal, political and advocacy strategies as appropriate. We look in particular to find and develop cases and narratives which have the potential to change the landscape and benefit as many individuals or classes of individuals as possible. Typical Accountabilities of position:

· Support line manager to prepare agendas, co-ordinate timely pre-read papers, write minutes, and track agreed actions.

· Maintain consistent Terms of Reference across all Board Committees.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, whose mission is to see a time when no deaf person feels alone, is seeking a Prospect Team Manager to identify, qualify and deliver high-quality prospect insight to support transformational giving across their philanthropy and high value programmes.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, grow their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.

Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that will shape how the charity uses data, research and insight to drive significant growth in income from major donors, corporate partners and other high-value supporters. You will lead the Prospect Research function, developing and delivering a proactive, insight-led prospect research strategy to support the charity’s ambitious fundraising goals, as well as working to identify potential major donors amongst individuals, trusts and corporates.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in prospect research including identifying and prioritising prospects, network mapping, ethical screening and developing gift capacity ratings. You will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a collaborative outlook and a high attention to detail.  You will also possess excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience in setting up or significantly developing a prospect research function would be an advantage.

Overview / purpose of the role

We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Officer who is interested in developing a career in bookkeeping and/or accountancy within the nonprofit sector. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in a finance or operations role who is looking to build on that foundation and grow their skills in a mission-driven organisation.

You don’t need to have specific qualifications in finance or accounting - what matters most is a strong interest in charity finance, excellent attention to detail, and motivation to grow professionally. The Finance & Operations Officer is a central resource within CGP, working with colleagues in the Operations Team, and across the organisation to provide financial and operational support to all areas of our work. They will work closely with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to process invoices, expenses and conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring that all financial policies and procedures are carefully adhered to. They will also support colleagues to follow our financial policies and processes and act as the first point of contact for any questions on these procedures. Additionally, they will provide general administrative and operational support to colleagues as outlined in the below job description.

Responsibilities

Finance

• Managing our accounts payable inbox, monitoring all incoming invoices and following up with team members on any missing information if required

• Processing and coding invoices  in Xero accounting software ahead of weekly payment runs

• Checking that correct coding and approval procedures are followed for staff expenses

• Conducting weekly payment runs via our online banking system

• Coordinating our monthly payroll processes (working with external providers)

• Working with the Head of Operations & Evaluation and Director of Finance to support the development of funding proposals

• Working with the Head of Operations & Evaluation and Director of Finance to support financial reporting on grants for external donors

• Supporting the Head of Operations & Evaluation and Director of Finance with general financial administration, record keeping and tracking budgets

• Provide training on expense and invoicing processes to new members of staff and generally acting as the first point of contact for all staff on any finance procedure questions (full training will be provided)

• Supporting the Senior Management Team (SMT) and our Director of Finance to develop the annual organisational budget and report against it quarterly

• Providing budgeting support as required for colleagues internally 

Office Management & General Operational Support

• Acting as the key point of contact between CGP & our coworking office space (organising memberships, meeting room bookings, invoices, printing credits, equipment, internal events etc.)

• Organising post, stationery supplies and managing stocks of office equipment

• Maintain/organise our filing and cloud storage systems logically and efficiently, in a data protection compliant manner.

• Ad hoc IT support as required, including online troubleshooting and logging support requests with service providers when necessary.

• General administrative support to the CEO and Head of Operations & Evaluation

Human Resources

• Support with recruitment processes within CGP, including assisting members of the team to schedule and coordinate job interviews, contact candidates and file incoming applications. 

• Working with the Head of Operations & Evaluation to organise internal events like team away days and staff team building activities.

Person specification

The right candidate will bring some prior experience in a relevant role, alongside enthusiasm for nonprofit finance and operations. They will have an aptitude for maths and finance,  excellent attention to detail and a meticulous, methodical approach to work and troubleshooting.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has 1–2 years of experience in a finance, bookkeeping, administrative, or operations role

• Is interested in building a career in nonprofit finance and is open to pursuing further financial training

• Is broadly supportive of UK Aid 

• Is an independent worker, self-starter who can take responsibility for projects through to completion

• Has excellent IT skills, proficient with MS Office programmes (particularly Excel) and Google Workspace, and the ability to learn to use new software as required (for example, Xero, Soldo and Salesforce)
