About the Role: We wish to appoint a Social Media Coordinator to join our small Communications and Engagement team. This is an exciting opportunity to increase the engagement of the Diocese of Winchester through digital media channels.
You will be responsible for sharing the life of the diocese and positive content about Christian faith through social media with particular relation to sharing news and stories about the 2025 Bid for national funding (awarded by the national church to dioceses to support them to undertake transformational programmes aimed at revitalising mission and ministry and growing the Kingdom of God in terms of numbers of worshippers and depth of faith).
This role also includes equipping our churches to reach out using digital tools and social media platforms with a particular emphasis on younger audiences, in line with our Bid’s priorities to grow younger and more diverse as a diocesan community.

Job Summary
- Developing the diocese’s social media presence on its current platforms – Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn– developing content and campaigns according to an annual content plan which incorporates all church seasons, awareness days, liturgical events, as well as sharing the key messages and events from the Diocese particularly in relation to the 2025 Bid for national funding.
- Working closely with the Comms team, Strategic Development team and senior staff to identify stories and examples of good ministerial practice and creative ideas that can be communicated with our wider diocesan community through social media, fostering a culture of information and ideas sharing across the diocese.
- Being part of wider strategic conversations to consider the role of social media in how the diocese can effectively communicate information about the Bid process and how benefices can engage with it, particularly in communicating with children, youth and families and youth leaders.
- Assist with the development of a strategic plan which grows the diocesan presence on new platforms, such as TikTok and BlueSky, with the specific aim of generating content that reaches younger audiences and that is more missional and ‘gospel-centred’, keeping up to date with online trends.
- Working closely with Mission and Ministry Team to communicate their training and events in ways tailored to younger audiences, and building collaborative networks of young people and youth leaders and comms people around the diocese who will share our content.
- Equipping our parishes with digital skills in using social media through training, getting them started on appropriate platforms and advising them on content and strategy to connect with existing and new audiences, as part of a suite of interventions offered as part of the 2024 Bid for funding and aligning with aims to help our diocesan community grow younger and more diverse.
- Using online tools in data analysis, reporting on social media engagement, and scheduling tools such as Buffer.
- Engaging with other social media users within and outside our community, including regularly interaction with parishes and diocesan communities, sharing their stories and commenting, replying to messages and queries, and being an ambassador for the diocese and our Christian faith and values.
- Ensuring our social media platforms allow stakeholders to provide comments and feedback on all that we do and to create a culture of shared ownership and storytelling.
- Working consistently within and upholding the diocese’s brand values/tone of voice and within the Archbishop’s social media guidelines as well as the diocese’s own social media policy.
- Supporting the other members of the comms team with creating designed content using tools like Canva and video for use on social media sites and offering creative ideas within the team context.
Key role requirements
This is an office-based role, with the expectation to work from the office 1 day per week.
About you
We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Educated to at least degree level is preferable
- An excellent level of English is essential
- Good skills in both written and verbal communication
- Experience of using social media and designing campaigns to share stories of Christian faith, grow online community and reach younger audiences
- Some experience with audio, photography, video editing for multi-channel use
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or other editing tools
- Experience of working within, or alongside, the Church of England or another Christian charity or mission organisation desirable

Habitat for Humanity Great Britain (HFHGB) is part of the international Habitat for Humanity network, tackling housing poverty around the world. Decent and affordable housing is about much more than four walls and a roof – housing intersects with critical development issues, including gender equality, human rights, and climate change. We're not just creating homes. We're also creating opportunities. Providing connections and support for people in housing need as well as volunteer experiences for corporate partners. At Habitat for Humanity’s upcycling initiative we take things and bring them into the workshop and give them a new lease of life.
Overview
Habitat for Humanity GB (HFHGB) engages corporate volunteers in practical upcycling workshops as part of its social impact programme. These workshops involve the restoration or creation of furniture and home goods for people experiencing housing precarity. We are seeking an experienced freelance consultant to manage and deliver this programme on a flexible, per-project basis.
Less than 2% of social housing actually comes with furniture. Our upcycling workshop aims to part-furnish these properties with high quality repaired and upcycled items and create opportunities for other households and communities experiencing economic hardship to furnish their own space.
We have strong support from the UK public, who are keen to make donations of furniture and materials, as well as support from the UK private sector. This project will combine these offers of support by enabling a creative workshop space where teams of volunteers can be supervised to upcycle donated items. Our upcycling project aims to furnish properties with high quality repaired and upcycled items and create opportunities for other households and communities experiencing economic hardship to furnish their own space. Upcycled furniture also goes to our Restore in Romford which is our Charity DIY shop and a community space for low-income households to purchase essential furniture items and access tailored DIY and construction information to help them make affordable improvements to their home.
Scope of Services
The consultant will be contracted to provide services under two categories:
A. Workshop Delivery (Per Event Basis)

Lead upcycling workshops for groups of up to 15 volunteers

Demonstrate furniture painting, sanding, or assembly techniques

Provide safety briefings and facilitate an inclusive and engaging volunteer experience

Ensure venue is prepared (tools, PPE, materials) and tidied post-event

Capture basic event data (e.g., attendance, photos, testimonials)
B. Planning & Admin (Hourly Basis)

Liaise with HFHGB staff to scope each workshop

Procure or prepare necessary materials (paint, wood, furniture)

Coordinate with donors and suppliers on logistics

Maintain inventory of workshop tools and supplies

Maintain inventory of food/refreshments e.g. water, milk, tea etc

Support design of new upcycling activities for different skill levels
Scope of Consultancy
The Upcycling Programme Consultant will be engaged to deliver HFHGB’s Upcycling Workshops. We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and supportive individual to fulfil this role. The ideal consultant will have experience working with individuals from a mixture of backgrounds and with different experience levels:

Overseeing workshop delivery in line with agreed project scope, developing and managing a process to ensure that donated items of furniture are upcycled to a high quality and providing input into volunteer coordination and inductions as agreed.

We are looking for someone with the creativity and drive to grow the project and workshop outputs, and existing experience of furniture upcycling, such as varnishing, painting, knowledge of furniture restoration is essential as this is the focus of the existing work.

There will be times where the Upcycling Programme Consultant will be required contribute to related activities if mutually agreed, such as meeting with various partners and helping with collections or deliveries.
Furniture Upcycling
-
To coordinate with a team of designated supervisors who will oversee day to day upcycling with Corporate Partners, e.g. volunteers. This includes involvement in appointment, oversight and assisting with necessary training for supervisors etc.

To develop creative and engaging ideas and processes about what to do with the furniture from start to finish.
-
This includes identifying which pieces of furniture will be upcycled for each session, in what way they will be painted and finished and what products will be used. Ultimately creating a process for each piece which supervisors can use in the sessions as a guide for the day and with participants.

To oversee the donation and collection of stock and materials from partners and donors, including liaising with Restore and procuring from local sources.

To complete regular stock checks to ensure adequate stock of all items needed to creatively upcycle furniture in available including but not limited to paint, sandpaper, waxes, varnishes, and tools.
Programme Support Activities/Project Logistics and Liaison/Project Co-oridnation.

Act as the primary liaison for all Upcycling enquiries, working with suppliers, media and supporters as required. Representing Habitat at workshops, internal and external events with current and potential donors.

Track and report on expenditure for the project, as agreed with Habitat for Humanity and the Director of Programme Delivery ensuring value for money and adherence to, and review of budget expectations.

Facilitate relevant meetings relating to the project, including setting agendas, writing, distributing, and following up on agreed actions.

Co-ordinate with HFHGB staff to develop all marketing materials using all the charity’s communication channels.

Adhere to HFHGB health and safety procedures while on-site.

Provide excellent customer service to ensure all stakeholders have a positive experience of the project.

Evaluate the success and impact of the project by monitoring pieces upcycled and diverted from landfill, and GIK (Gift in kind) donated to support the project,
-
Ensure all registration forms, health and safety and inductions forms are completed and saved according to GDPR practices.

Ensure before and after photos of the furniture and volunteer involvement on the day is captured and downloaded onto the appropriate system.

Provide information to ensure the Impact Team can prepare narrative and financial reports required by donors.
Consultant Profile
The consultant is expected to have:

Demonstrable experience in furniture upcycling, including restoration, varnishing, and upholstery.

Experience working with volunteers in a workshop or creative environment.

Strong organisational skills and ability to deliver on time and within budget.

Confidence in liaising with donors, corporate volunteers, and suppliers

A current clean UK driving licence and access to transport

For a Children's Trust providing support and social care for children, young people and families in the Midlands, we are recruiting an Interim Head of Finance. Reporting to the Director of Resources, this is a key role in the strategic leadership team helping shape the future of care and support for young people in the area. Global Health Partnerships (GHP – formerly THET) is a global health charity working in partnership with governments, health institutions, and international bodies to train health workers and strengthen health systems across 31 countries. We do this through grants management and capacity building, alongside research, convening and advocacy towards the goal of Universal Health Coverage (UHC). At the centre of our approach, is the model of Health Partnerships, long-term relationships between UK and low- and middle-income countries (LMIC) health institutions, which improve health services through the reciprocal exchange of skills, knowledge, and experience. At the heart of our work is vision of a world where everyone has access to healthcare.
GHP is seeking a consultant to conduct a study examining the work of GHWP in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. The consultant will lead investigations into the benefits and impact of HP health systems and health workforce interventions under the DHSC-funded GHWP.
This study will explore and examine the value added of the Health Partnership approach to the health systems of the three partner countries. While the effectiveness and impact of health workforce and health system strengthening interventions have been highlighted through GHWP reports and sharing and learning events in each of the three countries, insights and results have not yet been sufficiently synthesised or documented in a way that supports advocacy, resource mobilisation and policy positioning.
This study will review and examine existing literature and data, including published and grey literature, GHWP reports, reports from other DHSC-funded GHP projects, and other available documentation on the benefits of the Health Partnership model (see Related Papers section). Some primary qualitative data collection and analysis may be required.
Contractual Responsibilities
Reports to: The Technical Director, based in the UK, who will provide technical oversight of the study. The Consultant will be responsible for managing their workload and conducting the activities in a timely and efficient manner as set out in this document. The Consultant will agree the specific focus areas for the study with the Technical Director and GHP team. The Consultant will also have regular reporting points with the Head of the Evidence and Impact Team and other GHP colleagues, as required.
The contract will run from August 2025 over a 4-month period. The Consultant will submit a technical proposal and budget of up to £20,000. The consultant will invoice GHP on a monthly basis. Please note that this is non-negotiable.

Qualifications and Experience:
· Postgraduate degree in Global Health, Public Health, Health Policy, International Development, or a related field.
· Proven experience in health systems and/or health workforce research or evaluation
· Understanding of the health partnership approach/mode, ideally involving countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, or Kenya.
· Familiarity with the health systems in Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya. Additionally, familiarity with the Health Partnership model and the UK’s global health engagement strategies is desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills, including data collection, analysis, and synthesis.
· Ability to critically appraise and synthesise evidence from diverse sources (e.g., programme reports, academic literature, policy documents).
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing reports, policy briefs, or academic publications.
· Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders, including policy makers, UN agencies, regulatory bodies, academic institutions, development partners, and health workers. Competence in using research tools and software (e.g., NVivo, SPSS, Excel, or data visualization platforms).
· Ability to work independently and manage timelines for deliverables.

The Direct Marketing Manager at CBM UK is a vital role and has responsibility for delivering CBM UKs digital and direct marketing plans to engage and inspire individual supporters and churches to support the work of CBM.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as part of the Public Fundraising team, the role holder will be responsible for the management and development of two Marketing Officers. Through digital and direct marketing, the Public Fundraising team are responsible for raising over £3m of unrestricted income from cultivation, acquisition, mid-value donors, regular giving, legacies and churches.
Key responsibilities
Fundraising campaign management (40%)
Manage the effective implementation of the annual public fundraising plan, ensuring that all activity is of a high standard, and delivered on time and to budget:
a. Oversee cultivation fundraising appeals primarily carried out through direct mail and email, leading on the continued development of mass fundraising to engage both existing and potential supporters, including high donors, regular givers and church communities.
b. Manage and develop CBM UKs donor acquisition activity in collaboration with the Marketing Officer (Acquisition), using channels such as social media, magazine inserts, press advertising, email and telephone.
c. Oversee the delivery of CBM UKs legacy and in-memoriam giving plans and campaigns.
d. Identify and consider new income streams and broaden the channels used currently for direct response campaigns to reach an agreed balance of long-term value versus risk.
Digital marketing (40%)

As an Accountability & Learning Officer, alongside your efforts to contribute to our learning and growth, you will shape our work to influence key policy agendas. Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside colleagues at The Housing Network to support individuals and families (including individuals over 18’s, families, and prison leavers) as they move into temporary accommodation.
- Facilitate connections for beneficiaries within the local community in Leicester, helping them build support networks.
- Signpost beneficiaries to relevant external support agencies and services to address their diverse needs (e.g., health & wellbeing, training & life skills, employment, financial matters).
- Collaborate closely with on-the-ground partners, such as Community Shop in Leicester, to ensure integrated support.
- Collect and maintain accurate beneficiary data and records, ensuring compliance and contributing to outcome reporting.
- Actively support the charity's social media presence and engagement.
- Play a key role in fundraising activities, demonstrating a proactive approach and a proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives.
- Regularly report to and support the Board of Trustees, providing updates on beneficiary progress and charitable activities.
About You:
We are looking for an exceptional individual who is passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. You will be a self-starter with a proactive approach, comfortable working independently as the charity's first paid employee.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A proven track record of working in a local charity, demonstrating an understanding of the charity sector, particularly in the field of homelessness.
- Confidence and a highly self-motivated approach, capable of managing your own workload effectively.
- Knowledge and understanding of the homelessness sector, its complexities, and challenges.
- Solid understanding and practical experience of safeguarding principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and their application in support settings.
- Experience in crisis intervention and the ability to respond effectively in challenging situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals and families, supporters of the charity and external stakeholders and funders.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and data collection.
- A proven track record in successful fundraising, with the ability to contribute to and lead fundraising initiatives.
- Proficiency in using IT for record-keeping, communication, and social media.

- Experience working with diverse client groups including families, individuals over 18, and prison leavers.
Qualifications:
No specific formal qualifications are required for this role, however, this is not an entry-level position for someone stepping into their first charity job. Relevant experience and knowledge are paramount. A proven track record in fundraising activities, demonstrating a proactive approach and a proven track record of successful fundraising initiatives.

We’re now looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to lead and shape the vital function that sits within the role. This is a senior strategic role at the heart of the organisation, whilst still allowing the post holder to stretch creatively. You’ll be responsible for building national campaigns, leading our communications strategy, overseeing our brand, and ensuring our message reaches the right people including the public, law enforcement and commercial clients and partners.
This is more than a brand role. It’s about driving real-world impact and action; helping people feel confident to share what they know about crime, supporting victims, and promoting positive change. Crimestoppers operates in a complex landscape of public safety, corporate partnerships, and digital innovation and so knowledge of the commercial world is key. You’ll need to balance creativity with accountability, public interest with stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
We’re looking for someone with strong leadership experience across marketing, media, digital, and strategic communications, ideally in a high-profile or sensitive environment whether this be not-for-profit or otherwise. You’ll need to be comfortable managing teams and budgets, influencing at senior management team level, and working across different sectors. Most importantly, you’ll share our belief that everyone has a right to feel safe from crime.
