Purpose of the Role
To coordinate Imkaan’s engagement with parliamentary spaces, campaigns, and influencing work. The postholder will support the organisation’s advocacy strategies, develop political communications, and strengthen relationships with policymakers, stakeholders, and the media to further the rights and recognition of Black and Minoritised women and girls affected by violence.
The Parliamentary and Campaigns Coordinator will lead Imkaan’s parliamentary engagement and campaigning activity, ensuring the voices and experiences of Black and Minoritised women and girls are heard at the highest levels of decision-making.
You will build relationships with MPs, peers, parliamentary committees, and government departments, track legislation and policy developments, and coordinate public campaigns to influence change. You will also work closely with Imkaan’s members to support grassroots mobilisation and bring frontline voices into national conversations.
This is a strategic and creative role for someone with strong political instincts, excellent communication skills, and a deep commitment to justice for Black and Minoritised women and girls.
Key Responsibilities
1) Campaign Strategy and Development

Support the design and delivery of evidence-based campaigns aligned with Imkaan’s strategic priorities.

Essential Experience

Key Responsibilities
Relationship management and cultivation
- Responsibility for stewardship and development of a portfolio of mainstream grant-making trusts, personal/family trusts, Catholic/Christian trusts and Catholic religious orders and associations.
- Responsibility to re-engage lapsed trusts.

- Carry out research on CAFOD projects and programmes available for funding/requiring funding and liaising with international colleagues for this purpose.
- Engage with relevant media articles, particularly in the Catholic and religious media.
Information management
- Monitor on a regular basis the funding interests of charitable trusts, income and expenditure trends, information about trustees, application procedures etc.
- Maintain up to date records of all communications with trusts and ensure that all information is recorded accurately on the database.
- Keep up to date on external developments in trust fundraising and participate in the Institute of Fundraising Trusts Special Interest Group.
Other
- Contribute to other aspects of CAFOD’s work where necessary, including engaging in divisional and CAFOD-wide forums, as agreed with Head of Team.
- Support CAFOD in ensuring an integrated approach to fundraising across our different income streams.

Summary of the position
Epic is looking for a Development Manager to support the activities of the UK Development Team to help us ‘make giving the norm’.
The Development Manager will work with the UK Director in our small team in the UK, as well as working closely with colleagues in Paris and Brussels.

Key Responsibilities :
With support from the UK Director, the Development Manager will work collaboratively with the Director and wider UK team and Development colleagues in Paris and Brussels to execute the fundraising strategy in the UK. The Development Manager is a key role in a small team, and will contribute new ideas, networks and results to help us meet our income targets and therefore create more positive impact for children and young people globally. More specifically, the key responsibilities of this role are outlined below.
1. Business Development (65%)
- Lead prospect research and outreach efforts to expand Epic’s prospect donor pool in the UK: monitor the fundraising ecosystem, conduct in-depth prospect research and engage in proactive outreach campaigns through LinkedIn, emailing, digital networking and in-person events. This will include attending early morning and evening events as required.
- Set conversion objectives and support conversion from leads to donations
- Identify and secure lead opportunities within networks and events
- Pitch Epic and its various Giving Solutions to potential donors, and build tailored proposals when needed
- Maintain high discipline and consistency in follow-up with leads and donors: use Epic’s CRM to build a consistent pipeline of prospects, as well as maintaining the database with accurate and up to date donor information
- Evaluate and monitor the return on investment (ROI) of events and fundraising campaigns
- Prepare compelling fundraising communications, materials and presentations for donor meetings and events
2. Nurturing & engaging the UK Community (20%)
- Contribute to Epic’s engagement strategy for current donors to ensure an 80% renewal rate
- Maintain regular touchpoints with a subgroup of donors through activities such as sharing monitoring reports, organising project visits and volunteering opportunities in the UK, and scheduling regular calls and face to face meetings.
- Act as the main point of contact for a subset of donors and answer their enquiries in a timely manner
- Craft and manage engagement opportunities such as UK events and webinars, including drinks, talks, breakfast events, and provide support to the organisation for the annual gala nights. Support will be provided for certain events by our in-house dedicated Events team.
3. Fundraising-related administration (15%)
- Manage donor-related administrative tasks, such as regular use of Epic’s CRM (Salesforce), donation forms, meeting preparation, minutes (where applicable), and
- Process all donations, using Salesforce and related donation platforms, in a timely manner each month
- Liaise with international fund vehicles, such as Myriad USA, to ensure all international donation commitments are fulfilled.
Position Requirements :

- Proficiency in French (written and spoken) highly desirable
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales, fundraising or business development role, with demonstrable experience of securing 5- and 6-figure gifts

The Epic UK team is a small but dedicated team. The role requires flexibility and a start-up attitude. This is a full time, permanent position, based in the London office with the opportunity for two remote working days each week. This role reports to the UK Director and will involve closely working with Epic’s global development team, as well as with the Engagement, Programs, Marketing and Communications, and Operations teams.

The post holder will be required to travel within the UK, for example to visit with corporate partners or to attend meetings in other parts of the country. Job Purpose
Our Business Development Manager is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on creating and improving relationships, expanding a product portfolio, and working across an organisation to drive impact. This role has a wide remit which covers our existing products as well as identifying new income streams.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a business development plan that maximises income streams, supports improvements in patient care, and strengthens our partnerships across the healthcare system. You’ll support tenders and contract negotiations, fostering relationships that secure funding for key BSR initiatives whilst offering tailored customer service and account management to our partners.
You’ll manage a business development administrator, who will focus on delivering contractual obligations in a timely manner. You’ll coach and develop them to build confidence in account management and sales. This role requires a creative, impact-oriented leader who excels in both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Please note: This role may require travel, overnight stays and weekend work, for example at our conferences.
Main Responsibilties
Business Development Strategy
- Alongside the COO, develop and execute a business development strategy for BSR that secures financially sustainable funding streams that support our drive to improve patient care
- Lead on market research, product development and product lifecycle management
- Support the Senior Management Team and Heads of Department to expand and improve our product portfolios to keep partners engaged in supporting our diverse membership
Relationship building and management
- Lead relationship management with sponsors, partners and collaborators to provide exceptional and consistent account management
- Liaise with and support internal teams with delivery to sponsors, partners and collaborators
- Enable internal sharing of insight and intelligence about trends and movements with industry partners
- Foster new strategic partnerships and relationships with UK and international organisations
- Open up new funding opportunities that support BSR’s strategic aims and activities
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and develop the Business Development Executive
- Support teams across the business to meet ambitious financial targets
- With the COO and Director of Marketing, Education and Events, manage our compliance with the ABPI pharmaceutical industry code and provide regular advice/training for colleagues
- Alongside the COO, provide support to colleagues on tender and contract processes
Finances and Impact
- Oversee BSR income streams, working closely with the finance team to ensure efficient financial process and cash flow
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring financial trackers are up to date
- Analyse data to ensure the business development strategy is effective, ambitious and realistic
- Provide regular reports to the Senior Management
