HE Partnerships at Unifrog
After successfully launching the HE Partnerships arm of Unifrog in 2020, we now support 175+ universities globally with raising brand awareness, inspiring the next generation, and developing a talented and diverse pipeline of prospective applicants. We also connect universities with teachers, advisors, and international school counselors through the Unifrog online community and in-person events.
Our focus remains on continuing to grow our global university partner numbers and building ever stronger relationships with our current partners. We are constantly exploring how we can develop our UK and international partnership offerings to make sure they are best-supporting universities in their marketing and recruitment aims, while at the same time making sure our student and teacher users have access to the best resources and opportunities possible.
There are three main areas of work:

Insights - We provide university partners with aggregated user data from the Unifrog platform to uncover trends at subject and regional levels, with the aim of informing universities’ marketing, recruitment, and portfolio planning.

Conferences, webinars, fairs, and other events - These in-person and online events enable universities to interact directly with our huge community of students and teachers. We’re focused on making them both useful and fun.

Content collaboration - We co-create written and video content for students and teachers to do with progression, learning, wellbeing, and careers, which all end up on the Unifrog platform. The content could be anything from interviews with an admissions tutor about how their institution is unique, to a guide on what career pathways are available after studying a particular subject, or a Course on how to approach medieval literature.
The foundational principle of our HE Partnerships work is that everything we do has to be useful to students and teachers.
The role and your key responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for the success of the HE Partnerships team. You’ll set the team’s overall approach, line manage the team, and be responsible for meeting our HE growth and partner retention targets. You’ll need to foster the positive and innovative team environment that we expect at Unifrog.
Here are some of the main responsibilities within this role:

Work with other people at Unifrog to continually refine how we make sales and better support our partners through our partnership offering. For example, you’ll work with our Data analysis, Marketing, and Events teams to:

realise requests from partners for new data insights and reports

identify insights and develop narratives for conference presentations
-
improve the events we run with universities
-

Work with the New Business Lead (HE & Employers) to design and oversee the execution of different prospecting campaigns, always considering the audience (university’s location, job role of recipient, university’s priorities) and tailoring each campaign accordingly.

You’ll need to assess which conferences, sponsorship, and other marketing opportunities we should take advantage of.

Determine the timing and key messaging for communication with our HE partners, and work with our Marketing team to deliver this communication.

Manage our relationships with HE network organisations (e.g. HELOA). Seek out further opportunities that help position us as thought leaders in the undergraduate recruitment and admissions spaces.

Line-manage the HE Partnerships team, for example:
-
Shadow HE Partnerships Managers on demos and review calls, supporting them to keep improving in their role.

Oversee successful partner engagement, auditing, and Matching campaign strategies led by our HE Partnerships Coordinator

Conduct Performance and Development Reviews with the HE Partnerships team. Support them with their personal development goals.

Be the point person for escalating issues related to partners at risk of not resubscribing.

To help you stay close to the realities in the marketplace, you’ll manage a small number of university accounts, and be directly responsible for their growth and retention.
Working together
You’ll line manage our four HE Partnership Managers (who are responsible for bringing new university partners on board and building upon the relationships we have with our current partners), our HE Partnerships Coordinator (who is responsible for tracking partner engagement, flagging universities of concern, and supporting better usage of partnership activities such as Matching campaigns), and work closely with other team members in our marketing, data analysis, content and school-facing teams.
You’ll be line-managed by Unifrog’s Partnerships Director for International Schools and Higher Education.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Community Nurse

Location: Christopher’s, Guildford and Community based
Job purpose
The post holder will be responsible for providing holistic care and support to children and young people (CYP) who have life-limiting conditions and their families as a key member of the community team. This care is provided in the family’s own home, in the community, and support into the hospices and acute settings.
The post holder will be the first point of contact for families following acceptance to the service and the nurse is responsible for undertaking a holistic assessment of the child and family’s needs. The post holder will provide high quality palliative care to CYPs under the care of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, using their skills and expertise in a diverse range of situations, autonomously and as a member of the community team. The post holder will have excellent communication skills, be a sound educator, and work proficiently.
They will work closely with the SSCH in house team, family support team and symptom management services to ensure a seamless and comprehensive service to CYP and their families.
SSCH care is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, the post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of planned and emergency care, including on calls overnight and weekends in addition to contracted hours.
Key tasks and Responsibilities
• Providing professional clinical leadership in the provision of palliative care across care settings for CYP under the care of SSCH.
• To work in partnership with the SSCH care teams and wider MDT, demonstrating excellent communication skills to ensure high quality seamless care.
• To ensure that holistic care is family centred, research based, and meets with all statutory requirements and adheres to clinical governance initiatives and best practice.
• Provide support to CYPs and their families where required through community visits to hospital, home or hospice alongside relevant external professionals from statutory services.
• Maintain an awareness of the multi-cultural nature of the SSCH catchment area, adapting care culturally as required.
• To ensure all documentation is maintained in accordance with SSCH policies, guidelines and standards.
• To act in accordance with the SSCH and statutory Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedure.
Clinical
• To be actively involved with the on-going development of the SSCH care service, in particular the community team, contributing to development through research, audit and quality improvement.
• Provide clinical support and continuity of care to CYPs with palliative needs.
• Work alongside specialist symptom management teams to assess symptoms and provide clinical feedback to form part of decision making under the lead of the specialist services.
• Ability to follow an agreed symptom management plan and liaise with teams to offer high level care in the home as needed.
• Working in partnership with all members of the MDT, encouraging and promoting effective team working from all disciplines within SSCH.
• Attend professional meetings as a representative for SSCH and provide proactive input to ensure high level care for CYPs and families.
• Coordinating transition to adult services when appropriate in conjunction with the transition coordinator.
• Ensure written communication and correspondence is used to communicate with external professionals and services.
• Form part of the community on call service in conjunction with statutory services to endeavour to offer a responsive 24/7 service in end of life care.
Quality / Audit / Research
• Enhancing the interface between the community team and user involvement into the development of the service.
• To share professional expertise with Care Team colleagues, providing support and training where appropriate.
• To work to the SSCH medicine policy and adhere to the NMC guidelines at all times when giving medication.
• Participating in audits with the clinical governance facilitator to maintain and improve clinical care.
• In collaboration with the team, producing and reviewing operational policies and procedures specific to the team.
• Attending the Morbidity and Mortality meeting and having a proactive input.
• To take responsibility for your own lone worker safety, support the team and comply with SSCH policy/practices.
• To adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct at all times.
• Supporting research activity through service user recruitment and data collection as required.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Facilities & Technology Coordinator to join our Facilities & Health and Safety team. You will be responsible for providing first line support surrounding use of the Imperial College Union (ICU) building and technology infrastructure, working closely with the digital systems function of the Union and College ICT to ensure that user issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Your role will act as a triage for incoming queries to the Systems team, resolving queries where possible and escalating to senior staff members and College ICT where appropriate. In addition, you will also manage ongoing tickets with the wider College ICT service desk, proactively monitoring the status of tickets and seeing them through to resolution.
The role will also be responsible for providing installation, setup and tracking of technology and physical equipment, allowing proper visibility of our resources for management purposes.
You will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of all Union spaces, promptly reporting defects, and arranging repair work as needed. They take ownership of shared spaces, including Activity and Meeting rooms, ensuring they are clean, organised, with suitable equipment in place and always ready for use. The role will also include undertaking essential maintenance, repair and improvement tasks to address minor issues or repairs. Reporting to the Facilities, Health & Safety Manager, and working closely with the Head of Digital & Marketing, the post holder will be a skilled user of IT with excellent customer service skills. They will be highly organised and process-driven, ready to learn new skills to assist the Union with service delivery.

About the post of CEO

JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategy and Operations
1. Develop, implement, and lead execution of the charity's annual operational plan and 3-year strategic plan.
2. Identify appropriate level of staffing, volunteering, ensuring that all staff and volunteers are appropriately interviewed, vetted, inducted, trained, developed, and supported to deliver against their objectives.
3. Ensure appropriate upkeep, security, and management of the charity’s premises, including all relevant contracts and payments.

New Routes Integration

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work across two schools in Greenwich, London. Our schools are shown on a map The Access Project schools on our website.
The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteer tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.
Role responsibilities
• Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
• Match students with volunteer tutors
• Monitor student attendance to tutorials and devise innovative solutions to encourage attendance
• Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
• Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
• Monitor the impact of tutorials, and intervene as appropriate
• Build and manage relationships with volunteer tutors to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme
• Manage tutor relationships and attendance to tutorials through weekly monitoring of systems, emailing and making phone calls.

Our programme supporting Higher Technical Education has big ambitions. Known as the ‘missing middle’ of higher education in England, we want to see the declines in level 4 and 5 technical education reversed and more providers emerge who can offer high-quality education and training to help people access highskilled occupations. Key to this transformation is the role of Institutes of Technology (IoTs) – collaborations between further education colleges, universities and employers – and we have been working closely with the National Network of Institutes of Technology to support their success. We are looking for a Project Officer to play an integral part in the successful delivery of this programme, as well as becoming an advocate for Higher Technical Qualifications more broadly.
This role sits within the small Higher Education Team at Gatsby, and you will work closely with the Project Manager and Director of Programmes to: develop and deliver a range of projects to support our programme objectives; represent Gatsby at external meetings; organise meetings and events; and develop strong working relationships with key partners.

We are excited to recruit a Community Organiser for our Bradford Parent Power project. This role offers a meaningful, paid professional development opportunity. The Brilliant Club will work in partnership with Queens’ College, Cambridge, Dixons Academies Trust and Go Higher West Yorkshire to engage with parents in Bradford. The parental engagement model used will be based on the successful Parent Power South London and Oldham Parent Power projects.

- Go Higher West Yorkshire is a partnership of 13 Higher Education (HE) providers, working collaboratively to reduce long-standing inequalities in access to, success in and progression from HE. GHWY was formed in 2010 and is hosted by the University of Leeds. We are impartial, not promoting any HE provider or course. Working with groups underrepresented in HE, we strive to overcome all barriers, misinformation and uncertainty concerning HE and to ensure people make confident and informed HE choices. We support educators and influencers help people into Higher Education, and by improving young people’s employability skills, help inspire a more high-skilled workforce.
Parent Power supports parents and carers to develop skills in community organising and advice and guidance on accessing higher education, empowering them to make change to support their children’s future and ensure their they have a fair chance in education and their future careers.
Working with us, the Community Organiser will:
- Support local pupils from underrepresented backgrounds by empowering their parent/carers to become higher education experts
- Receive community organising training from Citizens UK and develop transferable skills
- Join a nationwide community of community organisers making a significant impact on university access
Person specification
Time and Resource Management:
Essential
- Able to plan sessions in an organised and efficient manner and adhere to agreed deadlines.
- Excellent timekeeper, ensuring prompt arrival to meetings and 1-1s; well organised within 1-1s and sessions.
- Capable of adapting quickly to new systems/ processes.
Desirable:
- Confident in using digital systems for delivery of online sessions in parent meetings
- Experience of creating resources
External Stakeholder Knowledge and Management:
Essential
- Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
- Professional approach to problem solving with a range of stakeholders involved in the project.
- Awareness of role as a visitor within a school and parent/carer community; understanding of the other commitments held by professionals within a school and by parent/carers
- Understanding of The Brilliant Club mission and the Widening Participation agenda nationally.
Desirable
- Prior experience of community-focused work or hold a qualification at Level 4 or above (as listed here)
- Understanding of the barriers young people face to university access and some of the ways these might be overcome.
- Understanding of the current climate in the UK school system and some of the challenges young people and parent/carers might be facing.
Communication:
Essential
- Awareness of how to engage parents and adapt university style learning for a school setting.
- Able to communicate in a timely and professional way with all project stakeholders
- Able to take a relational approach to communication with parent/carers, especially in 1-1s
- Able to explain research accessibly to non-expert audiences
