Your Role

As Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving income growth and building long-term relationships with corporates, major donors, trusts, and foundations. Your Responsibilities

Lead and Inspire

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategy to grow income from corporates, trusts, foundations, statutory bodies, and major donors.
• Corporate Partnerships: Focus on acquiring new corporate partners to build a strong pipeline and increase income.
• Support Other Fundraising Leads: Assist Trusts and Philanthropy leads in building relationships with funders using research and insight.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and steward partnerships to exceed expectations.

The Landscape Recovery team was set up as a response to the urgency of the inextricably linked nature and climate emergencies. The purpose of this team is to encourage and facilitate cross-Wildlife Trust action on landscape scale recovery, inject the rewilding approaches into the work of the Wildlife Trusts, coordinate land management activities where scale-economies are clear and to substantially increase funding for nature’s recovery across the Wildlife Trusts. The team is developing a range of programmes where RSWT acts as a ‘collective vehicle’ for groups of Trusts. For example, RSWT is leading a programme of peatland restoration through the Precious Peatlands project. Opportunities for such programmes are increasing – the UK is at a tipping point where either wildlife continues to decline or we finally grasp the opportunities of nature’s recovery. 

About You 

Working closely with colleagues at the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and with Local Wildlife Trusts, the Land Management Practice Officer will support The Wildlife Trusts Nature Reserves community of practice. This role will focus primarily, in the first instance, on supporting local Wildlife Trusts to reduce their pesticide use. 

The post will help Trusts develop and share knowledge, skills and capacity in the realm of pesticide use reduction and, where possible, also across other aspects of land management. This work will support Goal 1 – Nature’s Recovery – of the Wildlife Trusts’ Strategy 2030. 

You will be a highly organised, collaborative, and an experienced individual adept at managing customer focussed relationships. You will understand the needs of the Wildlife Trusts and the context in which they operate. You will be an excellent communicator – proficient at running meetings, organising information and putting together reports.

The Careers Officer is responsible for supporting the RSB's professional development programme through administration, evaluation and development. About the role

Marie Curie is looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Corporate Partnership Lead to spearhead their record-breaking £15 million partnership with Morrisons. This is a completely unique and rare opportunity to embed yourself within one of the UK's leading retailers - driving income, impact and innovation from the inside out.

Salary: Circa £44k
Location: Hybrid, between Morrisons HQ in Bradford and home (between 1-3 days onsite, dependent on personal preferences, with travel onsite reimbursed)
Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week FTE or 0.8 reduced hours considered

About the role

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to help deliver SSAFA volunteer support to the serving community.

You will work closely with the Serving Community Manager to develop SSAFA’s support to the serving community through its volunteer delivered Serving Community Teams and the Community Volunteering Service.

Your role will be to ensure a safe and quality service is delivered by volunteers, and support them from the recruitment and induction stage through to becoming a fully trained volunteer.  

You will monitor and review the service, providing feedback on progress and areas of concern as well as statistical data to the Serving Community Manager.

In addition, you will provide support and supervision to Community Volunteers and ensure robust recording and handling of beneficiary data in line with SSAFA’s policies and procedures.

About the team

You will be part of a small innovative team working together to plan and deliver SSAFA’s support to the serving community, rolling out services which will assist volunteers in helping beneficiaries. You will work with all departments across SSAFA and with external stakeholders to raise awareness of the needs and challenges of the serving community and how SSAFA can help.

About you

We are looking for a highly organised individual to deliver volunteering support to the serving community. You will have a good understanding of the unique issues that the serving Armed Forces community may experience, and knowledge and experience of the charitable sector.

You will have experience of managing volunteers, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish working relationships quickly.

As a proactive and motivated individual, you will have good project management skills in order to prioritise your time, and plan and deliver an exciting new services to the serving community.

World Jewish Relief created the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK.STEP aims to support and empower people through a tailored employment programme that addresses the complex barriers that they face when preparing for and ultimately finding work in the UK.   

We support all people who have experienced forced migration, regardless of their proximity to the labour market, to develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment. We run STEP online and in person programmes across the UK.  Our work now includes specific programming for women refugees, Afghan nationals, Ukrainians and those who have come through the asylum system

We are now expanding our work to deliver (in partnership with the British Council) an English Language and Employment Support Programme for up to 4,000 Ukrainians and Hong Kong BNO status/visa holder (50% of each community) over the next 12 months.

In order to succeed, participants need more than just training and job search support. They need to feel connected, informed, and welcomed into the communities they live in.

We are now recruiting a Community Lead to play a key role in delivering that wider support. You will lead community engagement and outreach activities, help participants understand and access local services, and ensure that support is culturally appropriate and inclusive. You will also help build partnerships with local groups, promote volunteering, and run events that support social connection and reduce isolation. You will contribute to our social value commitments and play a crucial part in shaping how the STEP programme responds to local needs and participant feedback.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience in community engagement, outreach or partnership work
• Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by people who have experienced forced displacement accessing employment and of the challenges faced by people who are resettling in a new country and community
• Experience of delivering and supporting events, webinars or community activities
• Experience producing accessible, culturally sensitive written materials or communications
• Experience working with or within community organisations or VCSEs
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. 
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Confident writing skills (newsletters, social content or short reports)
• Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Ukrainian would be desirable to support webinar delivery and community engagement

We are recruiting Senior Employment Advisors to join the STEP team delivering this new programme, working directly with participants who have specialist careers. The Senior Employment Advisors will have expertise in one or more of the following areas of recruitment: education, accounting and finance, health, and IT.

You will prepare participants for competitive employment and help them to achieve their chosen training and employment objectives in line with their previous career. You will provide an exemplary level of support to STEP participants working towards a variety of performance targets based on the progression outcomes of participants including successful completion of training courses, voluntary and work placements, and achieving and sustaining paid employment. 

The Senior Employment Advisors will work remotely and can be based anywhere in the UK.

About you

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Proven experience or knowledge within the employment sector
• Experience of support and recruitment into one or more of the following sectors: education, accounting and finance, health, and IT.
• Understanding of the issues and challenges faced by unemployed people to finding work, including those whose first language is not English
• Knowledge of adult learning/vocational training
• Experience of delivering 1:1 advice and guidance and supervising a case load of clients
• Experience delivering workshop activities around job search, work readiness and information, advice and guidance
• Experience of business engagement/intervention to facilitate access to placement and job opportunities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Cross-cultural sensitivity
• Good admin and IT skills (CRM database, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Advanced level of English
• Competency in Cantonese or Ukrainian would be desirable
