The Diocese of Rochester is seeking a Community Engagement and Social Action Adviser to join our dynamic team supporting parishes as they respond to the needs of their communities. You’ll work to equip churches to live out the third and fourth Marks of Mission—responding to human need and transforming unjust structures—enabling local Christian communities to show God’s love in action.

About the Role

Reporting to the Lead Community Engagement and Social Action (CESA) Adviser, you’ll play a key part in helping churches understand their local contexts and develop impactful responses to social needs. You’ll support parishes in accessing data, funding opportunities, and partnerships, while also helping grow volunteer-led community initiatives across the Diocese.

Your key responsibilities will include;

· Planning and supporting the delivery of diocesan community engagement and social action initiatives

· Taking the lead on key social issues affecting local communities

· Offering advice and signposting on funding, partnerships, and best practice

· Developing and analysing local demographic data to inform parish strategy

· Coordinating and expanding community networks across the Diocese

· Encouraging and equipping parish volunteers and community hubs

· Building strong relationships with parishes and external partner organisations

· Acting as a bridge between local churches and wider community stakeholders

You will be a visible and supportive presence across the Diocese—helping churches to connect deeply with their communities and respond with creativity, compassion, and confidence.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

· A disciple of Jesus with a deep commitment to faith in action and social justice

· Experienced in community engagement, social action or voluntary sector work

· A skilled communicator who is approachable, encouraging, and adaptable

· A natural networker who can build strong partnerships across sectors

· Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects

· Experienced in project coordination and working with volunteers

· Comfortable analysing and presenting data to support local planning

· Confident using Microsoft Office and digital communication tools

Desirable: Bid-writing experience, and familiarity with Church of England parish structures and contexts.

There is an Occupational Requirement (OR) for the postholder to be a communicant member of the Church of England (or a Church in communion with it, or a member Church of Churches Together in England, Council of Churches for Britain and Ireland, or the Evangelical Alliance).

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Finance Administrator to support the administration of day-to-day operations of the Finance Team.

•    This role is key to ensure detailed record keeping is maintained.

We are recruiting for a Fundraising Assistant to join our North Regional Fundraising Team.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Base: Newcastle Hospice

Salary: £22,222 - 24,350 per annum, pro rata

The Fundraising Assistant supports the Regional Community Fundraising Team by providing administrative and fundraising support. This role plays a key part in building and maintaining relationships with supporters, volunteers, and fundraising groups, ensuring excellent stewardship and service. Responsibilities include processing income, managing supporter records, coordinating public collections, and assisting with local fundraising initiatives. The post holder will be the first point of contact for supporters and will collaborate closely with internal teams and external community contacts to enhance fundraising efforts. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with the public (in-person or over the phone) in a customer/supporter facing environment
• Experience or knowledge of the charity sector and/or fundraising (desired)
• Able to engage with supporters and families in support of their fundraising activities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills demonstrating a sensitive approach
• Good IT skills including Word processing, email and spread sheets and a working knowledge of databases

We are looking for a Night Senior Care Assistant with experience in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings. Evidence of professional development in dementia care is essential. You'll inspire care teams to provide compassionate, high-quality support tailored to each resident’s needs. You'll create personalised care plans, promote health and well-being, and ensure that the preferences and choices of residents are central to their care.

It is not because they lack potential, but because poverty stacks the odds again them. This affects their education, mental health, and their future.

​The Role

​Corporate partnerships provide a vital source of income at Greenhouse Sports. The priority for the Corporate Partnerships Team is to further grow income, with an ambitious target of £1.1 million in 2025/26 - a 30% increase on the previous year.

The Person

​The Corporate Development Manager will play a vital role in the continued growth and development of corporate income, with the majority of their time dedicated to sourcing new business.

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is seeking a Digital Content Officer to help us share the story of our work, inspire people across the county and drive our mission to “bring nature back to Suffolk”, and vision of a ““A Wilder Suffolk where nature is thriving and abundant because everyone is doing more to help”. This role is central to how we communicate our impact and connect people with wildlife, ensuring that our voice for nature is clear, compelling and far-reaching.

As a Digital Content Officer, you will be part of the Marketing & Communications team, working across departments to gather stories and create engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences. You will lead on digital communications, including managing our social media accounts, website, and e-newsletters, and play a key role in delivering inspiring campaigns that encourage more people to take action for wildlife and support the charity.

Your work will include planning, creating and publishing content such as videos, images, graphics and written stories that showcase the Trust’s impact and celebrate Suffolk’s wildlife and landscapes. About this key role

Our successful candidate will focus on supporting the delivery of trauma-informed, co-produced, and developmentally appropriate interventions across Poverty and VEX services.  You will be expected to build strong local partnerships with statutory and voluntary agencies, representing St Giles in regional networks and multi-agency forums, plus provide line management, supervision, and coaching to up to eight practitioners working across dispersed locations, which will also include acting as safeguarding lead for your team.

We will count on you to drive performance against KPIs, contractual outcomes, and quality standards, using data and client feedback to inform service development, and to support service reviews, audits, and quality improvement initiatives across both pillar areas.  Supporting recruitment, induction, and training for staff across the Wales and South-West region is also a key aspect of this role.

Women and Girls Network’s (WGN) Administration & Bookings Officers (ABO) have day-to-day responsibility for coordinating the bookings for all of our clinical services. They contribute towards the delivery of high-quality therapeutic work through the provision of an empathetic, efficient, and comprehensive service, ensuring that all referral/booking-related matters are administered effectively. This is achieved by working closely and consulting with various managers about any potential barriers to service provision and regarding complex and/or highly sensitive cases. This role is primarily focused on our Rape Crisis and Ascent Counselling Services and also includes providing occasional cover and support for other WGN services.

ABOs act as a key point of contact for the charity and ensure WGN’s centers are welcoming, supportive, and calm environments for all users. As with all WGN team members, ABOs are responsible for actively contributing to a culture that values and respects diversity, learning, improvement, striving for quality, and best practice.
