The Role

 We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive IT & Data Support professional to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will:

• Be the first point of contact for staff technology queries (hardware, software, connectivity, CRM, Microsoft 365, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve straightforward issues; escalate complex cases to suppliers or the Head of Technology & Data.
• Log and monitor support cases with third-party suppliers, ensuring timely resolution.
• Support the day-to-day operation of our CRM system, assisting with user queries, data issues, and development needs.
• Assist colleagues across the organisation with CRM queries, data and reporting requests, and member data analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and run routine reports to support business activities, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Work with the Head of Technology & Data to build dashboards and reports (Power BI or equivalent) to monitor KPIs and member engagement.
• Provide informal training, knowledge-sharing sessions, and guidance materials to help colleagues make the best use of technology and data.
• Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and supplier interactions to build organisational knowledge.
• Support compliance with data protection and IT security practices.
• Contribute to documentation of processes, FAQs, and how-to guides for internal use.

Essential:

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Experience working with CRM systems and handling data queries.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate reports and interpret data.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical and data concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams.
• Customer-service orientation with a problem-solving mindset.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of data structures, relational databases, and reporting best practice.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
• Experience with Power BI (or similar reporting/visualisation tools).
• Knowledge of IT security and data protection best practice.
• Familiarity with working alongside external suppliers or IT service providers.

What does this role do?
As Head of International High Value Fundraising, you'll:

• lead the International High Value Fundraising team, providing direction and day-to-day leadership to inspire and support the team in cultivating transformational giving. Motivate and empower colleagues to unlock major opportunities in the United States and strengthen our approach in other regions.
• partner with other fundraising teams across Dogs Trust and our international partners, World Veterinary Service and Mission Rabies, to enhance and align global philanthropy strategies. Identify and pilot innovative approaches to generating significant new income and building long-term, sustainable partnerships.
• personally manage a portfolio of high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and major donors, leading on all aspects of relationship management, from prospect identification and tailored proposal development to bespoke stewardship and long-term engagement that secures six-, seven-, and eight-figure gifts,
• represent Dogs Trust internationally, strengthening our global profile and cultivating relationships that increase awareness of, and secure substantial philanthropic support for, our international programmes.

This role is being offered as a fixed term, family leave cover role until January 2027. Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for Friday 21st November 2025, however, we may invite suitable candidates to interview for the role sooner. Interviews will take place on Teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be a dynamic, innovative senior fundraiser, with a breadth of experience across different fundraising modalities in the international context, ideally with some experience of setting up a new function. What you'll do:
* To receive enquiries in all formats and be the first point of contact to resolve or action/escalate accordingly.
* Support the Customer Contact Centre Service Lead in creating a "first time resolution" team culture when handling enquiries, requests and complaints; linking customers with relevant departments, duty staff and undertaking the necessary administration and monitoring.
* First time resolution of informal complaints and transfer formal complaints relating to reactive repairs in accordance with Look Ahead's policy and procedure to the Senior Complaints and Feedback Officer
* To provide details on Look Ahead's Support function for customers or external agencies to include Support Worker or scheme contact details and referral process.
* Receive and action maintenance requests for owned, managed or leased properties to include responsive repairs, void/empty property repairs, insurance, rechargeable, planned, cyclical and servicing works. Monitoring the progress of works orders to including updating, varying, and completing work orders
* Ensure repairs and voids process are updated on CX housing management system at each stage accurately and efficiently.

About You

This exciting role will lead on all aspects of the finance function, including managing a team of two, overseeing the production of year-end accounts in collaboration with internal stakeholders and auditors, and preparing monthly management accounts for reports to the Senior managers and trustees. Responsibilities also include stewardship of the Foundation’s liquid assets, leading the budgeting and forecasting processes, verifying monthly payroll prepared by HR, and ensuring the efficient operation of the purchase ledger function.

Job Title: Dual Diagnosis Worker

Location: Based within a residential service across 4 sites in Croydon. (Walking distance from East Croydon train and tram links). Unfortunately this service does not have step free access.

Salary: £32,000

Shift Pattern: 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Sunday working between 10:00 - 18:00. Hours may vary depending on service needs. 

About the Role

We’re looking for a Dual Diagnosis Worker with expertise in mental health and substance use to join our team in Croydon. Based in a residential service, you’ll support residents with mental health, complex needs, and dual diagnosis. In this role, you’ll use your specialist knowledge to help both residents and the wider team overcome personal challenges. 

You’ll use evidence-based approaches to support recovery, independence, and integration through holistic assessments. As a comorbidity specialist, you’ll guide the team in achieving positive outcomes for residents. Your main duties include:

• Undertake joint holistic assessments, risk assessments, care plans, and interventions to support harm reduction and minimisation.
• Set up realistic and flexible strengths-based support plans, working closely with colleagues and support teams to support and advise on interventions and approaches to meet individual needs.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis and assist residents/participants to access services which can offer alternatives to crisis support.
• Work closely with support staff and clinical teams to support and advise them on interventions and approaches to meet resident/participant comorbid, complex mental health and substance misuse needs.
• Support multi-disciplinary teams and the wider community teams with support, advice, signposting, and move on care planning. 

About You

We are looking for someone who has specialist knowledge on how to support individuals with comorbid and complex needs, with experience in interventions, and in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have practical experience and relevant qualifications, and be skilled in engaging reluctant individuals. You must be resilient, proactive, and a strong problem solver to build the trusting relationships essential for this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the legal charity ATLEU (Anti Trafficking and Labour Exploitation Unit), in a vital operational leadership role.  This is a role for someone with extensive operational management experience, ideally within the charity, non-profit sector and in human rights work. This role is line managed by and works closely with the Chief Executive. Objectives of the post

To lead and ensure the smooth operational running of ATLEU, with particular focus on finance, people, information technology and governance and compliance. 

To manage ATLEU’s team of operations staff including human resources, operations and projects,  finance and external bookkeepers. 

To work closely with the Chief Executive to develop systems for implementing and monitoring ATLEU’s strategic plan. 

Main Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Strategy

• Participate in strategic and business planning processes and play a leading role, working with the CEO and trustees to develop the strategic plan, ensuring all team members understand it and their role in it. 
• Serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) contributing to the strategic direction and day to day management of the organisation. 
• Develop and lead monitoring and evaluation processes for all activities associated with our strategy, including setting and reviewing annual business plan priorities and targets, communicating progress and highlighting potential areas for development and increased focus. Be a champion for embedding learning into the culture of the organisation and collaborate with consultants and staff to ensure there are effective monitoring learning and evaluation frameworks in place across ATLEU’s projects and services. 
• Lead and manage ATLEU’s operations staff, including ATLEU’s Operations and Projects Coordinator, People and Inclusion Manager and Billing Coordinator. 
• Lead the development and maintenance of organisational policies, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• To work closely with the Director of Saltworks to support the operational running of ATLEU’s  trading subsidiary Saltworks, through developing the financial and operational infrastructure and management of the organisation.

2. Finance 

• Lead ATLEU’s financial planning, management and reporting processes. 
• Direct, manage and document ATLEU’s financial policies, systems and controls, ensuring that financial systems are effective and up to date. 
• Scrutinise monthly financial data and produce financial reports for the CEO and trustees, including quarterly cashflows
• Prepare ATLEU’s annual operating budgets and financial reports for funders and oversee project budgets. 
• Ensure the year-end financial accounts and audit process is completed satisfactorily and delivered on time, ensuring all financial data and other data needed is provided.
• Ensure that accurate records and accounts of monies claimed are held on all cases  and liaise with the Head of Legal Practice to ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• Oversee ATLEU’s bookkeeping and legal aid billing and reporting and ensure all monies, including grant monies and training invoices are claimed and paid promptly. 
• Maintain oversight of bookkeepers and auditors, taking responsibility for managing relationships with them
• Manage ATLEU’s banking arrangements, ensuring that they are effective, secure and fit for purpose.

3. Office and Operations

• Work with the Senior Management and Operations teams to ensure that all colleagues have the operational support needed to do their jobs effectively; 
• Liaise with building management for both offices, manage any rent negotiations and any future office moves 

• Lead on the annual insurance renewal process, provide the required data and lead discussions with brokers to ensure good value for money on all policies;
• Support the Operations and Projects Coordinator to ensure that both ATLEU offices provide a safe and welcoming environment for ATLEU staff, clients and other visitors and that they comply with all appropriate legislation and regulations;
• Work with the Operations & Project Coordinator to maintain the Office Manual and associated policies and ensure that they are up to date and reviewed as appropriate and monitor compliance with those policies. 
• Oversee day-to-day operations including premises, equipment, IT systems, ordering supplies, procurement and workflow and archive management and ensure that processes are in place to restore functionality as required. 
• To ensure the most effective use of resources and identify areas for cost reduction or cost avoidance along with process and functional improvement, including developing ATLEU’s IT infrastructure to reduce reliance on paper files. 

4. Human Resources

• The Head of Operations plays a pivotal role in mentoring and supporting the People and Inclusion Manager across all HR-related matters, including staff wellbeing and EDI activities. 
• In the absence of the People & Inclusion Manager or when facing conflicting deadlines, the Head of Operations is expected to actively participate in all HR tasks.
• Support the People & Inclusion Manager with day-to-day HR tasks, processes and systems, responding to queries and problem solving when needed;
• Provide guidance to the Senior Management Team with regular updates on HR related issues as needed;
• Support the People and Inclusion Manager to review, develop and roll out HR policies and provide training to staff where required, ensuring they are legislatively sound, fit with our values and align with our strategic goals. 
• Oversee the coordination of the organisation’s volunteer programme, and explore ways to maximise the value both ATLEU and volunteers gain from the programme.

5. Governance and Compliance 

• Work with the Chief Executive to continue to strengthen the governance of the charity, ensuring that all aspects of governance adhere to best practices and meet regulatory requirements.

• Ensure that ATLEU complies with the requirements of all relevant regulatory bodies including the Charity Commission and Companies House and ensuring ATLEU is compliant with all compliance relevant to a not for profit legal firm e.g the Legal Aid Agency, Solicitor’s Regulation Authority, Specialist Quality Mark, Immigration Advice Authority and CILEX.

• Manage the Board, AGM and committee meeting calendar, ensuring well-structured agendas and facilitating effective decision-making processes with clear records of these meetings and management of actions arising.
• Develop and implement governance policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements and organisational needs.
• Ensure the SMT, Board and other parts of the governance receives comprehensive, timely, and accurate information to support informed decision-making.
• Stay abreast of relevant legislation and governance best practices, implementing changes as necessary. 
• Develop and maintain effective systems and frameworks for compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency.

6. Information Technology / Data Protection and Cyber Security

• Support the Operations and Projects Coordinator in ensuring IT systems function appropriately and securely and new systems are developed to improve efficiencies for caseworkers and for audit and research. 
• Work with the Head of Legal Practice and Operations and Projects Coordinator on the continued development of and improvements to our legal aid case management system.
• Ensure ATLEU has robust IT and cyber security policies and procedures in place, and oversee their implementation across the organisation.
• Develop and maintain the organisation’s IT and business continuity plan and update it annually.
• Oversee ATLEU’s day-to-day relationships with external IT support, ensuring IT systems function effectively and providing or facilitating staff support;
• Collaborate with external IT support on projects to enhance and modernise ATLEU’s systems, ensuring they remain up-to-date and secure;

• Take overall responsibility for the data protection obligations of the organisation. Oversee the implementation of up-to-date and compliant data protection policies including data retention and destruction, home and remote working, emails and the internet, and ensure that sensitive and financial information is securely stored and confidentiality and privacy is maintained. 
• Keep abreast of changes and updates to Data Protection legislation and ensure that staff receive regular training on Data Protection and Cyber Security.

7. Other

• Lead by example demonstrating ATLEU’s values, taking a business partner, proactive approach to working across the organisation.

About the Role

As a Case Manager you will strive to make contact and work on a one-one basis with perpetrators to pro-actively secure engagement, influence attitudinal and behavioural change and link to complementary services. To do this you will work alongside existing agencies to design a co-ordinated, intervention plan, addressing identified needs and risk, and promoting understanding of the impact of abusive behaviours.

You will work closely with the IDVA's (integrated partner support) to review risk, develop safety plans, and improve outcomes for all parties involved. This may be within the field of domestic abuse and /or mental health, substance misuse and offending.

The British Academy is based at 10-11, Carlton House Terrace, St James Park, London, SW1 – a Grade 1 listed building. We offer a competitive benefits package including a 35-hour working week; 34 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays; a subsidised canteen and an excellent occupational pension.

The Compassionate Friends - Head of Fundraising
£50,000 rising to £55,000 after probation | Full-time (flexible options available) | Home-based or London NW6 office | Permanent

The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is the UK's only national charity providing peer support to bereaved parents and adult siblings following the death of a child of any age and from any cause. With over 300 trained volunteers and a reach of more than 25,000 parents annually, our work is life-changing - offering compassion, understanding, and hope where it's needed most.

Charity People is seeking a strategic, emotionally intelligent, and driven Head of Fundraising to lead our income generation at a pivotal moment in our journey. Having grown into a half-million-pound organisation, we are ready to diversify our fundraising streams and deepen our impact.

About the Role

This is a strategic leadership role with scope to shape the future of fundraising at The Compassionate Friends. You'll develop and deliver a new fundraising strategy aligned with our organisational goals, with a particular focus on individual giving and donor diversification. You'll lead and support a small team, including our Events & Community Fundraiser and Trusts Fundraiser, and work closely with the CEO, Trustees, and wider staff to embed fundraising across the organisation.

You'll be joining a charity with a deeply personal mission and a collaborative culture. Our outgoing Head of Fundraising will remain in a part-time capacity to support your onboarding and ensure a smooth transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a new fundraising strategy, with clear KPIs and milestones.
• Lead on individual giving, donor acquisition, and stewardship.
• Explore new income streams including corporate partnerships and community fundraising.
• Collaborate with communications and support teams to maximise fundraising opportunities.
• Report regularly to the CEO and Board, and oversee CRM and supporter communications.

About the role

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for promoting youth voice, believes in the power of education to drive change, and thrives in a collaborative, values-led team. You’ll bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational delivery.

Additionally, this role will play a key part in the development of our youth offer and the creation of online resources for teachers and schools. As part of a small charity making a big impact, you’ll help ensure Ben’s legacy continues to reach and inspire thousands more young people across London and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

Youth Programmes Management and Delivery

• Manage the operations of the charity’s youth programmes in London including our two Choices & Consequences exhibition sites, Youth Ambassador Programme and other projects.
• Deliver inspiring, high-quality workshops and help train others by modelling best practice and supporting their development
• Work closely with the team to maintain consistently high standards across all our programmes, playing a key role in quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Take the lead on specific projects as needed, helping us grow and evolve our youth work in line with our mission.

Programme Development

• Assist with the review, shaping and strengthening our youth programmes by using insights from young people and service user feedback to inform ongoing development and improvement.
• Review, design and create engaging learning resources in collaboration with the Head of Programmes, including youth programmes and online resources for teachers and schools.
• Use feedback and evaluation data to support learning and improvement across the charity, and produce clear, insightful reports for internal use, stakeholders and funders.

People Management & Development

• Induction, training, development, performance management and line management for two direct reports (Youth Programmes Officers)
• Induction, training development and performance management of freelance facilitators and actors
• Work with the Head of Programmes to provide training to youth programmes delivery staff

Advocacy and Engagement

• Promote the work of the Ben Kinsella Trust and identify new leads and wider engagement in our workshops
• Represent the views of the Ben Kinsella Trust by speaking at public events
• Carry out any other reasonable duties in line with the role, as requested by your line manager, to support the smooth running of the charity

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in a similar/equivalent role in youth work, teaching, or programme/project management
• Significant experience delivering workshops, education, youth programmes or training to a diverse range of young people
• Experience in training adults or colleagues
• Experience of successful collaborative working with senior managers, practitioners, and stakeholders
• Experience of leading and managing teams, freelance or part time staff
• Experience of designing and creating learning resources and youth/education programmes
• Experience of programme and project management

Skills and Knowledge

• An effective educator, with the ability to empower and educate young people to achieve ambitious learning outcomes
• An understanding of knife crime, youth violence and other key current issues affecting young people
• Ability to work independently, with initiative, able to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
• Programme and project management skills with an organised and proactive approach
• Written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with the youth work, education and charity sectors
