About the role:
We are looking to appoint a Family Support Worker on a full-time basis (35 hours, 5 days per week), to deliver a high-quality family support service as part of our London & South East Team to families in the local area, at a time where they need it most.
Reporting to the Family Support Manager of the London & South East Care Team and working in partnership with health, education and social care professionals, you will take responsibility for providing needs-led emotional, social and practical support to families where a child or young person has a life threatening or terminal illness. You will enjoy responsibility for managing your own schedule, remaining flexible to the needs of the families on your caseload.
Having worked in a demanding and emotional environment you have a genuine interest in building supportive relationships and helping people; and having provided bereavement support to families, you understand processes of grief, loss and change - and how best to help others deal with its impact.

What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager, you will lead the development and drafting of River Action’s overall policy strategy as well as leading on specific policy areas. You will play a leading role in shaping and advancing River Action’s political and policy influence, working closely with the Senior Management Team, Chief Executive and wider organisation to develop and execute an impactful policy and advocacy strategy.
River Action is the Co-Secretariat for the APPG on Water Pollution, offering our Policy and Advocacy Manager a unique opportunity to shape the policy direction for River Action and also to influence policy development across Parliament.
You will also work closely with our public affairs agency who manage our daily Westminster activities.
You will:
Lead River Action’s development and delivery of our policy and advocacy strategy on sewage, industrial water pollution, and water scarcity
Collaborate with River Action’s team and external partners to ensure our collective work is underpinned by robust and forward-thinking policy analysis and evidence.
Develop policy analysis to support campaign, communications and policy strategies, based on a strong evidence base and a sound understanding of the relevant legal and policy frameworks.

Monitor and analyse political and policy developments, interpreting their implications and opportunities for River Action and its supporters.

About the role
This is a great chance to be a part of a service working alongside the Healthcare & Education Department within HMP Bronzefield to identify and support women who are identified as being neurodiverse or presenting with symptoms of neurodiversity and will be returning to the community. The Neurodiversity Lead will focus support on women with a neurodivergent need and improve their transition into the community, with ongoing community support; including collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop their support plans.
The Lead will work in a multi-disciplinary way, including attending the weekly complex case meeting and/or the Safety Intervention Meeting (SIM) as appropriate, they will act as a specialist member of the wider Advance Criminal Justice Service - London team, to facilitate a pathway for women with complex needs including mental health and neurodiversity needs. The Neurodiversity Lead will accept referrals from the Advance Criminal Justice Community team and prison services, and will create a link between prison and the community, helping women to navigate support services and to positively re-integrate into their community upon release. They will co-design a person-centred support and action plan with women accessing support, enabling to support them to address their needs and any risks. The role will combine a casework- based approach, along with a signposting and advice service for the women.

Purpose of the role
Race Against Dementia is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Senior Partnerships Officer to support the delivery of our ambitious fundraising strategy. You will play a key role in managing and developing partnerships that generate income and increase global awareness of our work.

• You will be the first point of contact for landlord queries and contractors.
• You will support the resolution of disputes between occupants and/or neighbours.
• You will be responsible for the maintenance of records which support the efficient housing management e.g. repairs and maintenance, lettings, ASB etc.
• To work in a manner that promotes positive teamwork.
• To take part in a rota of staff cover for drop in and programmed sessions as required.
• Demonstrate a commitment to client involvement by advocating client involvement opportunities, for example by actively promoting the Voice of Depaul to clients and holding residents’ meetings.
About You
To conduct this role we are looking for the following from you in terms of experience, skills and competencies.

Join us as a Senior Progression Coach and take the lead in supporting young people facing homelessness to build resilience, secure housing, and access meaningful opportunities. You’ll manage a small caseload while coaching and developing a team to deliver high-impact, person-centred support grounded in a strengths-based, therapeutic approach.
We’re looking for a confident leader with experience managing people, caseloads, and risk in fast-paced community settings. You’ll be skilled in safeguarding, partnership working, and driving outcomes—bringing energy, empathy, and accountability to everything you do.

Key Deliverables
• You will fully understand the requirements of the outcomes-based contract
• You will support your team to identify, record and evidence outcomes promptly as per contract requirements
• You will support all clients (directly or indirectly) to achieve their desired outcomes relating to accommodation, improved financial stability, improved social networks and improved engagement in meaningful activities
• You will ensure work is recorded accurately and in a timely manner on our client database, Inform
• You will complete regular supervisions, appraisals, caseload reviews and team meetings with the coaches you supervise and engage in supervisions with your own line manager
• You will ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times including ensuring that Safeguarding and emergency alert procedures are followed and managed appropriately, as laid out in Depaul’s Policy and Procedures
• You will carry a small caseload of clients and ensure each client receives person-centred, tailored support
• You will ensure every client in the service has a high-quality risk assessment and a SMART outcomes-based support plan that are regularly reviewed
• You will deliver one-to-one support in the local community and will occasionally facilitate group work
• You will proactively collaborate and promote multiagency working by leading on partnerships with local agencies including statutory teams, private landlords, third sector organisations and others, to support the wellbeing of Depaul clients in accordance with data protection and information sharing protocols
• You will be flexible, reflective and creative in your engagement with clients and personalise your support to them
• You will involve clients in the decisions made about them and encourage participation in Depaul’s wider community programme of activities
• You will work within the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and apply this to your daily work with young people and also within the team
• You will proactively engage with internal and external Evaluation teams to improve the service delivery
• You will work office hours but will need to maintain flexibility to meet the needs of your clients, which may mean working outside of these times
• You will undertake further duties as commensurate to the role, in line with Depaul Policies and Procedures and as identified by your line manager
