About the Role
They’re looking for someone who is dynamic, enjoys working with people, and is a confident communicator. As Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer, you will support their existing corporate partners who are making a difference right now. You will also take a leading role in building new relationships and inspiring more companies to help fund their growth. You may be side-stepping from another charity fundraising role or coming from a different sector with exciting transferable skills, such as project management or target-driven sales – ready to hit the ground running.

The Role

About the Role
This is a dual-role position supporting both the Finance and HR functions of the charity. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budget management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in finance who is looking to broaden their experience in HR.
What you will do
Finance
· Post transactions into our accounting software, Xero, ensuring that everything is accurately recorded and coded.
· Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, card payments and expenses, and organise a twice- monthly pay run.
· Perform bank reconciliations.
· Manage the accounts mailbox.
· Complete the quarterly gift aid claims.
· Support the Head of Finance and Resources with the completion of the monthly management accounts, financial reporting and budgeting.
· Maintain financial and other administrative records, e.g. fixed asset register.
HR
· Maintain up-to-date employee records and keep our HR Information System (Breathe HR) up to date.
· Support the HR Lead by producing monthly or quarterly reports from Breathe HR.

Flexibility
Our staff who live in or near London operate on a hybrid model, working in our office within South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Full-time staff work in the office both those days and at home the rest of the week, while part-time staff who live in or near London are required to work in the office on one of those days, and at home for the rest of the week. We also have staff outside London who are fully home-based. We would ideally like the Finance and HR Officer to work in the London office on either Monday or Tuesday (or both if they would prefer that) but we are flexible as to when in the week the remainder of the hours are worked, provided that there is a consistent working pattern each week.

The Youth Employability Service
CXK delivers the Ychnoouth Employability Service (YES) across East Sussex, commissioned by East Sussex County Council. We offer information, advice, support and guidance to young people in academic years 12 and 13 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), helping them to explore their options, plan and then take their next steps. We also work with schools supporting young people in year 11 who are at risk of becoming NEET. Liaising with a range of other services, YES is focussed on supporting young people to achieve their potential.
The Team
The YES team support young people from across the county, seeing them at CXK bases, partner venues or in community settings. The team assess and action plan with young people referred to the service, supporting them to understand their options and take steps toward achieving their goals around education, training and/ or employment. Working with a wide range of young people, the team approach is focused, creative and persistent, building on young peoples’ confidence and motivation alongside their skills and personal growth.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Skills and Employability Adviser (SEND Specialist)
You will support a caseload of young people aged 16 to 18 with SEND who are either not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET. You will guide them through re-engagement with suitable post-16 provisions and provide targeted intervention to those who have withdrawn from or not started their named placements. For young people with an Educational, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) in Year 14 and above, you may also offer short-term support through a brief intervention approach.
You will support young people at risk of NEET as they transition from secondary education into post-16 pathways. Working across the West of East Sussex with students in special schools and mainstream settings, you will play a key role in ensuring that young people with SEND —particularly those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)—receive the tailored guidance and support they need to progress confidently into further education, training, or employment. Your work will align with East Sussex’s Assessment and Planning Team and the statutory guidance outlined in the SEND Code of Practice. You will build positive working relationships through co-located working, and accurate input into relevant databases.
You will maintain regular contact with the young people you support, building trust and ensuring that casework is delivered with care and consistency. Your role will involve assessing needs, action planning, reviewing progress, and adapting support as required. You'll also act as a champion for SEND-specific opportunities and resources—ensuring young people, parents, providers, and wider stakeholders are aware of what’s available and how it can help.

Job Title: Data & Administrative Officer
Location: The Gap Centre, 42 Stow Hill, Newport
Hours: 28 hours per week (Part-Time) Usual working pattern: Monday – Thursday, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM (including a 30-minute unpaid break)
Salary: £18,345.60 per year - Actual (£12.60 per hour - Real Living Wage)
Contract Terms & Role Evolution: This role is initially offered on a one-year contract, with the intention of securing funding to establish a permanent position. As The Gap Wales continues to grow, the responsibilities of this role may evolve in response to organisational needs.

Job Purpose:
The Data & Administrative Officer - with Reception & Support Services duties will be responsible for managing reception duties, administrative coordination, service-user data handling, and frontline support. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of The Gap Wales and creating a welcoming environment for asylum seekers, refugees, and other service users.
Organisational Context:
The Gap Wales is committed to supporting asylum seekers and refugees in Newport, offering structured advocacy, integration programmes, and community-led initiatives. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that individuals accessing our services receive timely support and an efficient administrative process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Reception & Frontline Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact, greeting visitors and handling enquiries in person, via phone, and email.
- Provide frontline support by triaging service-user needs and signposting them to relevant staff, services, or external agencies.
- Maintain a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring vulnerable individuals feel respected and valued.
Data Management & Analysis:
- Manage and update service-user records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GDPR.
- Assist with data collection and basic analysis to monitor service impact and inform reporting.
- Maintain confidential records and assist with documentation required for funding applications and grants.
Office Administration & Coordination:
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
- Assist with event planning, volunteer coordination, and onboarding processes for new staff and volunteers.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and outreach materials.
Basic Support Services & Resource Management:
- Provide administrative support to frontline services, including monitoring inventory and ensuring essential supplies are available.
- Maintain oversight of service-user needs and ensure appropriate guidance on available resources.
- Support fundraising activities and project documentation, ensuring transparency in organisational reporting.
Salary & Benefits:
- £18,345.60 per year (Actual), paid in line with the Real Living Wage.
