Role Overview

Person Specification

• Proven experience working with major donors, this could be at officer/executive level and a step into a manager role or someone already in a manager role
• Full understanding and experience to work through the full donor relationship process with known donors and new prospects
• Having experience of successful 5 figure gifts is desirable, but candidates will be considered who have with experience of 4 figures gifts and who are looking for a bigger challenge, developing their skills
• Experience of working with giving circles is of interest but not essential
• Ability to work with agility in a collaborative and unique charity environment
• A proactive and adaptable approach with ambition to grow income from major donors, able to see opportunities for growth.

  About the role  

Based within our dynamic (and growing!) Marketing Team, The Supporter Marketing Officer will lead the planning and delivery of acquisition and stewardship activity for Legacy and In Memory supporters, helping to grow sustainable income and raise the profile of the RAF Association. Reporting to the Head of Supporter Marketing, the role will be the key point of contact for Legacy and In Memory campaigns, managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers. In addition, the role will contribute to wider marketing, communications, and engagement initiatives across the organisation. 

Primary responsibilities include 

• Lead and deliver integrated Legacy and In Memory campaigns across channels (paid media, direct mail, events), ensuring brand alignment and sensitivity.

• Develop and implement acquisition and stewardship strategies to drive cost-effective lead generation, donor conversion, and long-term engagement.

• Collaborate with marketing, fundraising, and trading teams to align on priorities, supporter journeys, messaging, and campaign calendars. 

• Plan and deliver intimate supporter events (e.g. remembrance gatherings, legacy briefings) in partnership with the NMA, RAF Stations, and engagement teams.

• Manage day-to-day relationships with agencies and suppliers to maximise campaign impact and ROI.

• Work with the Customer Engagement Team to enhance supporter experiences, particularly for legacy pledgers.

• Align Legacy and In Memory marketing with broader organisational communications, fundraising, and service delivery.

• Drive innovation by testing new approaches and tools to improve campaign performance and supporter engagement. 

About You 

We need you to have a proven track record in delivering successful campaigns and appeals in a professional fundraising, marketing or communications role. With an understanding of audience segmentation and supporter journeys, you will have the ability to translate the Associations work into engaging supporter communications. Up to date computer literacy is essential for this role as you will need experience of using CRM systems (we use Salesforce) for supporter management, analysis and reporting.If you are creative, proactive results-driven individual we would love to hear about what you can bring to the role!

Main duties of the job

The Charity Director is responsible for driving the purpose and impact of Frimley Health Charity (FHC), ensuring the charity delivers meaningful benefits to patients, staff, and the wider community. The role combines strategic leadership with active operational involvement, across income growth and translating the charity’s vision into practical initiatives and improvements. Fundraising Officer

We are seeking a motivated and creative fundraiser to join a UK conservation charity part time and build meaningful supporter relationships.

Position: Fundraising Officer

Salary: £30,000 to £34,000 pro rata, starting salary up to £32,100 depending on experience

Location: Remote with a monthly co-working day in Diss, Norfolk (travel expenses paid)

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow individual giving for a specialist conservation charity dedicated to protecting the UK’s wild songbird populations. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Fundraising and Grants Manager is accountable for:

Fundraising Strategy & Planning

• Design, deliver and monitor a values-aligned fundraising strategy, with a primary focus on trusts and foundations.

• Set annual income targets, track progress against goals, and report performance to senior leadership and trustees.

• Identify new income opportunities to support Bite Back’s strategic growth and impact.

• Develop and maintain a 12–24 month grant pipeline to forecast income and manage funding cycles.

Grants from Trusts and Foundations

The Head of Development and Communications plays a pivotal role in driving In2scienceUK’s mission to change lives by opening doors to STEM degrees and careers for young people from lower socio-economic backgrounds. 

As a senior leader, you will shape and deliver a bold, integrated development and communications strategy that brings our mission to life, tells powerful stories of change, and inspires confidence and commitment from donors, partners, and key stakeholders that unlocks new opportunities for innovation and expansion.

In this role, you will manage a small, high-performing team and oversee the creation of compelling narratives and effective engagement strategies that inspire donors, partners, alumni, and key stakeholders, supporting a resilient and diversified income portfolio.

Working closely with programme teams, you will ensure that development and communications activity amplifies the impact of existing programmes, while identifying and developing new opportunities that deliver meaningful outcomes for young people across the UK.

You will drive the development of strategic partnerships and funding relationships to expand the reach and influence of In2science’s work. Responsibilities 

Development

• To collaborate with the senior leadership team and trustees in setting organisational strategy and building strategic partnerships to support In2science’s vision for 2026 and beyond.

• Lead on planning, implementation and delivery of segmented fundraising and stewardship campaigns across programmes and audiences with a 2026 income target of £1.5m. 

• Lead and manage a diverse fundraising portfolio, including corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, research grants (e.g., UKRI), government funding, and individual giving.

• To lead a small but effective development team, including an external fundraising contractor to build upon our success to date to achieve funding targets and foster strategic relationships with funding and delivery partners.

• Budget and resource all aspects of development and communications, including engaging with external contractors to maximise our output and upskill our teams.

This is an exciting time to join our Development and Alumni engagement team. The role of Senior Development Executive – Foundations and Corporations will support the University to establish and grow new philanthropic relationships with charitable trusts, foundations and corporations across a range of subject areas and themes, from global health and climate change, to civil society and the role of AI. Funding secured will support capital projects, academic posts, innovative research and enable talented students to undertake further studies at Oxford. To achieve this, you will have the support of excellent colleagues across DAE as well as wider academic, departmental and professional service staff at Oxford.

About you

You are an experienced philanthropic fundraiser with a strong track record of securing major gifts, a confident approach and the ability to think creatively. Your ability to build rapport and relationships swiftly will enable you to lead on major gift fundraising (securing donations of £500k-£1m+), working with a range of donors (corporates, trusts and foundations). Your ability to establish credibility and foster trust across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success. Your strong experience of building philanthropic partnerships with organisation donors will be key. Experience of work in higher education is desirable. About the Role

This is a hands-on and rewarding role where you will lead the day-to-day delivery of major donor fundraising and help grow legacy giving. Working closely with the Development Director, senior leaders and trustees, you will oversee the major donor pipeline, build strong and meaningful relationships, and deliver personalised supporter experiences that inspire long term commitment.
