Edward Gibbons House is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Substance Misuse Worker to support our amazing residents.
Providence Row Housing Association has been helping homeless people in East London since 1860. We provide social housing along with excellent services that aim to support homeless people with complex needs and enable their recovery. We remain committed to our East London roots and currently serve the communities in Tower Hamlets, Hackney and the City of London.
Our Senior Substance Misuse Worker works alongside members of the support team to create a safe and welcoming environment within a psychologically informed environment. You will contribute to the development of the recovery hub, by providing expertise in alcohol and drug misuse. Taking a lead role in delivering training/ advising staff on substance misuse issues, liaison with substance misuse agencies, facilitating multidisciplinary case conferences and negotiating access to detox and treatment services. Carrying out assessments of drug and alcohol usage with key clients, delivering brief and extended interventions, outlining risks, advice on harm minimisation and refer to specialist agencies.
You will also conduct surveys of residents view and opinions, assist with audits and reporting on the service, help to ensure compliance with regulation and best practice, and work with a Support Team which promotes person centred coproduced approaches.
You need to have experience of working with homeless people with complex needs, have a good understanding of strengths, needs, and risks they experience. Be competent with computer systems, and comfortable completing regular performance reports. The Senior Substance Misuse Worker is a day shift based role with evening and weekend working.

Supported Housing Manager
Treasures Foundation offers accommodation and outreach to vulnerable women who have backgrounds of addiction, trauma, mental health and the criminal justice system. We provide housing and support until women can make the transition into their own homes, with some long-arm support extending beyond this period.
The Area Manager will work alongside the COO and CEO to help develop and manage the existing service as well as a new detox provision. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Providing guidance to Specialist Support Manager, Project workers and Volunteers to support their professional development, ensuring that the service is run professionally, efficiently and effectively.
· Fostering a holistic approach to supporting staffs needs, through supervision and appraisals.
· Seeking and highlighting opportunities for change at project/ organisational level
· Creating and developing a group programme which meets the needs of the women and aims of the project, such as effective communication and conflict resolution
· Planning and managing the staff rota and Out of Hours emergency on call rota, required to meet the needs of the service
· Reviewing and auditing the service on a continual basis, ensuring that it meets both the needs of the residents and quality standards.
· Ensuring the safety of the houses by managing challenging behaviour, through conflict resolution and following procedures
· Fostering good working relationships with key stakeholders
· Overseeing the individual tailored programmes created by project staff.
· Helping to build and develop relationships with outside organisations in order to promote the work of Treasures and identify opportunities to achieve the best outcomes for residents.
· Adhering to relevant policies and procedures
· Ensure staff update data base system and log reports
· Updating trustees quarterly on the service by providing a written report
Person Specification
Essential
· Experience managing supported living or residential care (ideally mental health focused)
· Knowledge of working with individuals with complex or challenging behaviours

· Someone proactive, confident, and committed to high standards of care and support

Treasures Foundation provides housing and support for women recovering from addiction, trauma, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We help women rebuild their lives through safe housing, access to essential services, and programmes focused on rehabilitation and long-term recovery. Our mission is to empower women to thrive in their communities and build a brighter future.
We are now seeking a Full Time and/or Part Time Keyworker to join our expanding Treasures team.
Key Responsibilities
The Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:
Beneficiary support
· Undertaqking key working activities including: referrals, risk assessments, support
planning
· Support beneficiaries communicating with them about their day or any difficulties that arise for them
·Take a holistic approach to support beneficiary needs, seeking and highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project level
