Job description
Would you like to be a key part of the Learning and Development team for a leading UK charity? We would like to hear from you!

We are looking for a Learning and Development Practitioner (Volunteering) to join our People and Organisation Development directorate and drive implementation of the RBL Learning Programme, with specific responsibility for Volunteer training.

Come and be part of the leading Armed Forces charity, making a difference to the lives of those who have served to keep us safe and protect our way of life.

Reporting to our Head of Learning and Development and managing a small team, this newly created position will see you proactively engaging and partnering with a range of directorates and services across the RBL group to ensure smooth operation of L&D activities. This will include leading on the development and delivery of volunteer management development initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Create, develop and deliver content for learning interventions for delivery as part of the RBL L&D Programme catering for both virtual, in-person and blended approaches
- Partner and immerse yourself with the People Business Partners and key stakeholders across the organisation to understand priorities and challenges, and to conduct regular learning needs analysis for directorates and teams, making recommendations for solutions
- Partner with the Volunteer Development and Training Manager to identify appropriate solutions, practices, and learning interventions to support Volunteer strategies
- Design, enhance and deliver the Excellence in Volunteer Management Programme, upskilling RBL staff to support volunteers through blended learning solutions
- Ensure that diversity and inclusion are central throughout the learning experience, collaborating with the Head of Diversity and Inclusion
- Support the Head of L&D with on the implementation of an evaluation process based around the Kirkpatrick Model to assess the effectiveness of learning interventions
- Manage and work collaboratively with the L&D Specialist and L&D Coordinator to ensure all L&D activities operate effectively with robust end to end administration processes that are fit for purpose
