About the Role

We have an opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to join our dynamic Communications Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with demonstrable experience who is ready to take their career to the next level. 

The successful candidate will spend 80% of their time working with our Trase team, focussing on supply chain transparency and sustainability. The rest of their time will be spent supporting the communications team to deliver great work across our programmatic and brand-building objectives.

You will support the creation and implementation of communications strategies and campaigns, write content and grow our audience by raising our profile. You will help manage our digital channels including websites, mailing lists and social media. You will also measure the success of our work to help us evaluate our performance and making recommendations for improvements.

Global Canopy is committed to creating systemic change, and we do this by targeting the market forces that destroy nature. The key audiences for communications delivered by this role are governments, companies, the finance sector and civil society. We are looking for someone who is passionate about addressing deforestation, biodiversity loss and the climate crisis with these audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of communications strategies and campaigns, working with the Trase Communications Lead and subject matter experts.
• Write communications materials including website and social media copy, newsletters and press releases, and proactively investigate relevant opportunities to showcase our work.
• Upload content onto our websites and be responsible for our organisational mailing lists through Mailchimp.
• Coordinate and manage digital channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube and digital advertising. 
• Track analytics to measure success and present opportunities for improvement.
• Support the development and management of key communications resources for Trase and Global Canopy such as image banks, style guides and service provider lists (e.g. translators and interpreters).
• Raise our profile by supporting our events strategy – working with staff across Global Canopy and the Trase partner organisations on a programme of external and public-facing events, including webinars.
• Ensure content aligns with Trase’s brand identity and tone of voice, working alongside design and content specialists.
• Be a team player, assisting work across the communications team as needed.

Benefits

Salary: £32,000 full time equivalent. This role sits within Band E on Global Canopy’s remuneration framework.

Nature of contract: Full time, permanent.  We are a flexible employer and welcome candidates wishing to work flexibly.

Base: Our office is in Oxford, with flexible home-working arrangements in place. Communications team members are expected to attend monthly meetings in Oxford. Further in-person meetings may be required as needed.
Holidays: 36 days (including bank/public holidays) for discretionary use across the annual leave year. Option to purchase up to an additional 5 days or equivalent of one week’s leave.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Psychologist to work with an innovative and friendly multidisciplinary team at our London Centre.​

You will line manage and supervise highly skilled and dedicated clinicians, in the service delivery of a range of NICE guideline recommended therapy interventions, offered to our clients, who are survivors of torture and organised violence. You will report to the Adult Team Manager, London and operate as an integral part of the London Clinical Services Team. This is an exciting chance to join us as we place survivor empowerment and movement building at the heart of our four-year strategy and work together to increase the number of clients who can access our services. It is based in a centre specifically designed to be a safe and welcoming environment for survivors and includes gardens and growing facilities.

About the role

This is a wide-ranging position, and your key areas of responsibility will include:

• To work with the Adult Team Manager and Heads of Clinical Services to implement FFT’s strategic goals. It will involve providing line management to paid staff and volunteers from different professions and disciplines and provide professional and clinical supervision to qualified clinicians and trainees in the service including, clinical/counselling psychologists. This role may also include providing remote clinical supervision to clinicians in our other regional centres (North West England and Scotland).
• To ensure that Freedom from Torture's clinical model continues to be fully rolled out, with particular emphasis on survivor empowerment and evidence-based practice for addressing PTSD and other mental health impacts of torture.
• Championing people development as well as influence delivery of evidenced -based practice, clinical standards, quality initiatives and audit-based services.
• To formulate and negotiate psychological treatment and management plans for referred clients and to provide psychological treatment, using a range of specialist psychological interventions appropriate to the service in line with the new clinical model “Pathways” (drawing on a range of evidence-based models for the presenting problems of the clients).

About you

This is an important role within Freedom from Torture. To be successful in this role you must have a high level of commitment to maintaining excellent standards of client care and service delivery. It is a key requirement that you must have knowledge of appropriate clinical standards and external regulatory bodies. You must also have sound financial awareness and experience of balancing the provision of quality care against budgetary parameters.

To be considered for this role you must be a Psychologist registered with HCPC and have qualified with a doctorate or equivalent in either clinical or counselling psychology. You must have professional experience of working with clients with complex PTSD and have post-qualification experience of using evidence-based trauma focused therapy models. It is essential that you have a clear understanding of the experience of refugees and people seeking asylum, both in terms of pre-flight experience and the experience of living in exile. You must have previous management and supervision experience and be able to provide demonstrable examples of how you have successfully led and influenced clinical teams within community or health care settings.

About the role

Background

The Minster Centre is a registered charity based in Queens Park, London NW6 that trains psychotherapists and counsellors and provides an accessible therapy service. As an accredited higher education organisation, we provide in-person and online courses throughout the week and weekend. The Minster Centre provides a psychotherapy and counselling service to the local community and has a number of rooms that are hired out for therapy, training, and events.

The Reception Manager is a critical and central role at The Minster Centre, providing a welcoming service to students, room hirers, therapy clients and staff members that is efficient and aligned with The Minster Centre’s Ethos. As part of this role, you will provide first-line support to tutors and students as well as undertake administrative duties crucial to the running of the Centre. You will also provide support to other staff members where appropriate.

Job summary

The ideal candidate will have previous administration and front of house experience to help ensure that all building users (students, room hirers and clients) are welcomed, that the building is available and set up for training and therapy services, and that the building is closed and secured at the end of the day. Furthermore, they would be organised, have excellent IT skills and knowledge and, ideally, practice of using Zoom. They will have the ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure. In addition, they will be able to work autonomously on various tasks and work well in a team. This is a great opportunity for someone with relevant transferable skills to develop those skills further.

Duties and responsibilities

Oversee and manage the Reception Team

• Ensure Reception is always covered by organising a reception rota that covers absence, holidays, etc.

General management of Reception

• Receive and welcome visitors.
• Co-ordinate access to the building, opening and closing of the building.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Order stationary and other supplies as requested.
• Manage petty cash.
• Keep the reception area tidy.
• Ensure there are adequate supplies of daily refreshments and organise catering for specific events.

Event and training support

• Set up for events and assist with special or evening events when requested.
• Organise and keep track of First Aid and Fire Marshal trainings.

Administration

• Manage the room booking system, including the processing of invoice figures in communication with Finance Assistant/Credit Controller.
• Deal with room booking enquiries and bookings for events.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming telephone calls, and provide basic information when needed.
• Undertake data entry tasks, or similar, in quiet periods.

Facilities

• Work with the Facilities and Membership Manager to source and organise suppliers to meet the various facility needs of the building.
• Ensure that the building has adequate cleaning by working with the Facilities and Membership Manager in communication with Total Clean.
• Conduct daily spot checks of the building and report any significant problems to Facilities and Membership Manager.
• Undertake small repairs of damaged equipment or fixings.

IT support

• Field/triage general IT Support emails with the IT Team.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues on site.
• Support tutors and office staff with basic Office apps, Moodle, Zoom queries (support and training can be provided).
• Provide IT support for tutors facilitating Zoom teaching sessions including troubleshooting.
• Manage tutor Zoom accounts.
• Schedule Zoom sessions.

Student support and progression 

• Ensure that students are enrolled on courses and set up on systems accurately.
• Manage the re-enrolment process between academic years. 
• Oversee the recording of student progression. 
• Liaise with and support the Operations Team in organising the annual Graduation event and ensuring all eligible students receive timely information.

In this role you will be helping to define the Professional audience engagement strategy and translate it into divisional strategies for your team to go out and deliver. We are looking for candidates either with a background in Legacies or Financial services, who have experience partnering and managing relationships with professionals audiences. You'll be solution driven and an expert identifying areas for continuous improvements and growth.

What will I be doing?

• Working collaboratively with legacy colleagues to develop, plan and oversee the delivery of the professional partnership engagement strategy

• Support the Performance Manager in monitoring and reporting on the growth and engagement of our professional network

• Work as part of cross-functional team to maintain our market share by developing a community of best practice in building professional partnerships focussing efforts and resources in areas to optimise impact

• Lead the development of the professional partner engagement strategy, working collaboratively with colleagues to oversee, monitor and report on performance against objectives and KPIs

• Working with product development teams, commission insight to inform new engagement tools and products for this audience

• Manage and motivate a team of Legacy Partnership Managers to enhance professional partner engagement activity and building on these relationships, where appropriate, to complement the legacy giving product strategies

• Work collaboratively as part of cross-functional team to deliver initiatives aligned to the legacy operational plan

About the Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the organisation. You’ll lead on budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

This role is both strategic and operational, involving close collaboration with our board, CEO and colleagues, as well as external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified accountant, ready to play a key advisory role in a small business and willing to adopt a hands-on approach when necessary. The finance team also includes a part-time finance officer and an assistant.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing monthly and annual financial reporting
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements

The Role
