Over the past 18 months, our team has been building a movement of support for young people across Wales, having a significant impact on their life chances and working towards the aim of inspiring every young person in the country.
So far, we’ve already reached 19,000 students in-person and are connected with a third of all Welsh state secondary schools and colleges. In 2025, we’re aiming to reach 13,000 more young people — and we’re looking for a passionate colleague to help us make that happen.
About the role
As North Wales Project Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in:
- Connecting volunteers with schools and colleges, ensuring young people benefit from inspiring talks and workshops.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with schools, employers, and volunteers.
- Listening and adapting to the needs of young people, ensuring our programme creates real value for them and the stakeholders we work with.
You’ll be part of a flexible, entrepreneurial, and collaborative team that works remotely across Wales but comes together for events, volunteer training, school meetings, and team meet-ups. You will work with the Assistant Principal Learner Services to define, articulate and
implement our shared vision and values of the college to support learners with additional
needs in achieving their expected outcomes. You will also work with the Dean of the
Apprenticeship programme to ensure adult learners with additional needs are supported by
teaching staff and in their work placements.
You will hold a key role in the college and are expected to demonstrate outstanding skills in
working with the leadership team, parents and carers, external agencies and learners to
implement the strategic vision of the college, working with these individuals and groups to
ensure we provide a high quality of education to our learners with additional needs.
You will be accountable for ensuring that exam access arrangements are organised to meet
the needs of learners, annual reviews are completed for learners with EHCPs, ALS with the
Apprenticeship team and work alongside the pastoral team and teaching staff to implement
and make them aware of training and teaching strategies that support learners with
additional needs, and that reasonable adjustments for these learners are in place. In addition
to help administer the high needs funding claims with the Assistant Principal and Finance
department and MIS.
Key Responsibilities:
● Strategic Leadership
○ Develop and implement a comprehensive ALS strategy aligned with the
college’s vision and values.
○ Oversee the effective allocation and utilisation of resources, including High
Needs and EHCP Funding.
○ Monitor and evaluate the impact of ALS interventions and initiatives, driving
continuous improvement.
○ Foster a culture of inclusivity and support for learners with additional needs.
○ Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to advocate for SEND provision
and secure necessary resources.
● Operational Management
○ Line supervise the work of a team of 4 Learning Support Assistants, providing
guidance, support, and performance feedback.
○ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ALS team, ensuring efficient and
effective service delivery.
○ Co-ordinate the allocation of caseloads and workload distribution within the
team and creating support plans
○ Develop and implement robust systems and processes for identifying,
assessing, and supporting learners with additional needs.
○ Ensure compliance with relevant SEND legislation, Policies and regulations.
● Collaboration and Partnership
○ Work closely with the Assistant Principal Learner Services, the Dean of the
Apprenticeship programme, and other key stakeholders to ensure a cohesive
and coordinated approach to SEND provision.
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including local
authorities, health professionals, and specialist support services.
○ Engage with parents/carers, providing regular communication and
opportunities for involvement.
● Staff Development
○ Lead and facilitate professional development opportunities for the ALS team,
ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to support learners
effectively.
○ Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Essential:
○ Proven experience in a leadership or co-ordination role within a SEND or ALS
context.
○ Be educated to Level 3 standard.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role: you will lead targeted, multi-channel campaigns while also engaging directly in the sales process to win new business and upsell existing customers.

We are looking for a Boarding Schools Bursary Manager to join our team. The postholder will have responsibility for leading and developing the Boarding Schools Bursary programme in partnership with Royal SpringBoard and will be the principal point of contact for IntoUniversity centres, the bursary students and their families, the boarding schools and Royal SpringBoard.
The successful candidate will quickly gain an understanding and knowledge of the IntoUniversity students recommended for bursary places and will develop relationships of trust with their families to ensure a smooth transition and integration into boarding school.
The role at a glance

What will my main duties be?
Programme Management
- To oversee the IntoUniversity Boarding School Bursary Programme including recruitment of potential students and ongoing support of current boarders.
- To prepare the students and their families for Royal SpringBoard and school assessments as well as reparing for boarding school life.
- To plan and/or attend boarding school taster and pastoral visits across the UK.
- To create a calendar of out-of-boarding events and support for students and families to connect to their local centre, including centre visits and community hubs.
- Work with the Safeguarding Team to promote the wellbeing of students and respond to safeguarding concerns (additional training will be provided for this aspect of the role).
- Encourage post-18 alumni to engage with the Royal SpringBoard alumni programmes and the IntoUniversity Student Associate Network
- Ensure Salesforce database records and monitoring requirements are kept up to date.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage the relationship with Royal Springboard, including reporting on KPIs and maintaining communication.
- To build strong relationships and liaise with the host boarding schools and the key staff members such as Houseparents.
- To provide support to parents/carers as needed and manage any issues that may arise sensitively, mediating between the boarding schools, parents/carers and students as necessary.

Vision Action, formally Vision Aid Overseas, is a UK-based charity, with a focus on fighting poverty by transforming access to eye care services in lower- and middle-income countries in Africa. The charity was established in 1985. Our work focuses on the development of services for uncorrected refractive error and primary eye health. Uncorrected refractive error is the world’s leading cause of avoidable visual impairment, with an estimated 670 million people affected worldwide. We develop programmes that integrate training, primary eye care, school eye health and facility developments into national and regional eye care plans, seeking always to be responsive to local need. In this way, we help children to learn and adults to earn so that they can provide for their families. Currently, the organisation has programmes operating in Ethiopia, Ghana, Zambia, and Sierra Leone.

Job Purpose
Vision Action seeks a highly dynamic individual for a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of an extension. The position is part of the management team, and the post holder will be expected to lead on the financial accounting, management accounting, and budgeting for the organisation as well as taking forward some strategic finance and operations projects as we expand our programmes in existing countries. The individual will also be expected to support the Co-CEOs with administrative, compliance and IT related tasks.
The position holder is required to comply with all of Vision Action’s policies and procedures, including Vision Action’s Safeguarding policy.

Functions / Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance
- Maintain a strong control environment, ensuring accounting records are complete and accurate.
Financial accounting
- Prepare annual statutory accounts in accordance with SORP 2015.
- Prepare for the annual external audit and host auditors ensuring the audit process runs smoothly. This includes supporting Vision Action’s country offices in hosting their respective audits.
- Ensure annual statutory accounts are finalised and submitted to Companies House and the Charity Commission by the appropriate deadlines.
Management accounting
- Coordinate the month-end process with the Finance Officer (UK) and Programme Finance Lead, and review transaction postings.
- Prepare monthly management accounts with cash flow forecasts, modifying the format as needed to suit the preferences of senior management and the Board of Trustees.
- Prepare the annual organisational budget and mid-year reforecast.
- Improve existing budget templates to enable straightforward and transparent budgeting for donors.
Support to country offices
- Collaborate with the Programme Finance Lead on a monthly basis to reconcile intercompany accounts, ensuring that reconciling items are cleared promptly.
- Support country office teams in fulfilling any reporting and financial compliance requirements.
- Conduct internal process reviews (internal audits) of country offices where required.
- Review the bi-weekly payment runs for the UK office and the monthly country office fund requests, ensuring cash flow planning is in place for these payments.
- Ensure asset registers are maintained appropriately.
2. Administration
- Support staff in conducting procurement in line with Vision Action’s procurement policy.
- Assist with preparation for quarterly Board meetings.
- Support office management tasks.
3. Other
- Review and develop existing policies and procedures (e.g. the Finance Manual).

At Unifrog, we partner with universities and employers to help them connect with our global network of highly engaged students, teachers and careers leaders.
Our partnerships allow universities and employers to co-create content which can be accessed on the Unifrog platform (including online subject taster courses and day-in-the-life videos), share upcoming events and opportunities with relevant Unifrog students and teachers, and take part in a series of events throughout the year aimed at providing students at Unifrog schools with all the information they need to make the best decisions for their futures, and create the strongest applications.
The Employer and HE teams exist to support each of Unifrog's university and employer partners to make the most of their partnership with Unifrog, and to secure new partnerships with universities and employers who could benefit from a relationship with Unifrog.
The role and responsibilities
As New Business Lead for Employer and HE Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in driving Unifrog’s growth in our employer and higher education markets. You’ll need to be target driven to help create a wider network of universities and employers to support Unifrog students from around the world to find their best next step.
You will be given support by both the HE and Employer teams but will also have the autonomy to lead your own campaigns and projects.
You will be able to develop your skills, strengths and interests. We always look to make space for our team to grow within the company, and we have a general policy of promoting within.
Your key responsibilities:

Design tailored campaigns involving emails, phone calls, webinars and social media, to target employers and higher education institutions in a smart and engaging way.

Communicate with interested employers and higher education institutions to explain the work we do at Unifrog and the partnerships we offer in a compelling manner to secure online demonstrations for our Employer and Higher Education Partnership Managers.

Be the first port of call for partnership/collaboration enquiries from employers and higher education institutions.

Analyse data from the Unifrog platform to inform your research around suitable higher education institutions and employers that we don’t work with but who would benefit from a partnership with us.

Working together

ROLE DESCRIPTION

- Support and hold PCs to account for the frontline management of tutors and lead tutors
- Resolve or further escalate tutor performance management issues that PCs have escalated as per the Tutor Performance Policy
- Ensure that performance management issues are effectively tracked and made visible to the CPO and work with the CPO and wider Executive team to resolve persistent issues

FE Partners

JOB PURPOSE
The Group Manager will have strategic management responsibility for all services delivered within the Housing Service. We work in Lebanon with Syrian and Palestinian women, and in the UK with women from all over the world.

KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance
-
Work with the Executive team to set and monitor annual budgets
-
Record all financial transactions using accounting software (Xero)
-
Record and track multiple restricted and unrestricted grants from a range of donors
-
Prepare and present quarterly management accounts for the Board
-
Prepare end-of-year accounts
-
Oversee payroll and ensure timely invoice payments
-
Ensure the charity complies with the financial requirements of the Charity Commission, HMRC and other bodies
-
Develop and maintain financial procedures and internal controls
-
Liaise with external accountants or auditors for the preparation of annual accounts and statutory reporting
-
Monitor cash flow and support the Director of Operations in maintaining financial sustainability
-
Work with colleagues to prepare budgets and financial reports for funders
-
Contribute to development of funding bids, with Executive Team.
Administration & HR
-
Support the board and senior staff to maintain and update charity policies (safeguarding, finance, HR, etc.)

Support the board to develop HR processes to ensure legal compliance

Organise and minute quarterly trustee meetings

Book travel and support with other logistics as needed

Other administrative tasks as relevant and appropriate
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
You will have:

Proven experience in charity financial management, including restricted/unrestricted funding
-
Familiarity with or willingness to learn Xero accounting software

Familiarity with UK charity accounting and reporting standards

Strong organisational and administrative skills
-
Ability to work independently and remotely and to communicate well in a small team

Understanding of good HR policies and practice for small charities

Understanding of or willingness to learn about other key areas of compliance such as data protection

Education Officer
Are you passionate about environmental issues, in particular nature restoration, climate resilience and biodiversity?

We are looking for an Education Officer based in Scotland or North of England, with the ability to inspire people to connect with nature!
Position: Education Officer
Location: Remote/Scotland or North of England (this role requires frequent travel and overnight stays)
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)
Contract: 1.5 year fixed term post, with the possibility of extension
Salary: £32,827 per annum
Benefits Include: 25 days holiday, plus Christmas day through to New Year’s Day paid, plus 6 days of floating holidays, pro-rata. Flexible approach to hours of work. About the Role
We are looking to hire a skilled and engaging Education Officer to join a busy team, supporting the implementation and expansion of an established educational outreach programme, which reaches children in Scotland and Northern England.
At present, this post has funding for three years from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, 1.5 years of which is now complete and we are looking for someone to deliver the second 1.5 years of the project.
The purpose of the role is to extend passion and knowledge of beavers into communities around Britain, to engage and enthuse young people and to reconnect (or reinforce) their love of nature. Using and tailoring current materials and resources, you will do so by delivering high-quality learning sessions within schools, community groups or virtual training sessions, sometimes delivered in conjunction with beaver site partners and their education teams.
You will also be responsible for supporting wider aspects of the programme together with the Education Team, according to the requirements for each country and in partnership with relevant organisations
Key responsibilities include:
· Deliver a range of exciting, curriculum-linked workshops, non-curriculum home education talks, school and group sessions associated with beaver release sites.
· Run regional events and outreach activities to expand engagement in beaver education.
· Network and build contacts and relationships with key personnel in schools, youth groups and community groups in order to create engagement with the education programme and expand its reach.
· Support the development of further resources, activities and events specific to the country and region, and deliver existing activities for group learning.
· Monitor, collate and report on work carried out, toward learning goals and impact reporting, coordinated by the Senior Education Officer to support the programme evaluation.
· Support volunteers and build capacity working with partner site staff in the delivery of beaver education programmes.

About You
We are looking for someone with experience of working with young audiences, preferably within a wildlife or conservation setting. You will have a good grasp of ecology and be willing to travel around the country to support learning education opportunities as well as being confident running sessions or delivering train-the-trainer sessions online.
Essential skills and experience include:
· A foundation degree level or equivalent in a zoology, biology or conservation-related field, OR; A teaching/education qualification or equivalent experience in teaching, using different delivery methods including virtual delivery. Both formal qualifications OR equivalent lived, voluntary or professional experience are welcome.
· The ability to communicate complex concepts in an innovative and engaging way to a young audience.
· The skill set to inspire people to connect with nature, to support teachers, deliver talks, presentations and education sessions.
· A strong interest in nature, conservation and restoration.
· Working knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies and procedures.
· Competent use of IT skills, preferably Google Suite, and high standards for visual content.
· Experience in confidently using IT packages for teaching delivery, including the use of tablets, presentation software and audiovisual.
· A full valid UK driving licence (you will be required to access remote rural locations carrying more equipment than can be handled on public transport)
· Resident in mainland Britain and proof of right to work in Britain.
· A place to store learning materials. We can offer storage support if there isn’t space at home.
