We are looking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to build on our successes to date and lead the charity in its pioneering work.
This is an opportunity to join a passionate, dedicated team working to make positive change across Sheffield’s communities and the wider region.
As the charity’s most senior employee, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the charity’s work. You will report to the Board of Trustees and work with them to shape the strategic direction of the charity in supporting LGBTQ+ young people.
You will bring with you a comprehensive awareness and understanding of the key issues and challenges faced by LGBTQ+ young people and communities and be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders and the wider public. You will also be a confident public speaker, representing the charity at events and in the media, and in the delivery of consultancy and advice work.
You will also have a strong track record of effective financial management, income generation from a diverse range of sources and monitoring and evaluating work for grant and contract funders.
In addition to all of these skills and attributes you will be able to bring your extensive leadership experience to the role, overseeing a skilled team of project and development workers and volunteers, and providing direct line management to our charity managers.

The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. The Programme Manager will work closely with the Programme Director to lead and manage key components of our mentoring programme. About the role
The Access Project is an evidence-based, data driven intervention. Central to our programme are the ways in which we use data to ensure each of our students receives the provision they need, to learn about how we can improve our delivery and to evaluate our impact on our students’ university prospects. We have developed sophisticated monitoring and evaluation systems bringing together data from a variety of sources to track students’ progress (impact management) as well as ascertain their outcomes (impact evaluation). We collect data on our students’ academic and socio-demographic background, their participation on our programme and progress on our bespoke university readiness scales, and their academic results and university destinations. We use this data to intervene in real time when delivery goes off-course but also to understand how The Access Project programmes affect student outcomes and publicize this impact externally.
As part of the Strategy and Impact Team, the Data & Insights Lead will be responsible for ensuring all teams have the right data and to deliver and monitor our programme in a timely and effective way. They will manage, analyse, interpret, and present data and information, most of it recorded on our Salesforce system, to enhance the quality of delivery, maximise the achievement of outcomes by participants and ensure that the project achieves the greatest possible social impact. They will also project manage distinct pieces of work ranging from system optimization to external reporting for impact-related projects and partnerships.
Duties and responsibilities
1) Ensure the efficacy of our monitoring & reporting systems
- Identifies required changes related to how we collect and manage data in Salesforce so that programme delivery data is available in the right format and at the right frequency to support decision making across teams and allow for accurate reporting.
- Make recommendations for changes to the Salesforce system in line with this and support the Operations Team with reviewing options.
- Support other teams to have the confidence and skills to effectively use our monitoring & reporting tools and processes for their specific needs.

Main Responsibilities:
- To provide facilities management to all YMCAES sites across East Surrey. This includes 5 housing schemes and one sports and community centre all owned by the YMCAES together with six family and youth centres that the YMCA lease from local authorities.
- u To manage a team of three maintenance technicians (full and part time), and facilities administration assistant and to be responsible for their training and professional development

About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager with a passion for relationship building and service sales.
