Head of Development and Fundraising – The Role:
In this part-time role (22.5 hrs p/w) you will be responsible for all aspects of fund raising for The Middle Temple and for the associated activity. You will generate the strategy, annual fundraising plan and then enact activity to achieve the objectives set in the plan.
We’d love to hear from you if you are an experienced fundraising practitioner who has built strategies and plans with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Head of Development and Fundraising – Key Responsibilities:
- To write the Middle Temple fundraising strategy and annual plan. Then, to enact the plan to achieve fundraising objectives
- To organise and run the annual calendar of fundraising activities, including appeals
- To manage the oversight of the Trustees of the Middle Temple charity and fund through regular meetings of these groups
- To manage, and keep updated, the fundraising databases and information sources required to enable the Inn’s fundraising
- Identify, cultivate and then apply to various funding sources, both internally and externally including grants and trusts
- Write funding applications where appropriate, monitor and track donations and keep financial records up to date
Head of Development and Fundraising – You:
- An experienced fundraising practitioner used to both creating strategies and plans as well as operating as a ‘hands on’ operator

- Strong administrative experience, ideally in a fundraising role, dealing with the legal and administrative requirements of fundraising including the relationship management of donors

About Bright Futures UK
Bright Futures UK supports children and young people aged 5 to 24 whose education has been disrupted due to serious long-term physical or mental health conditions. We offer online one-to-one tutoring, befriending, and mentoring programmes, as well as group programmes including hospital workshops, industry events, and advocacy actions initiatives. Working in close partnership with hospitals, families, and other services, we ensure that children and young people experiencing health-related challenges are not left behind.
Role Overview
This is a key role in the delivery of our online personalised programme. The Senior Coordinator will oversee the children and young people referral pathway, acting as the first point of contact for new referrals and guiding children, young people, and their families, educators, or hospital contacts through every stage of the onboarding process.
You will be responsible for gathering detailed and sensitive information about each young person’s health, education, and wellbeing, to ensure the support they receive is tailored, appropriate, and trauma-informed. Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records is a central part of this role. You will also line manage the Personalised Programme Coordinators, work closely with the wider Programme and Volunteer Teams, and play a key role in external outreach and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Referral and Programme Oversight

Our location

My client is a well-recognised independent regulator based in the heart of London and are looking for an Education Quality Administrator on a temporary contract for roughly 5 months, and they operate a hybrid model with office expectations on Thursday.
Your new role
The Education Quality Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support within the Quality Assurance, Monitoring and Improvement team.
- Administrative support where required for our quality assurance processes. This could include, for example:
- Uploading to our online filing system and formatting documents submitted by organisations, so they are ready for colleagues to analyse.
- Proofreading documents and uploading them to our online filing systems
- Proofreading and publishing content for our web pages.
- Administrative support where required for our quality assurance of new medical schools and programmes. This could include, for example:
- Processing administrative forms for education associates carrying out visits
- Printing documentation packs and ordering name badges for visits
- Preparing visit documentation so that education associates can access it online via our document-sharing portal
- Organising travel, accommodation and meals for staff and education associates attending visits
- Recording information about the visit on our online systems
- Administering our records to log and reconcile education associate expense claims for budgeting purposes
- Monitoring our quality reporting system in Siebel (this is the system that logs actions that organisations need to implement to meet our standards called 'quality items'), letting colleagues know when items have been updated by an organisation and need to be reviewed, and reporting on pending and overdue items.
- Meeting support for a wide range of meetings across the team. Support would include:
- Scheduling meetings
- Calling for agenda items and populating agendas
- Noting actions during meetings and keeping action logs
- Maintaining a forward planner of agenda items for our larger meetings.
- Administering and reporting on our education associates, including expense claims to support section budget forecasting, training and annual appraisals.
- Manage emails coming into the team's shared mailbox, liaising with colleagues to ensure emails and queries are dealt with by the appropriate person within our agreed timeframes.
- To understand and apply our safeguarding policy and processes for protecting children and adults at risk of harm (including knowing how to recognise, record and report safeguarding).
- Any other reasonable duties may be assigned from time to time.
What you'll need to succeed
- To be able to work within established policies and standard operating procedures with a high level of accuracy, within agreed timeframes

In-person conferences give UK teachers and advisors the chance to connect with top universities and employers, keep up-to-date with the latest in careers education, and network with the Unifrog team.

International networking events take place in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia to facilitate one-on-one conversations between university representatives and international school counselors, giving counselors the valuable opportunity to get tailored advice and guidance relevant to them and their students.

We also run loads of virtual events throughout the year for all our different audiences, including large scale virtual university and apprenticeship fairs for students.

What you’ll do
As Events Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the team to make sure all our events are delivered to the highest standard. You’ll be working closely alongside our Head of Events and Events Leads as part of our growing Marketing team to make sure all our events help students to make informed decisions about their next steps.
In-person events:

Work alongside the Event Lead, the main point of contact for Unifrog’s in-person conferences and events, to support the planning and delivery of these events and make sure they’re a success.

Play a key role on the day - lead on the set up and pack down of events and be an expert on the event logistics, on hand to support attendees, the Event Lead, and the rest of the Unifrog team.

Manage the registration desk and welcome attendees as they arrive, giving them a fantastic first impression of the event and helping them with any questions they may have.

Support with research and planning future events, including conducting initial site visits.

Support with writing and sending conversion and follow-up emails for events.

Draw on your own experiences to make sure that all our events are relevant and provide value to our different audiences.
Virtual events:

Work alongside the Event Lead, the main point of contact for Unifrog’s webinar series and university fairs, to support the planning and delivery of these events.

Ensure the smooth running of our university fairs. Become an expert user of the iVent platform – send reminders of session start times, spark conversations on the chat function, and solve any technical issues.

Act as a host for some of our events – run live sessions, field questions from participants, and facilitate discussions between our expert panelists.
External conferences:

Provide ad hoc support with the logistics of our conference equipment and make sure equipment and materials are delivered to external conferences and returned to the office in time.

The new Head of Prospect Development and Operations (PDO) will sit on the Development and Alumni Relations Management Team, using prospect research to systematically drive success in the University’s fundraising activity. The role supports all philanthropic and alumni engagement activity across the department. The Role
