About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.

Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our residents are safe, providing support, liaison with other professionals and completion of support documents to record information.

If applying for the Waking Night role, you will have the additional support of an on-call manager should there be any emergencies. Further to this, you will be involved in monthly team meetings and receive monthly supervision.

Applicants should have

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (i.e. Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People Workforce with the children's social care pathway) or be willing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years as per Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (England).

About the role

The purpose of the social media officer role is to monitor, respond to and triage social media enquiries across Breast Cancer Now’s social media platforms, ensuring our tone and messaging are consistent, clear and engaging. 

Working closely with fundraising teams and the social media and community team, you’ll keep up to date with current and upcoming campaigns and activity, ensuring our online communities receive an excellent supporter experience.

We have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the Connexional Team.

We are offering an interesting and varied opportunity to support the work of the Connexional Team and the wider Methodist Church.

• Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms and software, including but not limited to: Windows Server, Active Directory, Windows 11, Backup, Monitoring/SNMP, SMTP/Exchange, Web Server/IIS, Dell Servers and storage, Printers/Papercut,

• Experience in server administration, database administration and application support.

Healthwatch City of London are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced communications and engagement officer to ensure that the patient and service users voice is at the heart of Health and Social Care decision making.  The successful candidate will drive engagement with the local community, creating visibility of our work to residents and partners. Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, you will be required to attend the Hatfield office once a week and monthly directorate meetings. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

As a Refuge Worker, you will be responsible for delivering practical and emotional support to residents, ensuring their safety and wellbeing while they rebuild their lives. Key duties include conducting risk assessments, safety planning, supporting access to benefits and housing, liaising with external agencies, and maintaining accurate case records. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, resilient, and highly organised, with experience of working in a support or advocacy role, ideally within the domestic abuse or safeguarding sector.

The Communications team currently consists of the Senior Communications Manager. The Communications team has oversight over all areas of organisational communications including the website and digital communications, branding, media relations and production of content. The Communications team works closely with other staff members across Conciliation Resources to provide specialist support and advice to colleagues and partners, and to develop and implement strategies.
