Gulab Sorkh Foundation (GSF) is an independent charity supporting former members of the Afghan security forces and their families, who have come to the UK under the Government’s Afghan Relocation and Assistance Policy (ARAP). Our mission is to help these individuals rebuild their lives, access support, and integrate fully into British society. 

We have recently been awarded new funding under the Communities for Afghans (CfA) Phase 2 programme. This funding allows us to expand our work supporting Afghan families through Sponsor Groups, which is why we are growing our team to ensure we can provide high-quality support to all participants. 

About the Role 

You will be the driving force behind the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing engagement of Sponsor Groups. Success in this role depends on your ability to inspire, motivate and sustain long-term commitment from these groups, ensuring they are confident, supported, and fully equipped to welcome Afghan households. 

You will contribute to developing innovative strategues to attract new Sponsor Groups, maintain strong engagement, and address challenges proactively, ensuring a high-performing network across the UK. 

This is a busy and varied role, combining community engagement with strategic partnership. You will play a key role in shaping GSF’s growing national programme, ensuring our families receive the care and opportunities they need to thrive in the UK.  We are looking for someone who is proactive and highly organised, with a genuine passion for supporting refugee communities.

Overall purpose

The Employer Engagement Manager (EEM) will play a critical role in ensuring refugees supported by Breaking Barriers access meaningful, opportunities that align with client needs and labour market demand. The postholder will lead employer outreach and partnership building in priority sectors and embed consistent systems and processes that make employer engagement coordinated and impactful across the organisation. The EEM will support pathways, work placements, recruitment pipelines and workshops by ensuring employer input is actively embedded where relevant.

This is a strategic, hands-on role, the successful candidate will map and cultivate employer relationships, secure employer input into sector pathways, workshops and recruitment initiatives, translate labour market intelligence into programme improvements, and design the operational processes that enable Programmes and Corporate Partnerships to work together effectively. You will operate in a matrix environment, collaborating closely with the Programmes, Corporate Partnerships and Client Services teams but will not hold direct line-management of delivery staff.

The role is set up to be ambitious but achievable within 12 months. The priority is to build tested, repeatable employer engagement practice (relationships, processes, insight-sharing and measurable impact) that can form the foundations of a permanent employer engagement function if/when funding allows.

We are looking to recruit two people to join a mission-led organisation, supporting a friendly and dynamic team.

The Implementation Specialist role is ideal for ambitious, client-focused individuals, passionate about improving services.

It is an exciting time to join the organisation! The team are testing out new ways of working internally to streamline some of the administrative tasks away from this role, piloting new ways to support clients and even redesigning the training!

Position: Training and Implementation Specialist

Location: Remote (national travel with occasional overnight stays required)

Hours: Part-time, 28-35 hours per week

Salary: £38,972 pro rata

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: Between 8th Dec – 5th Jan TBC with candidate

Close Date: Midday Monday 3rd Nov. The team will be in touch with successful candidates by 7th Nov. At this stage they will send you a task which is expected to take no more than 3 hours.

First interviews: 18th Nov, near London Victoria station. Travel will be reimbursed.

Second interviews: Online, Wednesday 19th or Thursday 20th Nov (short, informal chart). Aiming for final decision is 21st November.

About the Role

You will play a vital role in supporting organisations to embed the Outcomes Star into their practice. This means helping clients make the best possible use of the Star through training, advice and practical support.

You will be a trusted partner to clients by building relationships, facilitating learning and supporting organisations to use the Star well so that it can have the greatest impact.

About You

You will have experience in training, facilitation, and/or implementation support.

You will also have:

• Ability to adapt support to different organisations and contexts.

• Good IT skills including MS 365 and Teams.

 We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Employment Specialist to join our Workability team. You’ll support people with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, acquired brain injuries, and carers to find, secure, and sustain meaningful employment.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll provide 1:1 tailored support, help clients develop confidence and job skills, and work directly with employers to create inclusive opportunities through reasonable adjustments and ongoing support.

· Monitor networks/trending topics to ensure that the Coalition maximises any opportunities to respond to appropriate topics

· Provide analysis of the effectiveness of our content through regular reporting including key metrics such as reach, impressions and engagement

· Keep the website updated – including making changes to pages as well as building new ones

We are looking for someone with:

· Outstanding organisation and planning skills (E)
