We are seeking a warm, compassionate and proactive Extra Care Registered Manager to provide person-centered care and support to our services users. Being the CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of the four Extra Care Sites and which are supported by an Extra Care Coordinator and Extra Care Senior at each site.

Working in collaboration with the various landlords, stakeholders and local health and social care services, you will ensure that the highest standards of care and support are provided. You will ensure that the service empowers clients and meets their needs and preferences. You will work in conjunction with service users’ families and friends to promote a positive atmosphere within the service. The ability to work in an empathetic and holistic way in order to maintain orientation and independence is essential. You must be flexible, energetic and reliable. You will be responsible for the oversight of all four services.

About the opportunity
As our Digital Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marketing Manager and broader team in volunteer and school recruitment efforts, while managing our social media presence. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and curating content for Action Tutoring's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok.

Duties and responsibilities
• Responsibility for managing Action Tutoring’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and YouTube). • Support the day to day management of Action Tutoring’s website, editing content with updates upon request. Support with creating high quality, engaging content for the Action Tutoring website to ensure it’s optimised.
• Create external marketing materials on request and support with ad-hoc visual design work.
• Support with the attendance at volunteering promotion events, mainly university fairs.
• Any other duties deemed reasonable by the Chief Executive Officer.

About the job

We are seeking a confident and experienced Modern Slavery Case Worker Assistant with a wide range of skills and importantly, a ‘can do’ approach. As a Modern Slavery Case Worker Assistant, you will provide high quality practical and emotional support to potential victims of modern slavery within a safehouse setting.

You will work as a member of the team providing a safe temporary environment for vulnerable adults who have experienced trauma and exploitation. The role will involve assisting service users with increasing practical skills and self-confidence to empower and enable independent and safe living.

This service is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Applicants must be willing to work flexibly, which will include on call duties, evenings, weekends and bank. Both roles will work between two properties approx. 4 miles apart on a Rota basis. A full induction and continuous training will be given.

The 30 hour per week post will be shifts from 4pm-10pm, 5 days per week, however, the initial induction will consist of day shifts until knowledge of safe house is comprehensive.

You must have experience of working with vulnerable adults, the ability to work within a ‘risk associated’ environment and ideally experience of working within a residential or community setting with non-UK citizens. Relevant social care qualifications or suitable experience of supporting vulnerable people is essential.

The job

• We’re looking for an experienced and highly motivated fundraiser to join Chetham’s as Senior Development Manager to manage the development team in securing over £600k of income per annum across Chetham’s School of Music, Library and The Stoller Hall. • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years fundraising experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence working with a range of different stakeholders. Experience working in a similar arts organisation with a track record of securing five-figure gifts and a knowledge of database systems is highly desirable.

You will work proactively with service users who have been homeless and have complex needs to sustain their tenancies and move on into independent living.

• To contribute to the planning and evaluation of resources within our three key areas of work: Teaching with Film, Careers and Progression, and Filmmaking
• To project manage the resource process from initiation to publication or delivery.
• To assist the corporate partnerships team by contributing to pitches for educational resources with partners to support new film releases. 
• To contribute to the development of courses aimed at educators via our online learning platform.
• To evaluate resources, training, online materials and related areas of organisational interest through surveys, focus groups and other methods, to identify and implement changes and programme developments that meet Into Film’s and our audiences’ needs and priorities.
• To develop, with the rest of the team, reliable quality assurance processes and documentation for our resources, training and online programmes.

Person Specification

Minimum Requirements

• A minimum of two years’ experience of teaching in the UK.
• Experience of creating resources which include moving image/film.
• Knowledge of the educational landscape across all four UK nations.
• Demonstrable creativity and commitment to making resources and training interesting and exciting for teachers/educators and students/young people.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to write accurately and correctly, and the ability to persuade and influence others and feedback ideas in a professional manner. 
• Experience of chairing and guiding meetings.
• Experience of managing a range of projects, from initiation to completion, working with a range of stakeholders. 
• Demonstrable understanding of monitoring and evaluation.
• Commitment to film as a powerful tool for education, both as a cultural art form and to engage young people and raise attainment.
• Current knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Desirable

• Experience in creating resources or opportunities which support young people’s careers education.
• Experience of filmmaking with young people.
• Experience of training teachers or other professionals.
• A love and knowledge of film.

About the Team

This role sits within the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department, which is made up of 30+ people based across the country with bases in London, Sheffield, and Edinburgh.

The T&D Department is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities, providing a secure infrastructure, management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and the provision of support for a range of software, systems, and platform tools.

About You

As the HRIS Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing our HRIS system, ensuring it aligns with Shelter's strategic priorities.

You'll collaborate with various teams to ensure our HRIS supports critical business functions effectively.

You will have experience providing and managing a HRIS support function.

You’ll bring significant experience in managing HRIS systems, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving change.

You will have experience in aligning technology roadmaps with business strategy (PeopleXD experience advantageous).
