We are looking for a Marketing Manager for a 12 month fixed term contract.  The Young People’s Borough of Culture Marketing Manager will plan, manage and deliver the marketing and audience development campaigns for Hammersmith & Fulham’s Young People’s Borough of Culture programme.

The role will sit within the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, who are taking responsibility for leading the Young People’s Borough of Culture programme on behalf of the Where Culture Connects H&F Cultural Compact. The lead partners for the programme are the Lyric, H&F Council and Earls Court Development Company, with the shared vision of implementing a new long-term model for young people, education and business sectors.

The role will oversee a discreet budget for promotion of programmes and events, which will span multiple disciplines, event types and locations across the borough. They will work closely with the Young People’s Borough of Culture working group and partner organisations to ensure audience targets are met, reaching a broad audience and ensuring the impact of the programme is appropriately highlighted.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Data Protection Compliance Officer to join our central compliance team.

You will play a key role in supporting the Federation’s Data Protection Officer and the wider Central Data Protection Team. You will help ensure the organisation operates in full compliance with legal regulations, government guidelines, and best practice—making a real contribution to safeguarding data across the Federation.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

In this role, you will:

• Raise data protection awareness across the Federation
• Deliver, design and coordinate focused data protection awareness training, including analysing training needs
• Manage data incidents, ensuring swift containment, thorough severity analysis and accurate reporting
• Prepare targeted data protection communications for Data Champions
• Compile Data Protection Impact Assessments and Data Sharing Agreements
• Liaise with the Supply Management Team to conduct data protection due diligence on new third-party suppliers
• Monitor completion and maintain accurate records of Federation-wide “All Staff Data Protection Awareness Training"
• Capture and report data protection risks and related mitigating actions, as directed

• Support the Data Protection Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer on Federation-wide initiatives and projects

• Coordinate a comprehensive suite of general compliance training for Head Office and academies
• Assist the Data Protection Officer with the management of Federation risk.

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Development Worker to join our Rent Deposit Scheme team based in Lambeth.

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.

Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.

About the team

Our Rent Deposit Scheme supports young people to access safe, affordable accommodation in the private rented sector. We work closely with landlords, letting agents and local authorities to create housing opportunities and support young people to successfully move into and sustain their own tenancies.

Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The requirement is a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.

About you

You will have experience working with young people or vulnerable groups and a good understanding of the challenges they may face when moving towards independent living.

About Chapter One 

Chapter One's mission is to ensure that every child has 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most. We want a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive.

Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports about 3,500 children a year. It pairs disadvantaged, struggling five to eight-year old (KS1) readers with reading support volunteers who come from over 180 local and national businesses. The volunteer task is very focused: readers commit 30 minutes a week to read with a child using a bespoke digital platform for an entire academic year. The results are transformative, boosting children's reading confidence and ability.

About the role 

Chapter One is seeking a proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Corporate Partnerships Officer to be an integral part of a team which aims to both maximise corporate income and deliver an excellent partner experience. 

Reporting to our Corporate Partnerships Manager, but also working closely with our Business Development Manager, you’ll support them both to deliver our annual volunteer targets and maintain our strong partner retention rate (currently 84%). This will involve supporting the account management of a portfolio of existing partners and the responsibility to nurture relationships to increase partner investment in Chapter One over time. The role involves collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless and positive experience for volunteers and partners.

This role represents a great opportunity for an early career professional to learn about charity-business partnerships in a dynamic, small charity which is flexible and agile.

Key Responsibilities 

Partner Stewardship

• As determined by the Corporate Partnerships Manager, lead the account management of a selected portfolio of corporate partners, achieving annual retention and growth targets for these partnerships.

• Focus, in all corporate partnership discussions, on maximising income and identifying opportunities to grow a partner’s support.

• Plan and conduct a regular cycle of partnership meetings, including mid and end of year reviews, proactively seeking out new opportunities that will maximise income and retain and grow partner support. 

• Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager to produce high quality written communications, reports and pitches as per the requirements of each partner, collaborating with the Data and Systems Officer and other teams as needed.

• Advocate effectively, with passion and enthusiasm, for Chapter One’s programmes in a variety of internal and external settings.

• Ensure, in conjunction with the HR and Finance Assistant, that partners are invoiced for their Chapter One donations accurately and in a timely manner. 

Partner/Volunteer Onboarding and Experience

• Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager, Head of Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Support Team to ensure that partner and volunteer onboarding is a smooth and positive experience. 

• Lead volunteer recruitment meetings as requested by partners, including presenting the programme to prospective volunteers and creating excitement and interest. 

• Alongside the Corporate Partnerships Manager, use internal systems to assign partner teams and volunteers to specific schools and ensure that their needs are met.

• Build proactive, supportive relationships with Volunteer Coordinators across partner organisations, providing timely, high-quality data and insights, and delivering an excellent partner experience to foster long lasting relationships.

• Work with Programme Manager team, Volunteer Support Team and IT team, to troubleshoot any issues that arise. 

• Support the Programme Management team to liaise with partner contacts about the organisation of in-person school/office visits and virtual meet and greets.

• Attend Chapter One’s internal Volunteer Experience group and Corporate Engagement Group.

Marketing and Communications

• Work with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure that companies and volunteers have access to an array of promotional assets and recruitment materials.

• Contribute content for the regular volunteer and corporate partner newsletters, including working with partners to gather volunteer testimonials and partner profiles.

• Encourage corporate partners and volunteers to promote Chapter One through their own social media and channels.

• Support the organisation of online and in person partner and volunteer recognition events.

General

• Oversee and maintain specific Account Management related processes, including stewardship plans, recording of activity on the Salesforce CRM and internal spreadsheets and platform databases.

• Regularly use Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets to analyse data and support decision-making.

• Conduct administrative duties as required to support the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Partnerships Manager.

• Attend conferences and events to represent Chapter One and talk about its work to existing and potential new partners.

As our Youth Work Manager, you'll be the person responsible for making sure the youth work at the heart of our Academy is outstanding.

You'll lead our youth workers, shape our programmes, and act as our primary safeguarding lead within primary interventions. This isn't a hands-off management role, you will be present in the Academy at least four evenings a week, visible to young people and staff alike, and actively involved in the delivery of life-changing work.

You'll take the lead on designing, developing, and quality-assuring our youth work offer, including programmes like Man Talk and Lutadoras, our gender-specific personal development groups, as well as youth leadership initiatives and open-access evening services. Safeguarding sits at the very centre of this role. You'll be the named lead for safeguarding across primary interventions, responsible not just for managing individual concerns, but for building a culture where every member of staff is vigilant, confident, and fully trained. You'll know your way around Working Together to Safeguard Children, contextual safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice, and you'll bring that knowledge to life in how the team works every day.

You'll also manage a team of youth workers, recruiting, developing, and holding them to high standards through regular one-to-ones, team meetings, and a genuine investment in their growth. Many of our youth workers are young people themselves who have come through our programmes, and supporting their professional development is a privilege that comes with this role.

Chapter One is a growing charity dedicated to ensuring every child has access to one-to-one reading support at the time they need it most.

About the role

With ambitious targets to support thousands more children by 2029, Chapter One is seeking a passionate, energetic Fundraising Officer to be an integral part of our Fundraising team. As our Facilities Manager, you'll be the person who makes the Academy hum, from keeping us legally compliant and structurally sound to leading capital projects, managing a network of contractors, and making sure every corner of the building reflects the ambition and energy of the community it serves.

This pivotal role will support the charity’s research and evaluation consultancy work through Brilliant Consulting. Through our consultancy work, we have partnered with a range of universities and education organisations, such as the Centre for Transforming Access and Student Outcomes in Higher Education (TASO) and The Sutton Trust. The Senior Research and Evaluation Officer will contribute to improving the evidence base for what works to drive fairer education outcomes and social mobility. They will do this by supporting mission-aligned organisations to conduct robust evaluations of outreach and education programmes.

The Senior Research and Evaluation Officer will join a small consultancy team and will be managed by the charity’s Director of Research and Impact. The team is also supported by several colleagues from across the organisation who work on specific projects based on their areas of expertise.
