About the role:
This role solely focuses on new business development for income generating corporate partnerships. The goal is to secure a range of 6 and 7-figure, long-term partnerships via companies and their foundations which transform children’s lives in some of the most challenging contexts.
Key areas of responsibility include:

About you:
We are seeking an established corporate fundraiser with a professional background or education in international development, humanitarian, or peacebuilding. You will have an income-focused mindset, proactive and broad business development experience, and will have developed international charity-corporate partnerships.
You will have a startup mentality, working with limited resources to find ways to engage businesses with World Vision’s work. You will have the freedom to develop and implement engagement and partnership development tactics, and to use creative approaches. Your approaches will overcome World Vision’s lower brand awareness in comparison to other child-focused international causes.
Alongside this, you will have great attention to detail that is necessary to support proposal, budget, and contract development to effectively reflect World Vision and the prospective partner’s interests. For this, you will have great writing and presenting skills, that enable you to develop strong relationships based on mutual interest and trust.
You will be able to balance conflicting priorities, manage a pipeline of prospects, and adopt a proactive and long-term approach to creating leads and partnerships.

About the role
This is an exciting role within the Volunteering Team. You’ll have responsibility for designing and piloting Shelter’s financial resilience volunteer programme in Leeds as well as supporting our nationwide volunteering programme. We’ll rely on you to use best practice volunteer management to design and pilot volunteering journeys from attraction, recruitment and training all the way through to ongoing support and exit. You’ll also be leading on evaluating the pilot and adapting our approaches based on learnings. The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders not only across Shelter but with our financial corporate partners to implement a volunteer programme that equips our volunteers to deliver their roles independently, whilst also having the biggest impact. About you

You’ll be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, including identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities to meet agreed objectives. Your great communication skills include an ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. What’s more, you’ll be confident creating and delivering high-quality presentations both online and in-person. You’ll be experienced in managing the specific approaches needed when involving corporate volunteers as opposed to non-corporate volunteers.

The Role
The WorldGBC is seeking a dedicated Advocacy and Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in shaping and advancing our global advocacy efforts, influencing policy, and supporting our network of national Green Building Councils (GBCs) in their advocacy work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing policy positions, conducting research, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote sustainable building practices and policies worldwide. The Advocacy and Engagement Manger will report to and work closely with the Global Advocacy Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Support for the Global Advocacy Director: Work closely with the Global Advocacy Director to develop and implement WorldGBC's global advocacy strategy. Assist in coordinating the organization’s advocacy efforts across different regions, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Provide analytical support, prepare briefing materials, and manage specific projects as directed by the Global Advocacy Director. Act as a liaison between the Global Advocacy Director and other team members, stakeholders, and national GBCs to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

Skills, experience and education:

The ACNS is a key senior role within the Nursing team, acting as the clinical specialist lead and overseeing the community nursing service for a defined area on a rotation basis (non-clinical).

Our programme supporting Higher Technical Education has big ambitions.
