The MA, alongside a number of partners, are working to expand and develop how we support mathematics education. Central to this is the joint development of a new association that will bring together people from across the whole mathematics education community.

To help us achieve this, we are looking for an experienced and empathetic Operations & Change Manager to lead the successful integration of two office locations and staff teams within our association. This is a key short-term role, supporting both the practical and people aspects of the merger, ensuring minimal disruption to services and a smooth transition for staff and stakeholders. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in change management or organisational development, ideally within the voluntary or public sector, and a passion for values-led leadership. 

Key Responsibilities 

Project Management & Planning 

• Develop and deliver a clear, time-bound transition plan for the merger of two offices and their staff teams, which total around 10 staff. 

• Coordinate the logistical aspects of the merger, including workspace planning, IT/data transfers, supplier liaison and operational systems. 

• Ensure day-to-day services continue to run smoothly throughout the transition. 

Staff Integration & Communication 

• Work closely with the CEO to support team alignment, role clarity, and internal communications. 

• Offer interim line management, support and/or supervision to a small staff team 

• Facilitate team-building and change management initiatives to support culture integration. 

Stakeholder Engagement 

• Provide regular updates to the CEO and trustees. 

• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure buy-in and transparency. 

• Maintain clear and open communication channels across both merging offices. 

Reporting & Handover 

• Track and report progress against key milestones. 

• Identify risks and mitigation strategies as the merger progresses.

The Trusts and Grants Fundraiser will lead on our applications, reporting and the administration of our appeals to charitable trusts and foundations, and support bids to public funders.

• maintain and manage our existing pipeline of charitable trusts and foundations

• undertake research and identify trusts and foundations whose priorities align with our work, in line with organisational priorities

• work closely with the General Manager and Director of Education to research, prepare and submit high quality, compelling applications, ranging from 4-6 figures and including multi-year proposals

• record applications made, track outcomes and provide reports for finance and management

• prepare timely updates and reports to funders that communicate the impact of their support and maximise the opportunity for ongoing or future support, working with colleagues to ensure feedback, case studies, data and financial information is available as required

The postholder will have responsibility for leading and developing the Boarding Schools Bursary programme in partnership with Royal SpringBoard and will be the principal point of contact for IntoUniversity centres, the bursary students and their families, the boarding schools and Royal SpringBoard.

What will my main duties be?

Programme Management

• To oversee the IntoUniversity Boarding School Bursary Programme including recruitment of potential students and ongoing support of current boarders.
• To prepare the students and their families for Royal SpringBoard and school assessments as well as reparing for boarding school life. 
• To plan and/or attend boarding school taster and pastoral visits across the UK. 
• To create a calendar of out-of-boarding events and support for students and families to connect to their local centre, including centre visits and community hubs. 
• Work with the Safeguarding Team to promote the wellbeing of students and respond to safeguarding concerns (additional training will be provided for this aspect of the role). 
• Encourage post-18 alumni to engage with the Royal SpringBoard alumni programmes and the IntoUniversity Student Associate Network

Stakeholder Management

• Manage the relationship with Royal Springboard, including reporting on KPIs and maintaining communication.

Established in 1997, Jigsaw4u provide a range of services for children, young people, families and vulnerable adults experiencing complex social and emotional difficulties across South West London. Jigsaw4u has experienced considerable growth and development over the past several years. Jigsaw4u’s Board of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) have recognised the need for dedicated staffing resource to hold the day-to-day responsibility for the service management function as part of our Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

This is an opportunity for the right person to join the Refugee Migrant Centre (RMC) as an experienced Bid Writer. RMC is an established, award winning, regional charity, renowned for its work with refugees and migrants.

Role Details

• Position: Operations Coordinator

About the opportunity

We are looking for a Senior People & Compliance Advisor to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This role is vital to ensure our charity continues to provide a professional and legally compliant environment for our staff and volunteers. You will lead on employee relations, support line managers, and maintain compliance across our policies and processes – including GDPR, safeguarding, H&S and employment law.

We are looking for individuals who will thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding role helping to change the lives of young people by taking up a permanent role as a part-time Programme Support Tutor. You will work closely with our existing team, supporting the delivery and organisation of the IntoUniversity programme in the centre.

The main duties of the role

To deliver the IntoUniversity programme effectively to children and young people in different settings, including schools-based workshops, Academic Support sessions and educational visits. This includes positive behaviour management and adherence to the IntoUniversity safeguarding policy.

• To assist with the organisation and delivery of the Academic Support, FOCUS and Mentoring Programmes.
• To assist the IntoUniversity Centre Leader in liaising with schools and other partner bodies, in organising the classroom and resources and in planning project delivery. 
• To update and maintain IntoUniversity displays, publicity and resources.
• To work with the IntoUniversity Centre Leader to recruit children and young people to the programme, including after-school Academic Support and FOCUS Weeks. 
• To develop educational resources and worksheets for use across all IntoUniversity programmes. 
• To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act,  Children and Young People (Scotland) Act, Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act, Protection of Vulnerable  Groups (Scotland) Act, and legislation and policies related to Equal Opportunities and Health & Safety. 
• To champion diversity and inclusion in your role at all times, referring to the Diversity and Inclusion Staff Responsibilities Guide. 
• To undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the nature and scope of this post.

Since the inception of IOM in 1951, Movement Operations have been and continue to be a fundamental pillar of the Organization’s work. About the Role

This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the coordination and administration of Outdoor Learning programmes. Working from a working upland farm in Cumbria, you will play a key role in ensuring apprenticeships, training courses, traineeships and Outdoor Learning sessions run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating bookings and managing enquiries via phone, email and in person
• Maintaining accurate records and updating databases, including Salesforce
• Supporting the Learning team with risk assessments, health and safety compliance and safeguarding processes
• Producing reports and collating feedback to measure impact
• Liaising with contractors, farm staff and partners to ensure resources and facilities are in place
• Assisting with the organisation of events, networks and training sessions

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to programmes that connect children and young people with the natural environment, particularly those who face barriers to accessing the outdoors.

About You

You will be an experienced administrator who is methodical, reliable and confident working independently as well as part of a team. You will enjoy variety in your work and be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Essential skills and experience include:

• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database management
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
• Experience working with safeguarding and GDPR requirements
• An interest in Outdoor Learning and the benefits of environmental engagement
• A positive, proactive approach and enthusiasm for working in all weather conditions on a farm site

It would also be an advantage if you have experience using Salesforce, knowledge of the charity or education sector, or an understanding of upland farming.
