Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a seamless onboarding experience, handling queries and providing a warm welcome to new volunteers.
- Supporting and training colleagues on volunteering systems and processes.
- Managing our safeguarding and DBS processes for volunteers to keep young people safe.
- Using our Volunteer Management System (Assemble), ensuring communications are logged and accurate reports are available for monitoring and KPIs.
- Creating and maintaining clear documentation, process and guidance documents so colleagues and volunteers have everything they need at their fingertips.
- Recognising volunteer contributions by coordinating our volunteer rewards and recognition activities.
- Writing inspiring news articles and email communications updates on our Volunteering platform.
- Championing the volunteer journey and actively contributing to team goals that ensure volunteers have a positive and consistent experience.
A few practical things:
- This role is hybrid, involving a mixture of working from home and from our Central London office.
- There will be some limited additional requirements to travel for meetings and occasional expectations to work outside of office hours, such as our annual in person Staff Conference and quarterly evening ‘get togethers’ online with volunteers.
- This role is the equivalent of 3 days per week, however we are flexible to accommodate the regular working hours that work for you, between 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
- Giving our volunteers the best possible experience involves really understanding what they do- so you will be actively encouraged to get stuck in and ‘volunteer’ yourself within our programmes and alongside our volunteers.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Facilities Manager to join our team at the National Memorial Arboretum. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing the management of our buildings, facilities, and associated services, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain buildings and facilities to ensure high standards.
- Lead and develop the Building Services team, providing guidance and support.

About the role

Role specifics
We are seeking a strategic and proactive individual to manage a team and lead on the development and communication of SEHP’s policy positions to support the regeneration of empty homes. You’ll use your expertise to ensure policies are evidence-based and compelling, driving key objectives to bring privately owned empty homes back into use, ideally as affordable housing. A key part of your role will be leading on the publication of the Partnership’s impact report and collaborating with the Scottish Government, sector partners, and local authorities. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, offering consultation and guidance to local authorities, while developing practical strategies to increase affordable housing supply by bringing empty homes back into use.
Your leadership will also extend to supporting your team, providing management cover in the absence of the National Manager, and contributing to media opportunities. Strong communication, project management, and policy analysis skills are essential, alongside an ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners. About the team
The Scottish Empty Homes Partnership is hosted by Shelter Scotland and has been funded by the Scottish Government since 2010. The current funding commitment runs until end of March 2026.
Part of an award-winning Communication & Policy Department, our SEHP is a Scottish Government funded project aimed at enabling private sector empty homes to be brought back into use across Scotland. The Partnership achieves this via a mix of policy work, capacity building, training, best practice sharing and awareness raising with councils, community groups and others. The responsibilities of the Client Finance Manager will include:
· Delivering budgets and forecasts for each client, property and tenancy, using complex data from the MRI Horizon general ledger and other systems, Hyperion and Excel tools to provide accurate and meaningful financial information
· Being accountable for financial control over property services accounting, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction by providing accurate forecasting, explanations and billing

The Salvation Army is one of the largest, most diverse providers of social and community services after the Government. With more than 600 local centres and nearly 100 residential centres, they make a powerful difference to people across the UK who might otherwise be excluded.
Along with the Assistant Head of Individual Giving, the Supporter Acquisition Managers are responsible for growing the organisation’s file of donors and hitting an annual Individual Giving team fundraising target of £50 million in unrestricted income. As a direct marketing subject matter expert, they will lead cold recruitment campaigns and support in identifying and delivering new products or acquisition streams. The roles will lead on planning and project managing delivery of a variety of media channels, both online and offline. Each manager will hold strategic areas of focus, be responsible for seven figure expenditure budgets and line manage a Supporter Acquisition Officer or Executive.
The successful candidates will have significant direct marketing expertise with a strong background in project managing multiple campaigns across a range of channels, ideally in a fundraising role, and with proven success at recruiting new donors. You will have a passion for fundraising with a commercial understanding of the charity marketplace and competitors. As well as previous experience in identifying areas of innovation and devising testing plans to launch and roll out, you will also have a track record in successfully leveraging value from data collated on supporter databases, to maximise targeting and data segmentation.

Treasures Foundation provides housing and support for women recovering from addiction, trauma, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We are now seeking an experienced Waking Night Keyworker to oversee all aspects of our first stage housing during the night, based at our Newham, East London homes from 10pm to 8am. The main role is to support the residents in daily living activities of an evening and morning and be available for support throughout the night. Staff will also be expected to maintain professional development through online training and maintain the monitoring system ensuring it is up to date.
Key Responsibilities
The Waking Night Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:
Beneficiary support
· Support beneficiaries in the evening, communicating with them about their day or any difficulties that have arisen for them

Princess Alice Hospice is one of the top ten adult hospices in the UK, providing specialist palliative care and support to a community of more than a million people living in Surrey, South West London and Middlesex.
The Night Response Team (NR) provides specialist on call palliative nursing care between the hours of 22.00 and 08.00, 7 days a week for palliative care patients known to Princess Alice Hospice.
The Team also provides nursing care and assistance to palliative and general patients who are referred from the district nursing service, the OOH’s service (111), local ambulance services SECAMB and LAS, Mole Valley Telecare and Tunstall Community Alarm services. This includes palliative patients who are not known to PAH. Night Response visit patients in their own homes as well as in care and residential homes.
A Night Response shift will be covered by two members of staff per night, usually one RN and an SHCA, occasionally two RN’s.
We are based in an office on the in-patient unit at the Hospice. We receive calls, provide information, support and advice to patients, families, and other health care professionals, whilst visiting patients as required throughout the night.
The Night Response Service brings the skills and expertise of our highly trained and dedicated specialist team directly into the patients homes. This allows patients, their families and carers access to the vital support they need at home, when time matters most, providing the opportunity for patients to remain at home and reducing the need for hospital admissions.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced, proactive, dynamic and versatile Staff Nurse with excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone triage skills, to join our Night Response Team.
Experience in caring for patients who are terminally ill is essential. You will need to be able to work autonomously and have an excellent understanding of care provision in the community and be involved in auditing the service provided.
You will need a full driving license with a maximum of 6 points for use of the hospice vehicle (automatic)

Shelter North East has been supporting people in the region for over 25 years and provides advice over 12 local authorities. We are made up of an advice team, legal team as well as support services which include Housing First and DIY skills service, as well as an administration team. National staff based in the hub include a Community Fundraiser and Community Organiser, Lived Experience Officer and Business Development Manager.
We aim to bring about systemic change through our work with clients, training for our partners and volunteers and using evidence to bring about housing procedural and policy changes for people in the North East.
