About the Role
World Vision seeks a Prospect Researcher to enhance fundraising efforts and support vulnerable communities through effective donor engagement.
What a day could look like –
Morning: Build a research profile on a potential philanthropist.
Midday: Review prospect pipelines and run reports to catch every opportunity.

Contract: Initial two-year fixed-term contract.
Location: Hybrid working, with one to two team days per week in London, EC2A.

UK for UNHCR, the UK partner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), is seeking an Individual Giving leader to shape the future of Individual Giving at the organisation and unlock long-term, sustainable income growth.
UNHCR stands alongside people forced to flee their homes, advocating for their rights and raising funds to support their protection, dignity and futures. UNHCR’s work has never been more important – by the end of 2024, a record 122.6 million people were displaced, with children accounting for 40% of all forcibly displaced people
UK for UNHCR (UK4U) builds solidarity and raises funds in the UK for refugees worldwide - last year UK4U raised a total income of £25.5 million and continues to build on strong foundations since its beginnings in 2019.
The charity is now seeking a Director of Individual Giving in a new and exciting opportunity to explore how UK4U can expand on these foundations, with a focus on increasing the sustainability of the donor base and maximising lifetime value, as well as identifying opportunities for transformational income growth.
The role will be responsible for leading a team of 12 people and strategic leadership for all fundraising from the UK public, including mid-value and legacy supporters, and covering both digital and offline channels. The post-holder will utilise market insight, data intelligence and an innovative approach to design a high-performing long-term Individual Giving strategy that puts UK4U’s supporters and refugee communities at the heart of everything they do.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of leading successful, large-scale multi-million-pound Individual Giving programmes and proven leadership experience at a senior, strategic level. You will have a strong track record of fostering innovation in Individual Giving, alongside the experience shaping strategy and making significant investment decisions.
You will also have a deep understanding of the UK Individual Giving fundraising market across all channels and of programmes that focus on value, high average gift rates and mid-value programmes. Finally, you will be an inclusive and empowering leader with a strong commitment to the refugee cause. Experience of fundraising for international humanitarian and development causes would be an advantage, as well as understanding of mid-value programmes.

The Sales Assistant’s primary responsibilities are making all shoppers feel welcome in the store,
educating them about the shop's concept and all the items, and taking donations on card machines.
You’ll also inform visitors about Choose Love’s work so that they feel connected and informed, which
will help raise much-needed funds. You’ll also work in the merchandise department, support the
daily volunteer teams, and get involved in some in-store events.

Frazzled is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE based on the power of emotional openness. Our free, volunteer-led meetings run online every single day of the year, offering people a chance to share, listen and feel heard in a supportive community.
We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.
You will play a vital role in coordinating our schedule of peer-support meetings, managing our busy inboxes, supporting our volunteers and ensuring our internal systems and processes are well organised and working smoothly. You will work closely with our Co-Heads of Training and Programmes to plan and manage service delivery, support the recruitment, wellbeing, training and development of volunteers, as well as provide day-to-day running of our services. Supporting the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, you will contribute to Frazzled’s fundraising and development by providing administrative support and helping to organise events, meetings and reports.
Frazzled runs meetings throughout the day, from early in the morning until late in the evening seven days a week. The Project Support and Administrative Officer will be responsible for scheduling meetings and supporting our Facilitators with issues when they arise.
Please note that there will be some evening and weekend work expected when emergency tech or meeting issues arise.

Key responsibilities
Core Programme:

Manage the delivery of all Frazzled meetings by being the main point of contact for day-to-day queries, managing the day to day running of core programmes, ensuring documents, schedules, records and systems are all up to date, and being on call to deal with any issues that arise.

Respond to all public enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner

Manage the Frazzled meeting schedule by arranging our meetings with volunteers and uploading them onto our booking website

Design all pre- and post- volunteer meeting polls and ensure these are completed

Host Ruby Wax public meetings with Ruby on Zoom
Volunteer Support:

Support the Heads of Training and Programmes in the recruitment, support and training of volunteers

Be confident in having constructive conversations via Zoom, phone and email with our stakeholders and volunteer network

Ensure all volunteer records, DBS and training tracking is maintained and updated, and arranging training meetings

Assess feedback forms from volunteers that may highlight problems or risks within meetings and manage these accordingly

Support all volunteers in case of distress, queries, updates, problem solving alongside the Heads Training and Programmes

Support and minute monthly volunteer meetings

Write a monthly volunteer newsletter
Data and internal operations

Manage and oversee all data collection from the core programme meetings, including analysis and presentation of results to staff, volunteers and trustees.

The responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant will include:
- Support the production of the GPA Annual Report and Accounts including provision of consolidation returns for Cabinet Office departmental accounts and Whole of Government Accounts
- Maintain and analyse accurate accounting records including preparation and monitoring of Statement of Financial Position reconciliations and accrual and other journals
- Monitor the effectiveness of key controls including those operated by outsourced service providers
- Prepare tax returns to deadlines including monthly VAT return and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns
- Support the delivery of internal and external audits including provision of fully supporting and signposted evidence, monitoring of requests and responding to auditors in a timely way
