About the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to help transform the response to domestic abuse by ensuring the sector is evidence led. SafeLives holds the largest datasets on victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse nationally which you will use to inform our ambitious policy and research agenda. Working alongside our practice experts, survivors of abuse, and our expert research team, you will help to answer important questions about what works in ending domestic abuse.
This Data Analyst position will primarily work within the Drive programme team. They will be responsible for working with and supporting the Senior Data Analyst and Data Team Manager to develop and deliver rigorous, sector leading data, analysis, and recommendations. Working closely with the Drive Practice, National Systems Change and Restart teams, this role will primarily focus on data collection, quality assurance, management and reporting through the Drive Case Management Systems.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract: Fixed term contract until June 2027 (with the possibility of an extension).
Location: Bristol based with some travel across the UK.
About the Drive Partnership
The Drive Partnership is a partnership between Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance. We came together in 2015 around a shared ambition to change the way statutory and voluntary agencies respond to high-harm, high-risk perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse. Today, we are still working together to transform the national response to perpetrators of domestic abuse. The Drive Project
The Drive Project is our flagship intervention working with those causing harm in their relationships to prevent abusive behaviour and protect victim-survivors. Service users have been assessed as posing a high-risk, high-harm level of domestic abuse to the people that they are in intimate or family relationships with. They also often have multiple needs and are resistant to change. The Drive Project has an intensive case management approach that challenges service users to change and works with partner agencies – like the police and social services – to disrupt abuse.

A little bit about the role
The trusts fundraiser role sits in the fundraising team within the external relations division. The fundraising team is responsible for raising between £1m and £1.5m in fundraised income annually. Frontline’s philanthropic income complements the significant contract income the charity receives from central and local government and enables the charity to carry out its broader mission to create social change for hundreds of thousands of disadvantaged children.
Since we were founded in 2013, Frontline has leveraged its success to build committed, high impact partnerships with a number of prestigious supporters including trusts and foundations, corporates and high net worth individuals. Our new fundraising strategy focuses on continuing to grow our network of supporters by maintaining excellent relationships with our current funders while identifying new potential donors, and at the same time testing and developing fundraising through community and events and individual giving.
We are now looking for a trusts fundraiser to help drive this strategy forward. The successful candidate will have experience in building relationships and securing income, helping us to build relationships with new trust funders while stewarding effectively our current trust and foundation relationships.
The successful candidate will work closely with the head of fundraising and the fundraising manager to implement Frontline’s annual fundraising plan, taking specific responsibility for researching, building relationships with, writing persuasive proposals to and securing income from new trust and foundation funders, while also providing excellent stewardship and reporting to current funders. The fundraising team is supported by the marketing, events and communications staff of the external relations division.
Some key responsibilities include:
- To develop a pipeline of potential trust funders through prospect research, the development of strong relationships, and writing of persuasive, creative and inspiring applications.
- To arrange meetings and engagement opportunities with new funders, including ensuring that other Frontline staff are involved in supporting applications and pitches where appropriate.
- To account manage a portfolio of existing trust supporters, providing excellent stewardship and planning and writing high quality grant and funding reports in line with reporting deadlines.
- To work closely with other teams at Frontline, particularly the fellowship team and evaluation team, to develop proposals and reports, bring funders closer to our work and help inspire a culture of fundraising across the charity.
A little bit about you
You will be an experienced fundraiser, with experience in securing grants from trusts and foundations in particular. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, target-driven and passionate about delivering persuasive cases for support through crafting creative and imaginative funding proposals.
We have a fast-moving culture within the team and organisation, so we’re looking for someone who is who is well organised, details-focused and can use their initiative to do what works. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to build relationships with people and be willing to learn. The post holder will be working with socially isolated individuals to identify meaningfully enriching opportunities to reduce feelings of loneliness, some of whom may have complex and challenging welfare needs, to develop actions plans and coordinate support to overcome any barriers preventing successful connection into these enriching opportunities, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector.

Across all of our products our Product and Systems Management team cover the following areas:
- Being fully responsible for the provision and management of the system
- Owning the list of user requirements. These are known as product backlog items (PBIs) and are drawn from user group meetings/discussions. These PBIs are then scheduled for build and release.
- Manage the relationship with any external support companies for the relevant products and interconnected products and systems including accounting online, bank checking and deduping systems.
- Manage the data cleanliness, accessibility, availability and retention in accordance with our data governance and security policies particularly the information and data management framework. And develop and maintain automated processing of bulk data.
- Enshrine continuous improvement into the use and development of our Products.
Our use of Product Management comprises of all of our critical business systems (Finance, HR, Intranet, Microsoft end user applications).
Our Head of Product and Systems Management plays a crucial role in the development and delivery of our Product and Systems Management. This role is also responsible for defining and delivering the Product and Systems Management team’s strategy/roadmap and ensure they are delivered.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a proactive and highly self-motivated Fundraising Manager to join our team at Police Care UK and make a critical contribution towards our combined annual fundraising target of approximately £1 million.
With knowledge of the funding landscape for first responders, police, mental health, or wellbeing causes, you will take direct responsibility for income from Trusts & Foundations, Major Donors, and legacy fundraising, alongside oversight of our challenge and community events.
With strong research and writing skills, you’ll identify new funding opportunities and produce compelling, high-quality applications. You’ll also bring excellent relationship-building abilities, managing key donor relationships with care and ensuring grant compliance to maximise impact and income.
If you have a strong track record in securing significant income from trusts, foundations, grant-making bodies and major donors, and a commitment to improving mental health outcomes for those who serve, we’d love to hear from you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a trusts and foundations fundraising strategy to meet agreed income targets.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources.
- Write compelling, tailored funding proposals, applications, and reports.
- Work closely with finance and clinical teams to monitor and report on grant expenditure.

The Fundraising and Engagement Officer will be a vital member of our charity team, responsible for supporting all activity across community and events fundraising.This role will focus on providing exceptional stewardship for our calendar of community and events fundraising and enhancing supporter engagement. You’ll build relationships with individual supporters, promote fundraising and donor opportunities and help deliver impactful events, all while maintaining the highest standards of stewardship and being respectful of potential sensitivities particularly when working with families who are fundraising in memory.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Events Fundraising
- Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, including challenge events and community initiatives.
- Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities.
- Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and build strong relationships for future collaboration.
Community Fundraising
- Lead outreach efforts to engage new local community partners, such as (small) businesses, schools, and clubs, promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.
- Provide stewardship for in-memory and in-celebration fundraisers, ensuring they receive the information and support needed to maximise their fundraising potential.
- To represent the charity as and when required in schools, engagement events and cheque presentations.
Supporter Care
- Serve as the primary point of contact for community and events fundraisers, delivering outstanding stewardship that enhances their experience with the charity.
- Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with supporters, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.
- Manage our CRM database.
- Maintain accurate records to track communications, income, and supporter preferences, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
- Continuously evaluate the supporter journey, aiming to enhance retention and engagement.
Administrative and Financial Support
- Process cash and cheque donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately on our database.
- Adhering to fundraising budgets, tracking income, and ensuring effective expenditure management.
- Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets.
- Overseeing our online shop.
Marketing and Communication
- Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc) and social media content to inspire participation in fundraising activities.
- Produce regular newsletters and impact reports.
- Ensure fundraising and associated webpages are kept up to date.
- Collate information for the Head of Fundraising to support trust and foundation applications.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the wider team (when required) to support in-hospital and community events as well as assisting with tasks as needed to ensure smooth charity operations.
- Support team members with ad hoc projects, activities, and any high-priority tasks to contribute to overall team objectives.
- Any other duties as required by the Head of Fundraising.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Salary is £27000 - £29,000 (depending on experience) per annum. The role covers 37.5 hours per week. Two days per week working in our charity office and the remaining hours working remotely. Occasional evening and weekend work subject to our events calendar.
One-year fixed term contract however there is potential to extend contract length after 12 months subject to performance.
A full driving licence or the ability to travel to events and meetings within London and the South East is essential.
