Renewed Hope is a local charity based in Redhill providing practical solutions and emotional support to the homeless, vulnerable and isolated of East Surrey..

Renewed Hope is currently seeking two experienced support and recovery workers to support our guests. One post is full time (37.5 hours p.w.£27,518 p.a.) and the other part time (19 hrs p.w. - pay pro rata of full time salary)

Renewed Hope offers support to rough sleepers and homeless people in crisis, and housed people suffering the effects of isolation and poverty.

The post holders will be working with guests in both our Drop-in and in our 4 bed supported house (Hope House), but will take a lead responsibility in one or the other of these projects.

Drop in:

• Welcome and assess first time guests, identifying priority needs.
• Signpost and support guests to access key statutory and voluntary services , including housing, benefits, homelessness services etc
• Provide practical support and advice to guests , for example with application forms, bill enquiries, budgeting
• Identify and action any immediate or emerging safeguarding concerns. Maintain and build links with all relevant partner agencies and multi-agency networks (eg Local Authorities, outreach teams, probation teams, Drug and Alcohol recovery, mental health etc

Hope House:

• Assist in the process of vetting the suitability of potential residents and support them with their transition in/out of Hope House
• Ensure tailored support plans (using Homeless Outcomes Star) are in place for each resident
• Support and ensure ongoing adherence to licence agreements and processes- including issuing warnings, behavioural contracts, rent collection notice papers etc
• Oversee the safe and efficient running of Hope House, taking into account any relevant Supported Housing/ HMO specific requirements
• Complete and record regular inspections of individual rooms and shared spaces, ensuring conditions are maintained to expected standards.
• Ensure required health and safety checks are carried out, including alarm testing and gas servicing

Person Specification :

• Eligibility to Work in the UK – British passport/Birth certificate or visa. We are unable to accept sponsorship applications
• Educated to Level 3 (A-level standard)
• Previous experience working with homeless and other vulnerable people
• Knowledge and appreciation of challenges faced by these people, for example trauma, mental illness, unemployment, addictions
• Knowledge of the housing and benefits systems
• Experience managing a case load and updating case notes in a timely manner
• Good organisational skills able to work on multiple tasks
• Disciplined working style, including good time management
• Good numerical and IT skills
• Able to work as a team, including staff members, volunteers and trustees, as well as motivated to work on your own

Gaddum provides therapeutic support within the CYP Bereavement Therapy Service and the Complex Care Therapy Service across Greater Manchester. Our CYP Bereavement Therapy Service is delivered across Manchester and Salford. Our Complex Care Service is delivered across Salford, Rochdale and Stockport. Our Kentown Support Service will be delivered across Greater Manchester.

Role Purpose:

Working as part of the Gaddum CYP Bereavement Therapy and Complex Care Team, your role will be to provide effective and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Gaddum’s therapy services. You will be responsible for ensuring that all administration tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

You will demonstrate appropriate professionalism and empathy towards clients both face to face and over the phone. A keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise is key to the success of this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

· Processing referrals: adding them to our database as well as our waitlist spreadsheet, sending out therapy agreement emails to gain consent from families, communicating with referrers/other professionals where needed

· Screening referrals: for any unsuitable or high-risk cases, identifying those 16+ to help us build list for trainees

· Completing follow ups where needed - such as awaiting carer response to agreement/consent email, or we are waiting to hear back about something

· Responding to queries from professionals or service users

· Monitoring email boxes and supporting to monitor waitlist

· Completing IA’s with families who are due to start therapy

· Assisting with therapy bookings where needed (may be contacting schools or community venues on behalf of therapists)

· Liaising with professionals and assisting with onward referrals

· Keeping records up to date

· Communicating cancellations/scheduling changes to therapists or clients or both

· Support therapists with collecting feedback from parents/carers

· Attend team meetings, assisting with minutes where possible, helping to share information with the team

· Support with onboarding of new staff/volunteers/trainees, including support for CRM training and access

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

The Role

As Head of Finance and Contracts, you’ll oversee all aspects of financial management and contractual compliance across the charity. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for managing and developing our small finance team, while also leading on budgeting, funder reporting and forecasting. Alongside this, you’ll oversee the organisation’s contracts ensuring we’re operating in line with best practice and regulatory requirements.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. .

Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Line manage the Finance Officer and Finance Assistant, providing guidance, support, and performance oversight.
• Actively participate in Leadership Team meetings, contributing to the development and achievement of strategic objectives.
• Support the development of the team structure, driving delivery, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to inform long-term decision-making and business growth.

Financial Strategy & Reporting

• Lead the annual budgeting and reforecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Oversee monthly management accounts; meet regularly with Heads of Department to monitor spend and evaluate impact.
• Support with the preparation draft statutory accounts and coordinate audit queries.
• Conduct financial analysis, working with HoDs to assess ROI across key projects and income streams.

Operational Finance

Funding & Grants

• Provide financial oversight and input for grant and corporate funding applications.

Governance & Legal Oversight

• Attend Finance Committee meetings when necessary and support preparation of required reporting materials.
• Work closely with the Director of Operations and legal advisers to review contracts for grants, fundraising licenses, or procurement—particularly where risk or value is high.
• Oversee supplier, corporate partnership and grant contracts, where highly complex working with solicitors for advice
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure robust internal controls.
• Stay informed on changes to relevant financial, legal, and regulatory requirements affecting the charity sector.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

• Proven experience in charity finance, including budgeting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of UK charity and company law.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in managing or coordinating audits, payroll processes, and implementing robust financial controls.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and strong attention to detail.
• Strong technical proficiency in financial systems and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software).

Desirable

• Understanding of impact and ROI evaluation in a charity context.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the securing of income opportunities by providing financial information for bids, grants, and applications.

• Work with project leads and the senior team to ensure the effective management of funds, including tracking and reporting expenditures.

About The Role

The Programme Manager will form part of our European programme team, working closely with our functional leads to deliver impactful strategies that target emissions reductions from heavy emitting industries in the EU. This role will focus mainly on the issue of Chemicals Decarbonisation - where experience is preferable but not required - and take the lead on delivering EU-targeted activities and outputs. This role is initially set as a 12-month contract, with potential to extend, and will report into our Head of Policy and Research. 

What you will do

• Work with Climate Catalyst colleagues and partner organisations to develop policy options, positions and recommendations for European chemicals and to ensure effective engagement of business across different stages of our campaigns;

• Identify policy options and contribute to determining strategic policy positions and recommendations for decision-makers and those who influence them.

• Strengthen and build relationships of trust with key businesses, business NGOs, trade associations and other private sector actors

• Conduct stakeholder mapping, research, and analysis to identify strategies and tactics to effectively engage businesses and potentially investors in support of our policy objectives.

• Build knowledge in the field of decarbonising chemicals, with a specific focus on policy mechanisms such as the EU Emissions Trading System and Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism.

• Lead strategies with partners for successfully targeting and engaging businesses to achieve goals and objectives to influence government policy

Founded in 2014 by actors Sarah Parish MBE and Jim Murray MBE in memory of their first daughter Ella-Jayne, the charity has rebranded from The Murray Parish Trust to Imagine This in 2025. The charity is now leading a national movement to address a hidden mental health crisis in seriously ill children.

There are one million children in the UK facing life-limiting, life-threatening, and serious chronic conditions. These children are at much higher risk of long-term mental health difficulties that can become more complex and difficult to treat, on top of living with often complex medical needs. This role will be responsible for an effective and compliant operations function (finance, HR, programmes/projects, governance). You will help the charity to scale its operations sustainably and ensure the charity complies with its legal and governance responsibilities. We are looking for a proactive individual who has an eye for detail in data and administration. You will be ambitious and entrepreneurial, with real vision and a passion for the cause. You will be resilient and collaborative, someone who is highly organised with the ability to juggle a diverse and high workload.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance and HR

• Liaise with outsourced bookkeepers (also payroll providers) to ensure timely/accurate information flow.
• Oversee income and expenditure budgets and performance, processing of donations and scheduled payments, and ensuring accurate and consistent coding.
• Work with accountants to support year-end accounts and coordinate annual report production.
• Produce and circulate monthly management accounts and other reports for the Board.
• Support Trustees with designated responsibilities e.g. finance, risk, governance.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and HR record-keeping (including freelancers).
• Maintain accurate, compliant data in our CRM (Donorfy), including prompt input of donations.

Charitable projects

• Support the planning and coordination of secured charitable projects, liaising with project partners, monitoring delivery milestones, payment schedule and working with the wider team to maximise success.
• Compiling project monitoring/evaluation data from project partners to support excellent impact reporting.

Governance and operations

Together with the volunteer Charity Secretary:

• Coordination of Board meetings and AGMs, agendas, papers and minutes.
• Maintain central registers (trustee attendance/terms, governance documents, policies, risk, safeguarding training etc).
• Fulfil statutory and regulatory responsibilities, including filing of annual accounts.
• Advise trustees on governance best practice, in line with Charity Commission guidance.
• Management of policies, procedures and operational systems (including the CRM) that strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.
• Prepare Quarterly reports for the Board, and upon request.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and the Fundraising Code of Practice, including delivering the responsibility of data protection lead.
• Maintain relationships with volunteer Independent Advisors and commissioned service providers e.g. finance, HR and legal to ensure compliance/best practice.

About you

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on fundraising leader who can balance delivery with strategy and thrive in both steady-state and high-pressure contexts.

The role would best suit someone with: 

• Significant corporate fundraising expertise, with a strong track record in account management of complex, high-value partnerships
• Experience managing staff (minimum two people)
• Adaptable, proactive, and confident leading income delivery during fast-moving appeals
• Clear passion for DEC’s humanitarian mission and ability to inspire confidence with partners
• Trusts & foundations or major donor experience is desirable

The Role

the lives of young people.

How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. Employees including Team Leaders are homebased for Administration and meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.
