The Development Manager (Individual Giving) will manage the strategic development of Individual Giving, identifying opportunities to drive growth in this area. - Proactively manage a personal portfolio of prospects and donors to secure mid- and major-level gifts from Individuals, ensuring that tailored moves management strategies are employed to meaningfully move relationships towards solicitation.
The Development Manager (Trust and Foundations) will manage the strategic development of Trusts and Foundations fundraising, identifying opportunities to drive growth in this area. The post-holder will oversee income generation from grant-making organisations and ensure timely reporting to funders.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following essential requirements:
- Drive growth of Trusts and Foundations income especially at the five- and six-figure level, with a particular view to supporting unrestricted income and major projects in the organisation’s pipeline.
- Proactively manage a personal portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, regularly meeting and engaging with prospective funders to pitch proposals and check-in around expectations.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders to develop accurate, compelling funding applications in line with deadlines set by funders.
- Build lasting relationships with funders in order to establish opportunities for multi-year income generation.
- Drive the Trusts and Foundations prospecting process and increase the range of prospects approached for support, utilising prospect research tools and securing introductions from our network.

The Role
As our Deputy Shop Manager you will be responsible for setting up our brand-new shop in Hull, supporting the Shop Manager in implementing processes and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to support women and children who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes. In this role you will provide line management and support to staff who work with and help women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse and are staying in our Lambeth refuges. Our Lambeth refuges are culturally specific services for women and children of African and Caribbean heritage. New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To assist with handling all incoming requests for help, both by telephone and email, to listen to and record the needs of older and/or terminally ill people and their pets.
To identify individuals outside our charitable remit and refer them to other organisations that can offer assistance and always seek advice in the case of doubt.

About the Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work on their own, engage with stakeholders and have a desire to make a difference in promoting liver screening in community settings, and by increasing access to specialist care services.
Working in partnership with local hospital and community outreach clinics, the post holder will ensure that patients are supported through initial liver assessment and ongoing surveillance as required. The post will coordinate delivery of educational and awareness workshops and promote the delivery of liver screening in community settings
Working under the guidance of the South West Peninsula Peer Programme Manager, the post-holder will work alongside other identified partners to help develop a community outreach liver surveillance program and carry out HCC early detection activity and interventions across Plymouth.
We require a good standard of education, willingness to travel and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work. We are a patient-led organisation – you will be working in an environment where the patient/service user/client is placed at the centre of all that you do. This post will require extensive travel across the region and the post holder is required to hold a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle for work related travel.

Hours: This role is available as both a full time and part time role, but the candidate must be available for at least 3 days a week, with the expectation of flexibility in emergencies. The salary is up to GBP £41,000 gross annually, pro-rated based on a full-time equivalent, and dependent on experience.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced operations manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who will help strengthen the foundations of our organisation, as well as help us expand our growing network of partner organisations across the UK.
As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. Building on what has already been done, you will work directly with the CEO to help build the operational structure of Big Green Heart, and support its day-to-day operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will develop and implement operational policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.

You will manage the operational activity of our Big Green Heart experience days, supporting the CEO in the delivery of them.

You will work closely with our partner organisations who are using the Big Green Heart model, ensuring that the high standards and values of our teaching are maintained.

You will also work with the Big Green Heart team to onboard new partner organisations. You will work with them to understand their needs and secure buy-in.

You will collaborate with the trustees, who also contribute to tasks linked with Big Green Heart's development.

You will manage the budgeting and financial planning processes, working closely with the Treasurer.

You will be trained as a Big Green Heart facilitator with an expectation that you may be needed to facilitate a workshop during your time at the organisation.

You will participate in professional and networking events related to Big Green Heart’s field of intervention.

You will support staff members, trustees and volunteers, providing guidance and training in the operations of the charity as needed.

PURPOSE
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Training Manager to oversee the planning, design, delivery, and evaluation of our annual training initiatives. Collaborating across teams, she will identify needs, develop programs, and ensure staff and volunteer development across the organisation. The role involves creating engaging materials, using innovative methods, and monitoring program effectiveness. Aligned with organisational goals, the Training Manager will foster a culture of learning and inclusion, contributing to a skilled and motivated team dedicated to advancing the Women’s Centre Cornwall’s mission of empowering and supporting women in the community. The successful candidate will also lead on developing a fully sustainable external training arm for the charity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To review all existing training, update material and improve the organisation-wide training provision.
- Designing, organising and promoting a range of high-quality courses for staff and volunteers across the organisation.
- To deliver and facilitate TWCC training programmes, both internally and externally.
- Line management and supervision of 2 Training Coordinators, motivating and supporting them to meet their objectives.
- Coordination of annual training schedule across the staff team.
- Work closely with Managers, staff and volunteers to develop and deliver training courses
- To deliver train-the-trainer training both internally and externally
- Develop a suite of external courses with income-generation potential
- Work closely with the Head of Services and HR Manager to develop and implement workforce development plans and comprehensive inductions for new starters.
- Responsible for quality assurance and course evaluation.
- Manage TWCC’s relationship with the OCN and Internal Verifier including getting new courses accredited
- Writing training material and overseeing the creation of training materials and content.
- Creating, maintaining and updating a training matrix/log to include job specific mandatory training requirements.
- Promotion and coordination of TWCC training with external organisations.
- Carry out a skills audit across the organisation to increase capacity and in-house specialist training provision.
- Undertake regular organisation-wide training needs analysis for our staff and volunteers to identify current and future training needs for the organisation.
- Keeping up to date with latest training developments and research within the field of Violence Against Women and Girls and Trauma Informed Practice.
- As an advocate for diversity and inclusion, the Training Manager will incorporate principles of equity into training programs, ensuring that they resonate with the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our team.
