Kirklees Domestic Abuse Specialist Services (KDASS) is a partnership between Connect Housing, Women Centre, and RASAC Kirklees. Together we deliver specialist, trauma-informed, and person-centred support for people who have experienced harm through domestic abuse.

Grounded in the Kirklees Domestic Abuse Strategy, KDASS aims to:

• Empower people to live free from harm and fear

• Give advice and deliver personalised interventions to reduce the risk of harm or symptoms of trauma cause by Domestic Abuse through accessible, person-centred pathways

About the opportunity

As a vital first point of contact for people affected by domestic abuse, you will play a central role in ensuring that every person who reaches out to KDASS is heard, supported and connected with the right help at the right time. Through compassionate, person-led conversations, you will listen, explore and understand individual experiences, identify risks, and ensure a safe and supportive pathway into the most suitable specialist service within our partnership.

As part of our Triage Team, you’ll:

• Receive and respond to inbound calls into the KDASS central point of access, offering immediate emotional support, advice and guidance

• Review and process referrals received via our online portal and access system.

• Triage victims/survivors to the most appropriate service within agreed timeframes

• Input and maintain accurate case records in the Oasis system

• Identify and escalate any immediate safeguarding concerns through the appropriate pathways;

• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with partner agencies to ensure smooth referral pathways; and

• Work closely with the Programme Manager to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for development within the service.

Overall job purpose

 The National Office Administrator will support the organisation from our National Office. They will provide key administrative support to central teams, including:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support young people in supported accommodation in Twickenham

Position: Young People Support Worker

About the Role

As Young People Support Worker you will work as part of a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to vulnerable clients in supported accommodation. You will have a caseload of 5 clients aged 18-25, in a supported accommodation in Twickenham.

You will mostly lone work, with the Service Manager and Senior Progression Coach working from the office once a week each on average.

You may be required to work from our offices with the rest of the team in Lambeth/Croydon once a month as the business need arises or for training.

Key responsibilities:

· Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times, following safeguarding and emergency procedures as required.

· Hold a caseload as key worker, taking joint responsibility with the team for day-to-day client support.

· Lead on risk and needs assessments, develop SMART outcomes-based support plans, and review regularly.

· Deliver one-to-one and group support to build resilience and independence, both on site and in the community.

· Work in partnership with external agencies and involve clients in decision-making and community activities.

· Support clients to access education, training, employment, volunteering and benefit entitlements.

Reporting to the Senior Supporter Care Manager, you will deliver excellent customer care to supporters and potential supporters of Operation Smile UK. As an integral part of the Supporter Care team, you will successfully support the Individual Giving programme and wider fundraising activities, providing support to ever-increasing income and supporter stewardship for the delivery of increasing levels of unrestricted income for Operation Smile UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for existing supporters and new supporters who respond to our fundraising activities by phone, email, letter or in person, letter, or email delivering outstanding supporter care
• Liaise with supporters in timely communication via email, phone, and mail, with excellent customer care
• Prioritise answering incoming phone calls and escalate any difficult situations/complaints to the Senior Supporter Care Manager
• Support processing incoming phone and postal donations
• Assist with banking and processing incoming/outgoing post
• Be responsible for thanking our supporters, including by letter, email and phone, dispatch of information and fundraising materials
• Enter and maintain accurate records on our Database
• Maintain and assist with all types of donation processing, administration and Database record amendments/records being kept up to date. This will include Gift Aid status and contact consent requests

The focus of this role is to provide administrative support to ensure back-office functions are efficient and timely. You will work across our fuel poverty and retrofit projects supporting project managers and key staff to ensure administrative tasks are completed to a high standard. Pay and conditions.

Specific responsibilities

An applicant appointed to the role will be expected to:

• To sort HES inbound post, ensuring items are passed to the correct team or staff member.
• To coordinate HES outbound post requests, collating and printing information to send to households.
• To speak to households by telephone and triage households to appropriate HES projects.
• To book home visits for advisors and retrofit assessors, keeping calendars up to date with appointments, cancellations, and amendments. Accurately completing the home visits risk assessment when required.
• To assist with householder applications for grants and other funding schemes. Contacting clients to complete forms or collate paperwork or electronic evidence.
• To record client details and follow HES team guidance documents to assess the help and support needed.
• To update our client databases and other contact management systems accurately.
• Support the internal and external training programmes, such as booking inductions for new starters, distributing training materials after training sessions and making sure evaluations are completed.
• Help provide HR support for HES staff, through processing annual leave requests or sending appraisal reminders.
• Oversee the smooth running of HES processes, such as the complaints procedure or keep track of subscription packages.

High Trees Community Development Trust is seeking a collaborative and organised Lambeth Community Research Network (LCRN) Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the growth and coordination of a borough-wide partnership driving change in how research is designed and delivered.

About the Lambeth Community Research Network (LCRN) 

The Lambeth Community Research Network (LCRN), hosted and led by High Trees, brings together community organisations, research institutions, funders and public bodies to create a more equitable research ecosystem. 

The network aims to rebalance power in research, ensuring that communities – particularly those often underrepresented –  have genuine ownership and influence over how research is designed, delivered and used. 

Through collaboration, learning, and shared accountability, LCRN members are shaping a model for community-led research that leads to stronger insights, better decisions and more equitable outcomes for Lambeth residents.

Hours: 35 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

The Role

Salford Foundation is seeking a new Chief Executive to advance the charity’s strategic objectives and to implement our new 5 year strategy.   You will provide operational leadership on service development, future growth and direction of the charity.

- At least five years’ experience in digital fundraising and marketing in a charity or mission-driven organisation
- Experience in the end-to-end management of large-scale events

- Experience using analytics tools

This is an important role, where the ideal candidate will be working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, encompasses a wide range of responsibilities. Within the financial accounts team the Senior Accounts Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the financial systems and processes are operating as designed and within agreed timelines.

With the Senior Finance Manager the Senior Accounts Assistant will allocate appropriate finance tasks between this role and the Senior Finance Technician. They will also oversee the outputs of the financial accounts team to ensure they are to an acceptable standard. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive and adaptable approach, excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and relevant experience or transferable skills in team management and supporting change.
