Westway Trust is seeking a dedicated Head of Operations with a minimum of 5 years’ senior leadership or operational management experience in a multi-disciplinary organisation, ideally within a community, charitable, social enterprise or values-led setting.

• Attend internal and external meetings, including those that require representing the Trust publicly, in line with agreed strategies and perspectives.
• Monitor, update and ensure compliance with organisational policies and legal requirements (e.g. safeguarding, employment, health & safety, data protection) to build a positive work culture.
• Champion collaboration and integration across departments, ensuring consistent implementation of work priorities that align with community needs and objectives.
• Support a values-based culture that centres equity, sustainability, openness, courage, and integrity.
• Contribute to organisational development and support the process of communicating and managing change effectively at the Trust in line with agreed policies and frameworks.

Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes:

• Minimum 5 years’ senior leadership or operational management experience in a multi-disciplinary organisation, ideally within a community, charitable, social enterprise or values-led setting.
• Proven ability to lead, guide and motivate diverse teams and to support the professional growth of those who report to you as a line manager.
• Demonstrable experience of good practice approaches to conflict resolution, working in collaboration with others and encouraging honesty, transparency and open ways of working across teams that benefit the organisation’s effectiveness and efficiency.
• Excellent planning, organisation and performance management skills.
• Excellent writing and reporting skills, including the ability to summarise complex data and issues for decision-makers.
• Experience in researching, developing and managing departmental budgets.

Desirable Experience, Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience overseeing HR or education/community programmes is highly desirable.

• Degree-level education together with a recognised professional qualification in any of the fields this role covers - or equivalent lived/professional experience – is highly desirable.

The Diocese of Rochester is committed to equipping its churches and leaders for growth and transformation. As part of this, we are seeking a Missionally Healthy Places (MHP) Project Manager to join our Programme Team based at the Diocesan Office in Rochester.

The MHP Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of 15 strategically funded parish projects supported by the National Church. Working with the Head of Programmes, Diocesan colleagues, and parish representatives, the Project Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting processes across the MHP project. This role will be vital in supporting parish leaders and PCCs to lead and deliver their local MHP initiatives effectively.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and highly organised project manager, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to manage risk, track project outcomes, and support change across a variety of contexts. A background in monitoring and evaluation is important, and a desire to serve the mission of the Church will be key to thriving in this role. Experience of working with Church of England structures is desirable but not essential.

We are looking for an experienced, confident and proactive fundraiser to join our income generation team to raise more grant income from charitable trusts and foundations primarily, along with corporates and other partners. These include local schools and community organisations. Maintaining great relationships with these and other supporters Is a key requirement of this role. Role Purpose 

Working alongside our chief executive (who is an experienced fundraiser), an external larger bid writing resource and heads of programmes, the key objectives are to successfully generate income with grants valuing up to c.£10k in line with KLS fundraising plan and annual budget; develop and maintain relationships, and secure funding from, a portfolio of loyal and prospective supporters. Stewardship, reporting, pipeline and other database management tasks are other key features of the role.

• Take and circulate clear and concise minutes and action points.
• Draft and disseminate regular communications, including newsletters, reminders, surveys and feedback forms.
• Ensure information is accessible and aligned with Solace’s inclusive and psychologically informed frameworks.
• Manage the inbox of service user involvement and volunteer queries and escalate as necessary.
• Ensure all volunteer and service user information is managed confidentially and in line with Data Protection regulations.
• Keep volunteer and service user training, DBS, and participation records up to date.
• Support in monitoring engagement levels and preparing basic reports or summaries on SUI and volunteering.

About You

To be successful in the role of Volunteer & Service User Involvement Administrator you will be motivated, pro-active and supportive, with a strong commitment to person-centred work, volunteering and service user involvement, you will also need to bring with you the following skills and experience:

• Actively engage service users to contribute to the enhancement of service delivery
• Collaborate closely with the Service User Involvement and Volunteering Coordinator to support services in strengthening their approaches to service user involvement and co-production
• Assist the Coordinator in facilitating inclusive and effective volunteering recruitment processes
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse individuals across a range of settings

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of fundraising at Springboard, a national charity that helps people overcome barriers and build thriving careers in hospitality and tourism.

As our new Head of Fundraising, you will lead the development and delivery of an ambitious, sustainable fundraising strategy to support Springboard’s long-term goals. With a focus on relationship-led income generation, you will play a key role in diversifying income streams, securing high-value partnerships and driving innovation across our fundraising portfolio.

You’ll cultivate and manage meaningful relationships with a wide range of funders and supporters, including trusts, foundations, corporate partners, major donors and philanthropic individuals. You’ll also be a confident spokesperson and ambassador for Springboard, actively engaging new funders, attending sector events and positioning the charity as a leading voice in hospitality employment, skills and social mobility.

This role offers significant scope to innovate, developing new income streams such as digital campaigns, legacy giving and donor engagement programmes. You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team and lead a dedicated fundraising team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver an ambitious, long-term fundraising strategy to sustain and grow Springboard’s income across multiple streams.
• Lead and inspire the fundraising team, embedding a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.
• Secure and manage significant income from trusts, foundations, and public funders through proactive relationship-building and high-quality applications.
• Build and nurture long-term, high-value relationships with major donors, corporate partners, and philanthropic supporters.
• Act as a senior ambassador for Springboard, representing the charity at events, networking proactively and raising our profile within the sector.
• Identify and implement new fundraising approaches, including digital campaigns, legacy giving and donor engagement programmes.
• Oversee compliance and reporting, ensuring that all fundraising activity adheres to best practice, ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align fundraising opportunities with programme delivery, organisational priorities, and impact goals.
• Use data and insight to monitor performance, evaluate impact and continuously improve fundraising effectiveness.

Overall Objectives

• Working closely with the Head of Brand and Creative, develop and oversee brand, and integrated brand and marketing campaign activity, to build brand health, grow awareness of our widening work and support organisational objectives.

Ascension Community Trust (ACT) is a much-loved community-based charity in Custom House, Newham.  We deliver a range of projects including Newham District Foodbank (a Trussell Trust foodbank run by ACT and two community partners), welfare benefits advice, immigration advice, ESOL classes, work with adults with learning difficulties, as well as work with children, young people and their families.

This an exciting time for the programme with a SEND school being built next door to our centre, and with established relationships with several care homes – we expect that this programme will go from strength to strength.

The programme currently consists of:

• Supported Volunteering
• Weekly Community Meal
• Gardening Project with children from a local SEND school.

You will have the leadership skills to support a small team of sessional staff. You will be at ease in relating to adults and children with learning difficulties as well as their parents and carers. You will be passionate about the well being and integration of people with learning difficulties with an understanding of their needs.
