Floating Support Worker will provide time limited support to young people who hold their own tenancy which is at risk of being lost. Floating support Worker will give practical support to help a young person keep their tenancy, stay well, exercise choice and control in their care and lives and participate on an equal footing in the community..

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and identify areas for improvement – proactive data issue identification and problem-solving abilities

We’re looking for a hands-on and adaptable IT professional who combines strong technical expertise with a commitment to social impact. This role blends operational IT leadership with vocational training support.

You will take ownership of technical quality across our charitable refurbishment programme while working alongside teaching staff to support vulnerable adults in developing practical industry standard IT skills. Your contribution will directly support our mission to reduce the digital divide and create pathways into employment through technology.

Key Responsibilities

1. Refurbishment, Training & Technical Quality

• Act as the technical lead for all refurbished devices, ensuring consistently high standards for resale or donation
• Support teachers in delivering hands-on training, guiding learners through disassembly, diagnostics, repair, and software installation
• Carry out final quality control checks before devices enter the sales or donation pipeline
• Identify faults early and ensure devices are fully functional to minimise post-sale issues
• Evaluate incoming donations from corporate partners to determine refurbishment viability and processing requirements.
• Manage software installation and licensing (Windows/Office) across refurbished and internal machines

2. eCommerce & Sales Support

· Work closely with the Multi-Channel Sales Executive to support online sales activity

• Provide accurate technical specifications and condition assessments for listings
• Advise on pricing based on performance, battery health, and hardware configuration
• Help identify which devices are suitable for eBay versus community distribution
• Liaise with donor should there be any technical issues with devices
• Develop and implement ‘after-sales’ support for sold and donated devices.

3. Systems, Data & Infrastructure

• Oversee secure data wiping processes, ensuring full compliance with GDPR and data protection standards
• Manage the flow of devices through our CRM and inventory systems from donation to final use
• Maintain internal IT infrastructure, including network (Unifi Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN), patch panels, and server environment (IIS)
• Support hardware and systems including AWS environment, desktops, CCTV and display equipment
• Manage user accounts, backups, and disaster recovery processes to ensure continuity
• Provide general internal IT support across our systems

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Hardware to include laptops, desktops, tablets and smartphone hardware repair, diagnostics, and refurbishment
• Experience managing small networks (Unifi, LAN/WAN, patch panels)
• Familiarity with server environments and server management (IIS, SQL), CRM systems, and business tools such as Xero
• Solid understanding of data security, GDPR, and secure data sanitisation

Barnardo's Swansea Supported Lodgings Service is looking for a dedicated and motivated Support Worker (Project Worker 1) to join our small, dynamic team on a full-time basis (37 hours per week).

In this rewarding role, you'll be part of a service that provides safe, bespoke accommodation and tailored support to young people within welcoming host households across Swansea. You will be working directly with young people to help them develop the skills and confidence they need to move on to independent living.

• To offer direct support to young people living within a supported lodgings placement.
• To work co-operatively with the supported lodgings coordinator to plan and deliver support to young people.
• To work in partnership with young people to complete regular support plans and to act on these plans to develop skills for their future.
• To liaise with staff members from a range of statutory and voluntary services with regard to young people's needs
• To inform young people of their responsibility when placed in accommodation and to monitor their co-operation with the required standard of behaviour.

You will have: (Essential Criteria)

•  Experience of working with vulnerable young people and an awareness of the factors impacting on their lives (disadvantage, poverty, disability, substance use and misuse, mental health difficulties as well as loss, separation and attachment difficulties) this could be in a voluntary as well as paid setting.
• An understanding of service user support planning, monitoring and reviewing 
• Able to manage a workload and to prioritise competing demands.
• Experience of working within Safeguarding policies and protocols.

The Supported Lodgings service provides safe, supportive, short‑term accommodation for vulnerable young people aged 16 to 21 within ordinary family homes in the community. The service helps young people to develop and maintain the independence and social skills they need to successfully move on to more independent living. It also supports them to make positive use of education, training, employment, and social or recreational opportunities available to them. Above all, the service works alongside young people to help them plan for the next stage of their lives and feel confident in taking those next steps.

You must have the ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post.

Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) is a lifeline for children healing from the trauma of domestic abuse. We’re looking for a new Assistant Support Worker to join our team – helping guide children and families on their recovery journey.

Position: Bounce Back for Kids (BB4K) Assistant Support Worker

Location: The role is based in our Reading office with hybrid flexible working arrangements to provide for working at home and in the office. The role requires frequent travel across Reading, West Berkshire, Wokingham, South Oxfordshire and Vale of the White Horse to support our service users.

The fundamentals of this role

Manage guardians

• Ensure guardians meet our criteria and ready for life as a guardian.

• Monitor budgets and spending on property issues, to make good choices about spending and to inform budget planning and risk management.

• Provide clients with reports and information about their property as required.

Provide excellent client service

• Liaise closely with clients (building owners) to understand their needs and to keep them updated and informed about our work.
• Build strong day-to-day relationships with client contacts, working in a collaborative and service- focused way.
• Understand our client agreements and ensure that our service delivery meets the unique requirements of each contract.
• Identify opportunities to add value for our clients, encouraging the best social and financial value for all parties.

The Senior Supporter Engagement Manager will lead the strategic development of personalised, data‑driven supporter experiences that deepen engagement and maximise long‑term value. This role oversees the design and optimisation of multi‑channel supporter journeys, with a key focus on the creation and delivery of the email, SMS and What’s App communications, as well as our loyalty‑focused communications such as Cure Magazine, supporter newsletters and seasonal loyalty comm such as Christmas Cards. You’ll be a resident expert in marketing personalisation and data automation through martech tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporter Journey Development & Design

· Lead the end‑to‑end design of supporter journeys working collaboratively across all the organisation, taking an audience led approach in achieving our income, engagement and influence objectives, joining the dots and identifying opportunities for cross sell, upsell and integration of offers throughout a supporter's relationship with us.

· Oversea the mapping and optimisation of lifecycle journeys, ensuring they are insight‑driven, segmented, and aligned with organisational goals towards a cure.

Responsible for ensuring your teams are expert in our martech, and use testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate), data and performance insights to optimise journeys performance.

· Lead for automation of journeys within our martech, balancing efficiencies on resource with excellent supporter experiences.

· Lead for data, compliance and technical troubleshooting.

Data Selections & Audience Targeting

· Responsible for making audience targeting decisions ensuring accurate, timely, and insight‑led targeting for all fundraising and engagement activity.

· Working collaboratively with the BI team to ensure the development and application of data modelling and propensity models to predict supporter behaviour models that support tailored communications and efficient campaign delivery.

· Work closely with Data and Analytics teams to maintain data quality and optimise selection processes, and work with insight and BI to translate performance outputs into actionable recommendations for optimising our supporter journey performance.

· Ensure robust documentation, governance, and continuous improvement of data targeting and selection workflows

· Work collaboratively with the digital analytics team to ensure a strong connection between web and paid digital activity to avoid siloes across the stages of a supporter's experience with ARUK.

Supporter Loyalty & Stewardship Communications

· Lead the creation of loyalty‑focused communications that build long‑term relationships and increase lifetime value and deliver on our supporter experience principles – including communications such as Cure Magazine and E-newsletter.

· Work collaborative with Senior Supporter Relations Manager to develop stewardship frameworks that recognise and thank supporters at key moments – including the coordination of an ARUK approach supporter Christmas and Seasonal greetings.

· Ensure collaboration within these organisational supporter loyalty communications is effective leading for RACI and levels of approval.

· Lead for your team adhering to GDPR-aligned audience management and safe data activation.

Leadership & Collaboration

· Manage and develop a multi‑disciplinary team across your key responsibilities, fostering a culture of audience led, testing, continuous improvement and joined up thinking, planning and delivery.

· Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across fundraising, digital, brand, data, insight, info services, policy and campaigning, and research teams to ensure alignment and shared priorities.

· Responsible for keeping up to date on latest thinking, tools and technology for delivering effective Supporter Experiences, working closely with our Salesforce Technical Product Owner. And represent the charity in conferences, networking and influencing within the sector.

Knowledge, skills and experience needed:

About the role

As Senior Supporter Retention Officer (Loyalty and Regular Giving), you will lead the development of supporter-led, multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
