The Head of Commercial Partnerships is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and delivering Jericho's corporate engagement and partnership strategy.

The postholder will build and maintain relationships with employers, businesses, funders and strategic partners to create employment pathways for participants, generate income for Jericho's social enterprises and unlock wider support through corporate fundraising, social value partnerships, volunteering and advocacy.

Working across multiple areas of the organisation, the role will act as a bridge between Jericho's employability, enterprise and income generation functions, ensuring partnerships deliver meaningful social impact while strengthening the organisation's long-term sustainability.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Jericho's corporate engagement strategy and become a key external ambassador for one of Birmingham's leading employment-focused charities.

What you’ll be doing:

Strategic Leadership

• With support from the Director of Income Generation, develop and deliver Jericho's Commercial Partnerships Strategy.
• Identify opportunities to increase income, employment outcomes and social impact through external partnerships.
• Contribute to organisational strategy, business planning and growth objectives.
• Monitor partnership performance and provide regular reporting on outcomes, income generation and impact.
• Act as a senior ambassador for Jericho across Birmingham and the wider region.

Employer Engagement and Employment Pathways

• Build and maintain relationships with employers across a range of sectors.
• Create opportunities for work placements, work experience, internships and employment pathways for participants.
• Develop employer partnerships that support individuals facing significant barriers to employment.
• Work closely with People Support and Employability teams to understand participant needs and identify suitable opportunities.
• Promote inclusive employment practices and encourage employers to recruit from underrepresented groups.

Corporate Partnerships and Business Development

• Identify and secure new business opportunities for Jericho's social enterprises.
• Develop relationships with procurement teams, HR leaders, CSR teams and senior decision-makers.
• Promote the commercial services offered by Jericho's enterprises and identify opportunities for growth.
• Create strategic partnerships that deliver both commercial value and social impact.
• Support the development of new enterprise opportunities and routes to market.
• Identify opportunities arising from corporate social responsibility and social value commitments.

External Representation

• Represent Jericho at networking events, conferences, business forums and partnership meetings.
• Build Jericho's profile within Birmingham's business community.
• Deliver presentations and pitches to senior stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with key influencers, business leaders and strategic partners.

We are now seeking a passionate and person-centred Navigator to join our team. This is a role for someone who believes in potential, not limitations – someone who can walk alongside clients with empathy and determination, empowering them to take ownership of their employment journey.

As a Navigator, you will support veterans furthest from employment to engage in meaningful activity and take gradual steps towards work. This non-clinical role focuses on helping veterans with mental or physical health challenges overcome barriers affecting their lives, improve wellbeing and reduce social isolation.

Clients of the service may present with issues around housing, accessing relevant health care services, substance misuse, education and training, financial concerns, and benefits, amongst others. Using coaching, mentoring and strengths-based approaches, you will help individuals identify their goals, build resilience and move confidently towards lasting employment outcomes.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role. You will develop strong partnerships with regional organisations to generate referrals and address wider barriers such as mental health, housing or addiction, and share best practice with your colleagues in the team.

With a strong understanding of local labour markets and safeguarding practices, you’ll maintain high-quality case records, contribute to continuous improvement, and actively participate in team development. Adaptability, initiative and resilience are key, as we respond to the evolving needs of our clients and the communities we serve.

About the role

This is a newly redesigned role created following a review of Robin Cancer Trust's support services. 

The Community & Support Lead will play a key role in ensuring that people affected by testicular and ovarian germ cell cancers can access compassionate support, trusted information, meaningful connections and opportunities to shape our future work.

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

This role provides specialist interventions to women living in refuge with multiple needs who have experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual violence. Holding a caseload across a number of refuges providing emotional and practical support and advocacy to the women accessing the refuge.

You will build strong partnerships with a range of statutory and community organisations, including mental health services, substance misuse teams, housing providers, healthcare professionals and voluntary agencies, to ensure women can access the support they need to recover and thrive. You will lead wellbeing-focused activities across refuge services, facilitate group programmes and community meetings, and support women to engage with services, appointments and opportunities that promote confidence, independence and social inclusion.

Using Hestia's trauma-informed and psychologically informed approach, you will provide personalised assessments, safety planning and strengths-based support for women with complex needs. You will deliver crisis interventions, support women to access therapeutic, financial and housing-related support, and help them develop move-on goals that enable long-term recovery and independence. You will maintain accurate case records, uphold confidentiality and GDPR requirements, and work closely with refuge teams to share knowledge and build confidence in supporting women with multiple support needs.
