You will oversee the development and delivery of innovative fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and engagement campaigns, ensuring sustainable growth and increased visibility for the organisation.  As an expert in your field, you will work collaboratively across teams and with external partners, to champion Centre 404’s mission within local communities and beyond.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Centre 404’s fundraising strategy and drive innovative approaches across individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and community fundraising.  You will play a key role in shaping our income generation, increasing our visibility, and maximising our impact.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead Fundraising Strategy - develop and deliver a dynamic fundraising strategy across multiple income streams. Identify new opportunities and drive year‑on‑year income growth.
• Engage & Inspire Supporters - build strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and local communities.  Create compelling fundraising campaigns, events, and cases for support. Nurture long‑term supporter loyalty, including legacy and in‑memory giving.
• Secure Grants & Manage Bids - research and secure funding from trusts and foundations.  Monitor reporting requirements and maintain excellent funder relationships.
• Grow Community & Corporate Partnerships - network widely to raise Centre 404’s profile.  Secure financial support, gifts in kind and employee engagement.  Support individuals and teams to succeed in their own fundraising efforts.
• Strengthen Communications & Impact - work with the Communications Team to create engaging digital content and newsletters.  Champion consistent, mission‑driven messaging across all platforms.
• Lead with Purpose - Embed a fundraising culture across the organisation.  Implement a CRM system to manager data effectively. Contribute to organisational strategy as a member of the management team.

About You

• Substantial experience in fundraising from at least one of the following: trusts and foundations, corporates or individual giving.
• Substantial understanding of charity sector regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical fundraising standards.
• Knowledge of donor stewardship and supporter engagement strategies.
• A track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and campaigns.
• Excellent project management, data monitoring, and CRM experience.
• A proactive, innovative mindset and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Learning and development

• Responsible for creating and implementing a programme to identify training and development needs across Stewardship, using assessment and analysis tools.
• Systematically supporting individuals to develop their personal learning plans and help identify learning opportunities to support this.
• Embed competencies and behaviours into job roles to improve recruitment and performance processes.
• Mapping all learning across the organisation to create clear learning pathways and opportunities for progression
• Identify and investigate learning methods, and create recommendations to facilitate training, learning and development for individuals and teams. 
• Work proactively with team leaders to prioritise learning & development, designing and creating training programmes which are team or group specific. 
• Design and implement innovative ways of encouraging informal learning across Stewardship and creating a framework to ensure this becomes a core part of organisational culture.
• Develop and organise ongoing training for line managers to support them to lead effectively and in line with servant leadership behaviours.
• Create high quality and accessible guidance to ensure all colleagues are accessing a full range of benefits and opportunities to learn, grow and develop while at Stewardship.
• Facilitate and deliver training to staff, with support from other PC&P members or LT.  For example, on equality & diversity, or coaching skills etc.
• Monitoring and reporting on learning expenditure, working closely with team leaders to ensure learning targets are being met.

Employee engagement

• Lead on developing our employee listening opportunities:
• Planning, implementation, analysis, presentation and follow up of our regular staff pulse surveys, working with team leaders to implement findings.
• Create a programme of listening at key moments of the employee lifecycle, e.g. returning to work after maternity leave, exit interviews, through probation etc.
• Facilitate and work with other staff to deliver topic-led consultations, gathering insights on specific areas.
• Oversee the exploration and development of an employee forum to strengthen employee voice.  Working to develop terms of reference, organise meetings, and facilitate speakers and feedback.
• Evaluate the impact of activities using a range of evidence and metrics to identify insights, trends and patterns.
• Working with the Head of PC&P to identify, implement and roll out any appropriate software to underpin employment engagement and learning. 

You will have:

• At least three years experience in a learning and development role, preferably at a management level.
• Experience of leading and implementing learning initiatives within organisations and have a passion to support colleagues to embed learning and grow in their role. 
• Good knowledge of learning theories, and experience of applying these within the organisational context.
• Experience of delivering learning initiatives to individuals and groups at all levels of an organisation.
• Experience of establishing a range of employee voice channels, and ability to evaluate findings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, able to influence and engage a range of stakeholders.
• Commitment to your own personal development and learning.

The Alumni Engagement Manager is a key role dedicated to nurturing lifelong relationships between the School and its global alumni and parent(s) of alumni community. Summary of duties and responsibilities:

Engagement and events:

• Execute a successful series of annual alumni and parents of alumni events locally and in the US, ensuring robust attendance, and driving successful event-based fundraisers when applicable

• Plan and support annual milestone reunions

• Schedule and host alumni tours and visits to the campus

• Actively facilitate meaningful networking and connection opportunities among current students, employees, and alumni, including alumni-to-alumni engagement

• Oversee the alumni and Grade 12 mentor program with the Office of Student Advising

• Manage the onboarding of the graduating Grade 12 class into the alumni network throughout the students’ final year at ASL, with event engagement and a fundraising appeal, in partnership with the high school leadership team

• Coordinate with the Director of Development and Giving Manager to annually promote fundraising appeals and giving challenges at alumni events and in alumni communications

Communications:

• Execute alumni communications in coordination with the Director of Development and the Communications team

• Write, design, and publish a monthly alumni newsletter, London Calling

• Research, meet, and conduct interviews with alumni of note in order to write monthly in-depth feature stories in London Calling

• Serve as lead on alumni networking software (ASLConnects, a Graduway site)

• Develop alumni content for ASL social media and online alumni platforms.

• Partner with the Giving Manager to drive success and class engagement during Grade 12 class gift campaign drive each year

• Monitor and provide updates for alumni web pages 

• Assist with copywriting for alumni fundraising around the Annual Fund and other fundraising initiatives as requested by the Director of Development

• Work with the Web Editor to ensure that alumni pages of ASL website are up-to-date, relevant, and compelling

Additional responsibilities:

• Design and occasionally send mass broadcast emails and invitations related to alumni and/or parents of alumni, in coordination with the Director of Development

• In partnership with the Communications team, build monthly London Calling features on ASL (a Finalsite website), including news stories, in memoriam notes, and class notes

• Handle daily alumni inbox communications, including processing web login and alumni portal access requests

• Manage the Eagle mascot volunteers, and select student-facing events 

• Photograph alumni and parents of alumni groups and events

• As requested, provide occasional copywriting and copy editing support to the rest of the Development team, including non–alumni specific projects

• Perform any other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, including occasional weekend and evening hours for event coverage 

Essential qualifications/experience:

• A proven track record of event planning experience with high attention to detail, time management, budget oversight, specific management knowledge of AV and decor, and handling multiple event projects simultaneously

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and a problem-solver, positive and friendly, strong people management and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative team colleague and a self-starter

• Ability to adjust to dynamic event environments with ease

• A proven commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children

Desirable qualifications/experience:

• Demonstrable alumni relations experience, building and developing effective relationships

• Educated at degree level

• Independent and/or international school experience

Digital Communications & Engagement Manager

We are looking for a Digital Communications and Engagement Manager to drive forward the Disabled Children's Partnership's digital presence, supporter mobilisation, and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the Campaign Director, this role is crucial in ensuring the Partnership’s campaigns are visible, engaging, and impactful. 

Delivery of our campaign objectives depends on the contributions of our members and supporters. This role will be the central point of coordination of a complex programme of activity from multiple member organisations and teams. You will deliver excellent digital communications to members, provide support for all DCP meetings, and maintain accurate plans and calendars to track activity and report on progress.

This role is a fixed‑term position (30 hours per week, worked over 4 days) until June 2027. We’re open to discussing how these hours can best work for you. Some on‑call and out‑of‑hours working may be required.

The Disabled Children’s Partnership (DCP) is a major coalition of 130+ organisations united by a common vision: improved health, education and social care for disabled children, young people, and their families. Together we campaign to secure the policy change, public awareness, and political attention that disabled children deserve.

Our current focus is our high-profile Fight for Ordinary campaign. Together we are calling for reform of the SEND system, so that children with special educational needs or who are disabled can enjoy the ordinary things that other children take for granted, like having a nursery, school or college place, being safe in school, making friends, and taking part in activities in and beyond school.

• Design, implement, and manage an “always-on” social media plan to grow and engage DCP’s online audience, through our own channels and those of members
• Lead the development and delivery of digital mobilisation strategies and create compelling digital content (posts, graphics, short videos) aligned to campaign goals and organisational priorities.
• Plan and deliver supporter journeys, email campaigns, calls-to-action designed to build momentum and influence decision-makers, and manage the campaigner database
• Maintain strong relationships with member organisations, delivering regular communication, including newsletters, updates and briefings. 
• Plan and support the organisation of DCP meetings, including the CEOs group, steering group, policy, comms, campaigns, and public affairs sub-groups, and all-member meetings.

• Demonstrable experience in digital communications and social media management in a campaigning context.

A key component of this role will be developing relationships with colleagues across the University to include alumni engagement and volunteering across the University’s international strategic themes. We’re working with a well-established UK charity seeking a Community Fundraising Manager to grow income and deepen connections across two key regions. This is a hands-on, outward-facing role for someone who enjoys inspiring supporters, working collaboratively, and turning community enthusiasm into long-term impact.

The role

This role brings together community fundraising, supporter engagement and regional relationship management. As a Community Fundraising Manager you'll work closely with individuals, volunteer fundraisers, community groups and local businesses, helping them feel confident, valued and motivated to support the charity’s work.

While the Community Fundraising Manager will be aligned to North London as a primary base, the focus is very much on community presence, partnership building and stewardship, rather than being office-bound.

About the Blagrave Trust

Blagrave is a funder that works alongside young people, communities and partners to drive systems change towards social justice. As we launch our new strategy in 2026, we are expanding our place-based work in the Portsmouth area and seeking a Community Engagement Manager who can build strong relationships, elevate local insight and help us co-create new youth-focused initiatives.

Role Purpose

The Community Engagement Manager – Portsmouth will lead our engagement efforts across the city, ensuring Blagrave is deeply connected with local young people, community groups, grassroots organisations, local institutions and strategic partners. This role is pivotal to shaping our local programme as we enter a new strategic phase. A core requirement for this post is deep knowledge of and connection to the Portsmouth area. We are explicitly seeking someone rooted in the city—either by living locally, growing up locally, working within local networks, or with a demonstrable track record of community relationships.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Community Engagement

• Conduct or commission structured mapping of youth and community services and infrastructure, networks, gaps in provision, influencing structures and decision-making spaces, opportunities for partnership, service provision and innovation.
• Produce concise, accessible reports on local findings for internal and external stakeholders, presenting them where appropriate.
• Design and lead other community engagement activities as required, ensuring safeguarding and ethical practices are embedded
• Engage with communities in ways that minimise harm and uphold the wellbeing of everyone we work with.

Communications

• Draft and share relevant information about Blagrave with local stakeholders, using a tailored approach to suit different audiences, and accessible inclusive media; including printed and digital

Events

• Design, coordinate and deliver vibrant community events that centre youth and community participation, including a strategy launch event in 2026
• Manage logistics, partner involvement, young people’s and community participation, and event promotion.

Establish and Support Steering Committee

• Convene and develop steering group to govern our work in the area
• Support the group to determine their own terms of reference and ways of working
• Ensure the voices of young people experiencing injustice are central in shaping purpose and priorities.
• Provide ongoing coordination, communication and relationship management.

Stakeholder Relationship Building

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with a wide range of local stakeholders, bringing a keen understanding of power dynamics, including youth organisations, community groups and grassroots leaders, local authority teams, schools, colleges and educational partners, funders and voluntary sector networks, young people and community members
• Represent Blagrave locally, increasing our visibility and ensuring our work is informed by community insight.

Person Specification

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes Portsmouth - who has first-hand experience of its neighbourhoods, youth spaces, community leaders and institutions. You’ll be a natural connector who builds trust quickly and genuinely, with a deep commitment to anti-oppressive practice and to creating spaces where young people feel seen, heard, safe, and equipped to tackle the injustice they experience. You’ll bring curiosity, humility and care; listening before you act, valuing diverse lived experience, and willing to be led by the community

Essential

• Experience in youth work or youth engagement with young people experiencing injustice / oppression.
• Strong alignment with our values and approach
• Deep understanding of social justice and power dynamics in relationships
• Deep roots in the Portsmouth area, demonstrated through residency, long-term work experience, cultural familiarity and/or strong connections to local networks.
• Proven ability to build and maintain meaningful, values-led partnerships.
• Exceptional community engagement and relationship building skills.
• Experience in convening groups, hosting conversations and creatively facilitating collaborative processes.
• Ability to design and deliver vibrant events with attention to inclusion, accessibility and anti-oppressive practice.
• Strong organisational, planning and project-management skills.
