We are looking for a new Regular and Mid-Value Giving Officer – someone who brings a passion for hospice care and wants to play a part in establishing an integrated individual giving programme at the Hospice of St Francis.
This is an exciting opportunity to grow the Friends of St Francis, the Hospice’s regular giving programme, develop and test creative new approaches to regular giving and optimise the programme for the digital age.

The opportunity......
You will play a central role in growing and maintaining income across the Hospice and positioning us as the local charity of choice.
You will help establish an integrated individual giving programme, review and develop our regular giving offering, the Friends of St Francis, and establish a new mid-value segment.
This role will provide the opportunity to develop and test new ways to grow the supporter base whilst driving engagement and retention.
You’ll bring creativity and a results-oriented outlook, contributing to the wider success of fundraising at the Hospice.
The must haves......
- Fundraising Success: At least three years’ experience operating and growing income in an Individual Giving Role (or with relevant transferable skills)
- Data management and analysis: Strong data analysis skills with experience of approaches to data segmentation and developing data management systems and processes
- Project management and collaboration: Ability to manage complex projects, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
- Results orientated: Knowledge of developing and tracking KPIS and ability to drive regular giving that maximises ROI

The Role
Reporting to the Communications & Engagement Director, this is an exciting role focused on supporting and building PLP’s external profile and audience engagement. You’ll be responsible for: building relationships with journalists and securing media coverage, day-to-day content creation and the development of our digital channels. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, as well as partners and clients, to ensure our communications are timely, inclusive, and impactful.
This is an exciting time to join the team. You would be communicating PLP’s work at a time when many of the issues we work on – from immigration to AI – have never been more salient. About the role

This is role is offered on the initial basis of a 3 year contract, with any extension of that subject to funding.
As a Policy Officer at TransActual you will:
- Engage with elected representatives and civil servants.
- Support with the research for, writing and distribution of TransActual’s Parliamentary briefings.
- Research and write responses to consultations, reviews and calls for evidence.
- Keep our policy database up to date.
- Support the Policy Lead in creating and coordinating a Trans Policy Network.
- Support the delivery of a programme of work to support activists to develop their develop skills and expertise in policy work.
- Work collaboratively with others in the LGBTQ+ sector and beyond on policy matters.
- Work with TransActual’s programmes officer to create information and training resources for trans people on rights and protections.
- Coordinate TransActual’s policy volunteers to ensure they’ve got what they need to be able to support our work.
An in depth understanding of trans people’s lived experiences and an ongoing commitment to bringing about positive change for all trans people in the UK is absolutely essential for this role. This understanding can come from your own lived experience. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to equity, particularly in relation to race equity and disability equity.

About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to play a key role in driving visitor growth at Slimbridge Wetland Centre, one of the most unique and inspiring wildlife destinations in the UK.
In this exciting role, you’ll lead on the delivery of both year-round and event-specific marketing campaigns, working across a range of channels to attract, engage, and inspire new and returning audiences. You'll be part of a passionate team dedicated to conservation, education, and unforgettable visitor experiences.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive footfall and awareness through targeted marketing and communications campaigns.
- Deliver high-impact PR strategies to raise the profile of Slimbridge Wetland Centre locally and nationally.
- Create engaging, high-quality content for digital and print platforms, aligning with WWT brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including learning, visitor experience, and fundraising—to support cross-organisational goals.
- Evaluate campaign performance and visitor insights to continually improve marketing effectiveness.
About You
The ideal candidate will be
- Qualified to a degree level and have proven experience in marketing, communications or PR—ideally in a visitor attraction, tourism, or conservation setting.
- Possess strong copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a creative eye.
- Confident working across multiple channels including social media, email marketing, and traditional media.
- Passionate about visitor marketing and connecting people with the natural world.

This is a full time position working 37.5 hours a week, 5 days in 7 with a minimum of 3 days a week on site, on a rota basis. There will be some weekend working required (approximately 1 in every 4 as part of the Duty Management Rota)

About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO and as part of the senior leadership team, you will provide compassionate and strategic leadership across all operational areas – including mental health, substance use, and outreach – the Director of Service Delivery ensures services are safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed, and that they reflect the diversity and lived experience of the communities we support.
You will hold accountability for service performance, safeguarding, quality assurance, and system partnerships. They work closely with the CEO, the Director of Operations (internal systems and transformation), and the Head of Finance and Resources to ensure operational delivery is effectively supported by infrastructure, systems, and financial stewardship.
Who We’re Looking For
Proven track record of delivering high quality, person led and socially impactful services and managing internal functions
Senior operational leadership experience in health, care, VCSE or related sectors
Experience in managing service compliance and staff wellbeing
Demonstrated success in leading performance improvement and impact measurement
Strong partnership working experience across statutory, VCSE and community systems
Budget management, including responsibility for service level budget setting, monitoring and decision making
Deep understanding of safeguarding frameworks, regulation and operational risk
Strong leadership and coaching skills rooted in empathy, empowerment and inclusion
