Over 2,500 organisations (centres) across the education and community sectors are already on their leadership journey with us. With an aim of reaching over 200,000 young people per year through our leadership offer by 2028, this role will be integral to ensuring a centre’s journey with the Leadership Skills Foundation is an effortless one.

Having recently settled into our new identity and expanding the portfolio of programmes we have on offer, this role will work closely with our Business Development team, Admin team and Quality Assurance team to ensure that our existing delivery centres are sufficiently supported to forge a sustainable leadership pathway.

We’re looking for someone to adopt a consistent relationship management process to support all staff at existing delivery centres and to on-board new centres. Organisation and efficiency, along with a clear communication style and an ability to effectively manage data are essential skills for this role. This role necessitates that the successful candidate be creative with their ideas to enable the successful relationship management of our centres, while also effectively handling phone calls, emails and queries via an online live chat function.

Role Purpose:

1. Provide appropriate support to centres when they contact the Leadership Skills Foundation.
2. Establish consistent and robust engagement and relationship management practices including logging touch points and interpreting data with a variety of our customers.
3. Respond to centre enquiries, help resolve technical issues and potential issues to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support via effective relationship management strategies to support customers with any queries and issues across the customer journey in line with the Customer Experience Strategy.
• Proactively seek opportunities to create and maintain strong working relationships with centres that seek support from the organisation via central communication channels (phone, emails and live chat).
• Provide proactive and customised centre outreach that constantly seeks to elevate the experience of existing centres including recording accurate and timely customer intelligence.
• Resolve programme/service issues, troubleshoot challenges and support centres that are having difficulty accessing resources, registering their course(s) and/or learners.
• Support centres as they work through various policies and procedures. For example, the maintain and withdrawal procedures.
• Support Business Development strategies to meet agreed objectives and budgets.
• Utilise insight and reporting systems (various) to provide analysis and updates in relation to learner registrations and other centre insight metrics.
• Ensure sales planning, pipeline and forecasting exercises are completed on a regular basis, including annual budgeting to maximise learner and programme registration opportunities.
• Any other centre-facing tasks that need completing at various times of the year.
• To carry out any other duties as requested to support the work of the Leadership Skills Foundation commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of the post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

You’ll be: (Responsibilities):

• Designing implementing and evaluating a best-in-class staff volunteering programme which strengthens the Foundation and Club’s community impact.

About the Role

The Engagement Officer is responsible for identifying and maintaining meaningful relationships with global stakeholders, including governmental, non-governmental and educational institutions. We are tackling the greatest threats working donkeys face locally and around the world, from the donkey skin trade to challenges working animals face in disasters. By coordinating engagement around sustainable development, wildlife crime, One Health and One Welfare agendas, the Engagement Officer will enable the cohesion within the member groups that the Sanctuary are currently part of and inspire new ways of working. This includes the International Coalition of Working Equids (ICWE) and developing and building new coalition opportunities around working animals.

Principles duties include:

· Build strong internal and external partnerships with global stakeholders, including governmental and non-governmental organisations to grow existing and build new relationships.

· Coordinate and assist with accreditations and processes that support access in policy forums.

· Assist in the coordination of coalition and alliance engagement opportunities globally.

· Lead on agreed coalition / alliance priorities such as creating material, meeting with partners and planning international events.

· Create supporting materials and reports for stakeholders that advance the influencing agenda.

· Engage with, and support, team processes around strategic planning for external events and activities.

The globally working team is spread across the UK and overseas. While the post is nominally linked to the Sidmouth office, there is only an occasional requirement to travel (around 3–4 times per year) to Sidmouth or another UK location for team meetings or organisational events.

Member & External Engagement

• Project manage GISF’s annual member forum, ensuring coordination of all contributing staff, guest speakers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee the delivery of GISF’s flagship conference convening NGOs, UN agencies, donors and private sector partners.
• Lead the delivery of additional engagements, including GISF’s programme at the Humanitarian Networks and Partnership Week annually in Geneva, high-level roundtables with donors and states, webinars, and more.
• Represent GISF at sector events with professionalism.
• Contribute to GISF’s influencing work and policy level engagements, working closely with the Head of Policy and Engagement on advocacy efforts, policy messaging, and strategic outreach.

Membership administration

• Proactive scoping of new members and engage with interested prospective members on application process.
• Manage the full membership application pipeline, including due diligence and coordination with the GISF Steering Group to approve new members.
• Working closely with the Communications & Engagement Officer to onboard new members, ensuring they are set up across all relevant systems.
• Track, update, and report on member engagement using Salesforce.

Commercial engagement

• Lead on immediate sponsorship efforts for the 2026 Global Conference, including identifying prospective sponsors, developing tailored sponsorship materials, coordinating follow-up, and ensuring sponsor visibility requirements are integrated into conference planning.
• Support GISF’s wider commercial partnership programme by identifying and nurturing new leads through structured outreach and consistent relationship management.
• Coordinate closely with the Executive Director on sponsor meetings and pitches.
• Maintain accurate tracking of leads and progress on Salesforce.
• Document lessons learned, refine outreach processes, and contribute to the development of a partnership strategy and workflow.

Job Purpose 

• Oversee the delivery of a high-quality programme of community activity and engagement across three London Boroughs.

• Develop and grow our community engagement offer to ensure the needs and preferences of older people are being met. 

• Manage, lead and motivate a team of experienced community engagement officers, centre managers and lunch club coordinators. 

• Ensure a well-evidenced, high-quality and responsive service is delivered to clients with professionalism.

Key Tasks 

• Day-to-day management and leadership of the Community activities team comprising paid staff and volunteers, ensuring a strong team culture and their ongoing professional development.

• Support and develop your direct reports to include supervision, annual appraisal, planning of continued professional development opportunities and training needs. 

• Support and develop your team including team meetings, consultation and feedback sessions and establishing a culture of continual improvement.

• Collaboration with managers across the organisation to ensure consistency of management practice and joined-up service delivery.

• Work with the AUKEL Communications team to plan and deliver accessible programme information to a range of audiences across multiple channels.

• Lead and oversee the monitoring, recording and reporting of all activity within the programme area; ensuring the service is meeting key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying and flagging any concerns and taking proactive action to address this; ensuring that internal and external stakeholders receive accurate and timely reports.

• Work collaboratively with other agencies providing aligned services, opportunity-spotting, cross referrals, maintaining excellent working relationships with all external stakeholders.

• Support the Head of Community to ensure that evidence of the wider impact of our offer is spotlighted and presented to a wide range of stakeholders.

• Manage the budget, sign-off expenses, and ensure projects are delivered to budget, liaising with the Finance Department as necessary. 

• Support the Head of Community with generating funding e.g. being actively involved in consultation of possible projects, providing activity data, opportunity spotting, and/or supporting the production of tenders. 

• Contribute to the organisational objectives contained with AUKEL’s 5-Year strategy and actively identify opportunities for development, fundraising and systems improvement.

• To undertake any other duties within the competence of the post hold as may be required from time to time for the smooth running of Age UK East London.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Officer to join the fundraising team at the Batten Disease Family Association CIO (BDFA).

The BDFA, founded in 1998 is the only patient organisation in the UK for families affected by Batten disease, a rare and terminal neurodegenerative condition that affects children and young adults. The BDFA offers informed guidance and support to families and the professionals who work with them, as well as actively raising awareness, and promoting research into the management of Batten disease to improve patient care pathways and ultimately find a cure.

This is an exciting time to join the charity, which has grown to offer additional support services for families affected by Batten disease and to implementing a long-term strategy to develop its advocacy, education and research capabilities. We’re looking for an individual who has some experience in fundraising, particularly leading on all aspects of community fundraising, developing and nurturing relationships with volunteer fundraising groups and individual supporters. The successful candidate will also work alongside our Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer to support our Trusts and Foundations income generation.

- Ability to contribute to the overall Trusts and Foundations income stream, including proactively researching and identifying grant funding opportunities

We’re looking for a Digital Communications Officer to support the Digital Communications Manager in promoting, strengthening, and protecting the reputation of the Academy by delivering and evaluating digital campaigns across key communications channels that engage and influence new and existing audiences.

You will achieve this by creating high-quality, engaging written and visual content that is on brand and optimised for different audiences and digital channels used by the Academy, including social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Bluesky and YouTube), email and our website. About the role

We’re looking for a highly organised, creative, and proactive Events Officer to coordinate and deliver our programme of in-person and online events.

You’ll be the go-to person for making sure everything runs smoothly — from planning and logistics to communication and on-the-day delivery. Working closely with other part-time staff, volunteers, and local event hosts, you’ll play a key role in bringing the BMS community together.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years’ experience delivering successful events in a charity, membership, or learned society setting.
• Is confident running both in-person and virtual events.
• Brings strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Is great at building relationships and working with volunteers, working groups and committees.
• Is comfortable working independently from home, while staying connected with a remote team.
• Has experience with event tools, databases and GDPR-compliant data handling.
• Can create professional-looking event materials using Canva (or similar).
• Desirable: a background or interest in natural sciences or mycology would be ideal, but curiosity and enthusiasm are just as valuable.
