We're now looking for an exceptional Senior PR and Press Officer to help us amplify voices, challenge persistent, negative narratives around the social security system, and shift public attitudes about financial insecurity. Ideally, you’ll already have solid PR and press experience within a charity or comparable organisation’s press office, excellent media contacts, and the strategic mindset to put people’s real lives and complex challenges front and centre in your storytelling.

You’ll be someone who writes clearly and persuasively, handles sensitive topics with genuine care, and who’s excited by the challenge of finding creative ways to engage diverse audiences. Your strong relationships with journalists will help us ensure the voices of people facing financial insecurity are represented accurately, widely, and compassionately in the media.

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;

- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)

Job Purpose

First Steps ED provide person-centred support to our service users for a range of disordered eating and eating disorder presentations.

The Head of Fundraising and Communications will lead on the development and implementation of strategies to diversify and grow our income streams, strengthen our brand, and increase engagement with key audiences. The Head of Fundraising and Communications will provide line management and strategic direction to the fundraising and communications team, with accountability for delivering income targets and enhancing the charity’s profile and impact.

• Manage our portfolio of events: We have an emerging trend in challenge events, and we manage these carefully and mindfully especially long-distance sporting events. This requires key insights in trends and work with our marketing team on key insights.

Qualifications:

You will work closely with key stakeholders in Performance and Insight, Finance and Mass Engagement to drive sustainable change.

In this role, you will: 

• Manage the day-to-day data operations (including data imports, Direct Debit submissions, submitting Gift Aid claims to HMRC)
• Line Manage two Data Operations Officers, providing support, coaching and mentoring 
• Manage the workload and responsibilities of the Data Operations Team, ensuring that tasks are carried out on schedule and within agreed SLAs 
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy through automation or system enhancements 
• Build strong operational relationships with key stakeholders in the Data Engineering and CRM teams, as well as with WaterAid’s third party agencies, to identify areas for improvements and rapid problem fixing, particularly in relation to managing data rejects

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

Executive Assistant

This role will support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the CEO’s office, helping manage key processes, communications, and external relations. · Managing the CEO’s diary, inbox, travel and meeting logistics
