About the role
The Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role within the Marketing and Communications team, leading the day-to-day delivery and performance of our digital channels. This includes overseeing website content and UX, managing digital advertising campaigns, optimising SEO, and producing digital content particularly short-form video for our key audiences. The role will also work closely with internal teams to support campaign and project delivery, while contributing to a consistent and data-led digital approach across the organisation. This position reports to the Senior Digital and Marketing Manager and will work alongside colleagues and suppliers to improve brand visibility and engagement across all digital touchpoints.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a hands-on digital marketer with experience in delivering integrated campaigns across web, email, and social platforms. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills in areas such as paid media buying, analytics, and search engine optimisation, with a proven ability to drive engagement and deliver measurable results. A working knowledge of video editing and CMS platforms (particularly WordPress) is also important. The ideal candidate will be analytical, collaborative, highly organised, and bring a creative mindset to optimising digital content and experiences for our audiences.
Role purpose
This role exists to drive the performance and quality of WorldSkills UK’s digital marketing. The postholder will be responsible for delivering high-quality, audience-focused content and campaigns that strengthen the organisation’s reach, improve the user experience across our platforms, and help generate increased awareness and participation in our programmes. By bringing key digital functions back in-house, this role will enhance efficiency, support cost savings, and ensure WorldSkills UK remains visible, competitive, and aligned with strategic priorities in the Further Education (FE) and skills sector. The postholder will also play a key role in ensuring our digital content reflects our organisational values, including accessibility, inclusion and relevance to diverse audiences across the UK.
Key tasks and responsibilities
Website management:
- Lead the day-to-day management of the website, ensuring it is fully optimised for SEO, UX, and Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) to enhance the user journey and help deliver WorldSkills UK’s strategy.
- Create, curate, and publish engaging, on-brand multimedia content, including text, images, and videos, to maintain a dynamic online presence.
- Conduct comprehensive audits focusing on CRO, usability, accessibility, and site functionality, with strategic guidance from the Senior Digital and Marketing Manager; prioritise actionable insights to drive ongoing improvements.
- Monitor and analyse website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and providing insights to optimise user engagement.
- Manage and update the Content Management System (CMS), ensuring functionality, security, and mobile friendliness, while coordinating with developers to troubleshoot technical issues and introduce new features.
- Take ownership of SEO and Pay Per Click (PPC) strategies, leading monthly reviews to monitor performance and increase website reach.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, providing an inclusive experience for all users.
Social media and paid advertising:
- Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns to support WorldSkills UK’s marketing objectives.
- Work with our PPC agency to increase traffic to the website.
- Align paid social media efforts with organic strategies, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all channels.
- Collaborate with the Senior Digital and Marketing manager and external agencies to deliver high-performing campaigns, including briefing, asset preparation, and performance reviews.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness.
- Conduct A/B testing on ad creatives and targeting to refine strategies and maximise impact supported by the Senior Digital and Marketing Manager.
- Manage campaign budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to meet WorldSkills UK’s Key Performance Indicators.
Video editing and multimedia:
- Collaborate with the other members of the Marcoms team to plan, produce, and deliver engaging multimedia content, including videos and photography, that aligns with campaign objectives and supports both digital and organic communication strategies.
- Ensure video content is high quality and compliant with accessibility best practices, including subtitling and captioning.
- Manage video and image content libraries, ensuring materials are properly labelled and easily accessible for cross-platform use.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by ensuring all content reflects a wide range of voices and perspectives.
- Regularly evaluate content performance, using analytics to inform improvements and innovations.
- Edit WorldSkills UK video content for use at events, on social media and web.
Reporting and insights:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing efforts, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Analyse marketing data to identify trends, inform strategy, and drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute insights from competitor research to ensure WorldSkills UK remains innovative and differentiated in its digital approach.
- Stay informed on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to enhance campaign delivery and audience engagement.

This role is office based (as above) but with flexible hybrid working. It is expected that the postholder will attend the office once or twice a week.
Full time working hours are a minimum of 35 hours per week, normal working hours are 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday although we pride ourselves on having a flexible approach to our working practices and service delivery and are happy to discuss flexible working options, with suitable candidates.

We are now recruiting for a Lead Coach in Brighton - an outstanding opportunity to work as part of a local church to deliver the Spear Programme.
You’ll be working with the local church to manage the delivery of Resurgo's award-winning Spear Programme. Over the last 20 years, Spear has supported more than 10,000 young people across the UK with the work-ready skills and mindset they need to succeed in employment, no matter the challenges they face. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively
- Handling safeguarding
- Taking a lead on rating the work readiness of the trainees and making sure data is inputted and used correctly on salesforce
- Tracking trainee progress on the dashboards
- Liaising with volunteers for key programme engagement events such as mock interviews and external panels. Leading on briefings and communications with these volunteers
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees
Training the Graduate Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Graduate Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and possibly supporting on leading internal training such as Grad Coach Training
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run in partnership with a local church partner, you will establish a strong personal connection with the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

Duties
Service Provision
- Promote the new service across the Vale of Glamorgan.

- Take clients out for community outings, shopping trips, social groups, and short walks to encourage confidence.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that will shape how the charity uses data, research and insight to drive significant growth in income from major donors, corporate partners and other high-value supporters. You will lead the Prospect Research function, developing and delivering a proactive, insight-led prospect research strategy to support the charity’s ambitious fundraising goals, as well as working to identify potential major donors amongst individuals, trusts and corporates.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in prospect research including identifying and prioritising prospects, network mapping, ethical screening and developing gift capacity ratings. You will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a collaborative outlook and a high attention to detail. You will also possess excellent analytical and communication skills. The Association of Directors of Public Health (ADPH) is a Charity and Company Limited by guarantee and is the representative body for Directors of Public Health (DPH) in the UK. The Association has a rich heritage, its origins dating back more than 160 years. It seeks to improve and protect the health of the population through collating and presenting the views of DsPH; advising on public health policy and legislation at a local, regional, national and international level; facilitating a support network for DsPH; and providing opportunities for DsPH to develop professional practice.
We are now looking to appoint to the full-time, permanent position of Development Programme Manager. The successful candidate will work with our Head of Development and Engagement to develop and deliver our comprehensive membership offer to our range of members.
In addition to managing their work programme they will act as Project Manager for some ADPH events, participate and lead cross team projects and line manage and oversee the work of our Project Administrators and Coordinators.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate experience of working in a training and leadership development environment, as well as a background in event and workshop management. Working with our senior stakeholders will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, alongside a proven ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
The Association operates a hybrid working model, with an office in central London for staff who wish to attend, and welcomes candidates from across the UK. This is an opportunity to lead an award winning communications team – Third Sector Communications Team of the Year in 2024 – that’s tasked with changing how we think about hospice, end of life and palliative care in the UK.
As the charity representing the UK’s 200+ hospices, we have secured ourselves a significant national platform in the past year or two, with regular, top-tier national media, and online campaigns which have forced the government to act.
With assisted dying legislation progressing across the UK, now is a critically important moment for the public – and for politicians – to better understand what hospice care is all about, and the challenges we face.
As part of our mission to promote and protect hospice care for all, it is critical that our communications team keeps it high on the agenda. We’ve built huge momentum – whether with regular national TV news coverage, a rapidly growing online supporter base, or though our recently overhauled brand. But we need a savvy, politically switched-on Head of Communications and Campaigns to keep that going, and to make it pay off.
Hospices are amongst our most loved community charities, and our job as the national charity for hospice care is to rally the public – as well as major donors like companies and trusts – to support these brilliant organisations.
You’ll need a strong eye for a story, and an integrated understanding of the full spectrum of communications, campaigns and marketing. You’ll likely be a specialist in one area – which is fine – but we want someone who can join the dots, spot the opportunities, and inspire a team of specialists.
Hospices are under huge pressure. Funding is tight, and demand is surging. This is your chance, in the coming years, to play a leading role in fighting for hospices to get the support they need – from government, from the media, and from the public.

Overview
Barts Health NHS Trust provides maternity and neonatal care for women and birthing people and their babies each year, providing all aspects of obstetrics and midwifery care in our labour ward, midwife-led birth centre and home birthing service.
NEL Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) listens to the experiences of women, birthing people and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care. MNVPs ensure that service users’ voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System and Integrated Care Board. This influences improvements in the safety, quality, and experience of maternity and neonatal care. We work to ensure that every woman and birthing person on the maternity and neonatal pathway has a chance to have their voice heard. We do not speak for them.
We are recruiting a Maternity Lead who brings the expertise of women/birthing people with lived experience of maternity services at Barts Health NHS Trust into the heart of the development of every aspect of maternity and neonatal services at the trust.
The role of MNVP Lead is key to providing inclusive and collaborative leadership and ways of working, ensuring that all women and birthing people and their families’ views are heard and acted on. This is an exciting opportunity to review, shape and improve services and make a real difference to women, birthing people and their families.
This is a paid, self-employed job requiring 1.5 days per week (worked flexibly where possible). Working with the MNVP is an opportunity to become part of a vibrant team, improving care for our service users and enabling voices and engagement with our community.

The role
We are seeking an Outreach Officer to be a valued member of parkrun’s Global Health and Wellbeing Team.
The focus of parkrun UK’s Health and Wellbeing Team is to improve inclusivity, increase the diversity in participation and maximise the health and wellbeing impact of parkrun across the UK.
Together with the junior parkrun Impact & Engagement Manager, the Outreach Officer will devise, implement and support the evaluation of Health and Wellbeing projects and campaigns across the North West. The focus will be on growing and diversifying participation in junior parkrun, especially focusing on those marginalised from opportunities to take part in social, physical activity, and who may be inactive/less active or in lower states of health.
