What will you be doing?

You will join a team helping to launch and promote the E‑Save climate‑action app and improving its content and user experience. 

By supporting creative campaigns, you will also help the team raise the profile of Eco Centre, and support local outreach initiatives, volunteer recruitment and communications, and stakeholder engagement. 

Your work will help people discover and use the app to take practical climate action at home.

Are you passionate about social media and can lead a small team? We're looking to recruit a Lead Volunteer for our Social Media Team. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for promoting a small charity supporting a rare condition and has the ability to support a volunteering team as well as plan and use platforms and tools for social media including Canva, Google Drive and other digital platforms.

The Social Media Team develops and promotes Burning Nights CRPS Support’s communications online, using social media platforms as widely as possible, in order to maximise our impact and to inspire actions in the public, healthcare professionals, communities and businesses. The promotion of our activities will raise awareness of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and provide support and empowerment to the CRPS community. Role Description 

Are you passionate about changing the way we treat animals? Do you want to help reduce environmental damage? Do you want to inspire people to enjoy healthy vegan food that both looks good and tastes great? 

The Vegan Society aims to make veganism more accessible. We help people to adopt a vegan lifestyle by supporting individuals, policy- and decision-makers, caterers, manufacturers, healthcare professionals and the media. 

Why do we need you? 

Our nutrition team consists of two registered dietitians (we are currently recruiting for the second role). Our small team provides up-to-date nutrition and health resources on our website and evidence-based nutrition and health information for the charity’s campaigns. We also answer questions relating to vegan health and nutrition from the general public, the vegan community, caterers, and health and nutrition professionals via phone calls, email and post. 

Other areas of responsibility include attending events and giving talks on the latest vegan health and nutrition topics, writing articles, and speaking to the media about vegan health and nutrition. We are also responsible for developing recipes and blogs for various projects. 

We are a busy team and the support of a pharmacy volunteer would be invaluable. 

What does the role involve? 

We are looking for a volunteer who is a pharmacist or has a pharmaceutical background to support our nutrition team to handle medicine queries on an ad hoc basis. 

The specific tasks we would like the volunteer to take on are: 

• Collating and responding to medicine-related queries for a number of health conditions, including, but not limited to, osteoporosis, iron-deficiency anaemia, the menopause and thyroid disorders. 
• Researching ingredients and contacting manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies to find products suitable for vegans or without animal ingredients. 
• Comparing medicines suitable for vegans versus those containing animal-derived ingredients (e.g. side-effects, ingredients, costs). 

What training and support are available? 

The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with competency in pharmacy and responding to enquiries, so training in these areas would not be required. However, we are always willing to invite volunteers along to staff training when possible and to deliver training on specific skills inhouse, as identified throughout volunteering. This role is remote and therefore support from the Dietitian will be available through email and phone calls as required. Monthly or quarterly reviews with the Volunteering and Engagement Officer will also be conducted to ensure the volunteer is happy in their role.

Locate International are looking to expand our Media Team on a completely voluntary basis, with an average time commitment of around six hours per week.

Founded in 2019, we assist families in locating loved ones from unsolved missing persons cases and in identifying unknown deceased individuals.

By recruiting three volunteers - each specialising in TikTok, YouTube or Reddit - we can spread more breadcrumbs & ensure every case we take on has the best possible chance of being solved.

Our Media Team is a close-knit group of volunteers who meet via Zoom every Tuesday evening at 7pm (for one hour). Attendance at these meetings is important so we can support our Investigation Teams, plan appeals, and create a clear plan of action for the weeks ahead. We appreciate that availability can vary, but we ask that you attend as many sessions as possible to stay connected with the team and cases.

You will champion your platform - posting, monitoring engagement, and coming up with fresh ideas to help raise awareness of our cases. Sometimes this will be broad-reach content; other times it will involve niching down to target specific audiences who may hold vital missing pieces of the puzzle.

Someone who understands trends, who can hook viewers in the first few seconds and encourage comments and sharing. You must be confident editing content directly within TikTok.

YouTube Content Creator

Someone who can create engaging, informative videos that encourage interaction. You should be confident with professional video editing, understand branding, and know how to craft compelling titles and optimise tags. Viral potential is a big plus.

Reddit Content Creator

A significant percentage of our website traffic comes from Reddit, yet we don’t currently have an official presence there. If you understand Reddit etiquette, the do’s and don’ts, and what’s involved in creating and managing subreddits - we need you.

• Sharing RNIB’s information & initiatives so people know we’re here for them.
• If you have a personal link to sight loss, sharing your experience during the session to help give a tangible example of how local people can make a real difference.
• Telling us about any activities you have engaged in via a Microsoft form.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Partnership Development

• Develop and deliver a global corporate partnerships strategy aligned with organisational priorities.

• Identify and prioritise partners across sectors and geographies.

• Create compelling partnership propositions that drive mutual value and long-term engagement.

Technical Resourcing & Capacity Support

• Build partnership models focused on skills transfer, technical expertise, and capacity building.

• Negotiate agreements securing pro bono support, secondments, advisory services, and knowledge transfer.

• Work with National Management Teams to identify and meet technical and operational needs.

Relationship Management & Stewardship

• Manage key corporate relationships to ensure engagement and long-term support.

• Oversee delivery of partnership commitments, reporting, and recognition.

• Implement stewardship plans including communications, impact reporting, and engagement events.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with leadership, trustees, and country teams to align partnerships with priorities.

• Work with programme, communications, and fundraising teams to integrate opportunities.

• Champion corporate partnerships internally, building organisational capability.

Governance, Reporting & Learning

• Set and monitor KPIs for partnership performance and impact.

• Report to leadership and Board on pipeline, outcomes, and strategy.

• Ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and regulations.

• Promote continuous learning and best practice in corporate engagement.

Representation & Advocacy

• Represent the organisation at international forums and stakeholder meetings.

• Advocate for private sector engagement in sustainable development.

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• 10+ years’ experience in corporate partnerships or business development, including 5+ years in senior roles.

• Proven success managing high-value, complex partnerships with corporates or foundations.

• Strong experience negotiating agreements involving technical support or capacity building.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.

• Strong strategic and commercial thinking.

• Outstanding communication and proposal-writing ability.

• Collaborative, cross-cultural, and globally minded.
