ABOUT THE ROLE
Team: Delivery/ Infrastructure
As the Senior Engineer, you will lead the production and technical review of project and programme outputs.
You will manage typical projects and low risk programmes. Your work will make a strong contribution to the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s vision by delivering high impact and innovative solutions.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including designers, engineers, technicians, and other technical specialists.
Your role is to support the successful delivery of projects and programmes that align with the Trust’s strategic priorities.

Team: Delivery/ Infrastructure
As a Graduate Engineer, you will help produce technical work by using your developing skills and knowledge. You will work with periodic supervision, within a personalised graduate programme which will support you as you grow your expertise. This includes structured mentoring on the path to ICE chartership. Your work will contribute to delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions that support the mission of the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team including designers, engineers, technicians and other technical specialists. Together, you will help deliver projects and programmes that support the Trust’s strategic priorities.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Audio-Visual Production Engineer with good organisational skills to help facilitate production in the growing ministries at Holy Trinity Cambridge, working with and reporting to the Senior Worship Pastor.
HT is a vibrant, evangelical, charismatic Anglican church, with a large and growing church family of all ages and stages. We are situated right at the centre of the city and perfectly placed to reach students and adults alike. We also sense that God is leading us into a new season of being a church for the city and our so heart is to further develop as a discipleship and leadership training hub, to serve and reach our city more, and, in years to come, to explore planting and partnering further afield.
This is primarily an audio- and team-focused job, but you will be working alongside the Worship Team and other HT ministries to deliver the audio-visual production (including live stream) aspect of the HT worship ministry. In addition to our Sunday services, you’ll deliver AV production for a wide range of events, both inside and outside the church buildings, including weddings and funerals, as well as kids, youth, student, Easter, and Christmas events. Alongside audio set up and mixing bands and voices for the best quality sound possible, both in the room and online, we will draw on your skills to train up and develop volunteers to help deliver these services and events, as well as build systems on our audio equipment that ensure sound is consistent with volunteer operation of audio equipment.
Interviews will be held for all short-listed candidates, most likely on Tuesday 5 May 2026. All candidates will be informed whether their application has been successful.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
User Support (1st & 2nd Line)
• Provide support via helpdesk, email, phone and in-person.
• Troubleshoot issues with Windows devices, peripherals and business applications.
• Support staff using Microsoft 365 Apps including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Assist onsite and remote users with secure access to systems and services.
• Configure laptops, desktops and mobile devices (iOS & Android).
• Troubleshoot user phone issues
Systems Administration
• Assist administration of Microsoft Windows Servers in a domain environment, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra-based AAD, and Intune.
• Support identity and access management including users, groups and permissions.
• Help maintain virtualised infrastructure (e.g. Hyper-V).
• Perform routine maintenance including updates, patching and monitoring.
Cloud Services & Microsoft 365
• Support Microsoft 365 services and administration.
• Assist with user provisioning, licensing and permissions.
• Support security controls and endpoint management.
Networking & Infrastructure
• Assist with network troubleshooting and device connectivity.
• Support switches, Wi-Fi infrastructure and basic firewall configuration.
• Contribute to infrastructure upgrades and improvements.
• Manage and monitor Backup systems
Web & Payment Systems
• Provide basic support for WordPress websites and hosting environments.
• Assist with troubleshooting online payment systems and liaising with providers.
• Support continuity of online services.
General IT Operations
• Maintain documentation, procedures and IT asset inventories.

• Assist with IT projects, upgrades and rollouts.

Data Management & Security
• Understanding of the Principle of Least Privilege and applying minimum access required.

• Awareness of the protection and handling of personally identifiable data (PII).
• Managing and monitoring the organisation’s anti‑virus and anti‑malware solutions.

• Responding to alerts, quarantined items, and potential security incidents.
• Assisting with threat prevention measures, including application updates, secure configuration, and vulnerability mitigation.

Work Experience
• Significant proven experience in an IT support environment.
• Experience supporting Windows desktop environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 Apps.

• Experience within a charity or membership organisation (desirable).

Qualifications & Professional Development
