Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.
CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Overall job purpose
In recent years, CCT has experienced great success in applying to grant funders, including Trust and Foundations, Landfill Communities Fund, and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
CCT’s 2025 -30 strategy focuses on delivering conservation projects across our estate and securing income from grant funders will be crucial. We will also work with local communities to address smaller conservation projects via the Community Initiative Framework.
The Grants Officer will research and identify relevant funding opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and submit applications for project funding to meet fundraising targets during an exciting period of growth.
There will be requirement for occasional travel for project visits and team meetings.

About the role
As a Children’s Residential Worker, you will directly look after children and young people who have complex emotional and mental health needs due to trauma, loss and other adverse experiences.
You will be required to support children to regulate and understand their emotions. Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old on admission to the Children’s Home).
You will have a key role in making sure our children are safe and happy. You will also be required to work collaboratively with key professionals to ensure that information is recorded and shared appropriately, as well as to enable children to receive the multi-agency support that they require.
If applying for the Day position, you will be required to do sleep-ins paid at £50 each.

About the role:
The British Museum is embarking on one of the most significant cultural redevelopment projects undertaken anywhere in the world. The Philanthropy Team, as a key function of Development, will play a vital role in enabling the Museum's vision for the future. The Philanthropy Officer: Grants role will be responsible for managing relationships with and securing income from primarily trusts and foundations in support of the Museum's agreed priorities.
Key areas of responsibility:
- To raise funds for Museum priorities in line with agreed annual income targets, managing your own prospect pipeline, with mentoring and support from the Philanthropy Manager.

Who are we looking for?

You will have highly developed communication skills—verbal and written, including the ability to draft persuasive policy documents and represent the organisation in high-level forums. The Role
To provide efficient, focused and professional customer service and administration support for FareShare Midlands. In addition, this role will be a key member of the regional centre team working closely with the Regional Operations Manager, other departments such as operations, development, fundraising and marketing in order to raise the charity’s profile and attract support. You will work towards, and achieve, best-in-class warehouse & food co-ordination as part of the warehouse and operations team in Fareshare Midlands. As a team you will ensure that food is allocated in a safe, timely and accurate way to optimise the service provided from your depot to our community.

Key Responsibilities
- Contacting and liaising with members as appropriate in relation to food orders and processing using online stock system
- Manage the allocations process to ensure all allocations are completed accurately and timely … working with the Regional Ops manager and Warehouse Manager to ensure sufficient trained resource is available to complete allocation
- Adjusting existing membership - weights / frequency / day changes / fulfilments. To do this you will:
- Understand how memberships and charging structures work

Waking Night Behavioural Specialist Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
Hemel Hempstead Supported Living Service will be a new home for one customer with learning disabilities and Autism, and we are looking to build a staff team with an excellent value base to support the customer to build their new life and develop their skills as an independent person.
10 hour night shifts.

What you'll do:
Building a supportive, trusting relationship with the customer and creating a positive atmosphere;
Supporting the customer in their preferred night time routine, including personal care and promoting good sleep hygiene;
Supporting the customer to undertake activities in line with their preferences;
Ensuring the customer's safety and wellbeing at night, providing emotional and practical support and reassurance as needed;
Using positive behavioural support and Autism-specific approaches to manage any distress during night time hours;
Working proactively with other members of the team to meet the needs of the customer and handle administrative responsibilities;
Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals;
Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with the customer within an attitude of 'positive risk taking';
Ensuring appropriate handovers between shifts and documenting night time activity, including any incidents;

About the role:
This role can be based at either of our VS offices; Stoke-on-Trent or Stafford.
As a Volunteer Manager you will be:
- Recruiting and retaining a team of community and professional/workplace volunteers to support various victim services pan Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent
- Completing the induction and accreditation process with volunteers; across the variety of volunteering roles available
- Ensuring volunteers deliver effective support to victims and witness of crime and major incidents; in liaison with Team Leaders who will direct case manage
- Responsible for auditing volunteer activity against set quality standards - and dealing with any matters arising
- Rewarding and recognising the volunteering activity across the area
- Preparing reports for funders on volunteering activity, social value and difference they have made; including case studies and using digital platforms to raise the profile of the roles and their contributions made (internally and externally)
You will need:
- Proven track record of effective management, coaching and mentoring skills
- Proven track record of successfully working directly within voluntary setting
- Effective communication skills; written, verbal and numerical.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, sharing, coaching others.
