Job purpose
· Forward-plan funding streams to ensure a smooth and regular flow of income that meets The Avenues’ budget (currently £1.2m p.a., much of which has been secured for the next 18 months).
· Develop existing and new relationships with funders to maximise immediate and long-term income for the organisation and its various projects.
· Write compelling proposals and applications that secure significant income from trusts and foundations, coordinating input from across The Avenues team.
· Research and identify new prospects from a diversity of sources with a view to securing medium and large grants for The Avenues.
Accountabilities and responsibilities
· Identify and develop opportunities from a range of trusts, foundations and grant-making bodies.
· Draft, submit and manage the progress of all funding applications for The Avenues’ priority projects (approximately 30-40 applications per year).
· Develop fundraising proposal budgets in collaboration with Programme and Finance colleagues, ensuring needs are accurately costed and aligned with donor requirements.
· Work with colleagues to develop new project ideas that fit within The Avenues’ organisational goals and within budgets that meet funders’ criteria.
· Handle the post-grant paperwork, notifying the team and updating our records.
· Develop and manage positive relationships with funders, including necessary communications with grants officers, potential major donors, corporate donors and community supporters.
· Manage the pipeline of applications and fundraising database; providing financial reporting and other management information to colleagues on a timely basis.
· Work with the Chief Executive, trustees and community volunteers to help organise our fundraising events (dinner-auction, party, quiz night, marathon). Assisting with the smooth-running of these events, including writing and producing communication materials.
· Write the quarterly email newsletter for our supporter mailing list.
· Manage and optimise the charity’s CRM system (Beacon), ensuring fundraising contact data is accurate, well maintained, and used effectively.
· Perform other duties as required by the Chief Executive to the overall direction and running of the charity and develop productive relationships with external stakeholders.
Experience and skills
· Excellent writing skills with the ability to write concise and creative bids.
· 3+ years’ proven track record in a fundraising position, with a focus on trusts/foundations and public sector income streams. (Or, you may equally have experience in sales and marketing in a commercial environment.)
· Skilled at budgeting and presenting financial information in easy-to-understand formats.
· Relationship builder and collaborative worker.
· A creative and proactive approach to problem-solving
· High standard of software literacy (Office software, Mailchimp and internet).
· Highly effective verbal communicator, able to build rapport quickly and engage a wide range of stakeholders with confidence and credibility.

The Purpose of the Role

As the Program Advocacy and Engagement Director, you serve as a strategic leader shaping IRC’s global influence across crisis response contexts, guiding advocacy efforts that are integral to advancing IRC’s mission. You are responsible for strengthening our advocacy strategies and practice, providing strategic oversight, coordination and strategy building across national, regional and multilateral advocacy efforts. You will work with regionally based teams and collaborate with senior regional and country leaders, technical experts, and global counterparts to optimize IRC’s advocacy reach, advocate for systems change policies and impacts and ensure coherence. Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:
• Graduate degree or equivalent experience in relevant field such as Public Policy, International Development, Politics, Economics, Law or International Relations **
• Demonstrable track record of leading advocacy strategies that generated tangible policy change, ideally in more than one context. **
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, being oriented towards solution development when traditional advocacy means do not suffice and especially in fluid and politically sensitive environments, exercising sound judgment under pressure.**

MSF UK is looking for a highly organised and proactive Fundraising Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery of our Face-to-Face fundraising programme across Scotland and England.
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Job Purpose:
The Face to Face Fundraising Logistics Coordinator (FFLC) supports the delivery of MSF UK’s F2F Campaign by coordinating logistics for the Festivals and Events programme and providing dedicated logistical support to the separate Private Sites Campaign.
Reporting to the Face to Face Fundraising Festivals and Events Manager (FFFEM), the role coordinates logistical planning for Festivals and Events, including supplier liaison, bookings, equipment movements, stock control and compliance administration. The FFLC is also responsible for managing Private Sites bookings (excluding Scotland) and works closely with the Face to Face Private Sites Manager (FFPSM) to ensure the timely booking and smooth operational delivery of the Private Sites Campaign.
The role supports liaison with festival and event organisers, venues and suppliers to ensure logistical requirements such as access, deliveries, equipment and scheduling are prepared in advance and delivered effectively. The FFLC coordinates the F2F stock across Festivals, Events and Private Sites and is accountable for the effective use of a delegated Private Sites and stock budgets, ensuring expenditure is monitored, recorded and aligned with agreed forecasts.
Working with the FFFEM, FFPSM and the F2F Safeguarding Lead, the role ensures logistical, health & safety and safeguarding requirements are prepared ahead of activity, with all documentation completed and recorded. To ensure the continuation of our programmes during times of staff absence, we are now seeking to recruit a Prison Facilitator/Library Assistant on a bank working basis to work across the Bristol region (HMP Leyhill, HMP Ashfield, HMP Eastwood Park and HMP Bristol). Working closely with prisons and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will support with the delivery and development of our literacy and numeracy programme in the area, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
You will have experience working within prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships quickly and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. You will also have a willingness to travel, sometimes at short notice, to provide short or long term cover within the prisons in this area.
This role will be prison-based. This is a bank role and so the number of days to be worked will vary and are not guaranteed. About the Role
We are currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Support Officer to join our growing fundraising team. 2025 was our best year yet for income and this role is pivotal in helping us to take the next step in further growing our income.
This new role will play a key part in delivering funding from Trusts, Foundations and other funders across the UK, supporting the Senior Trust Fundraising Officer to maximise our income. You will be responsible for making small-scale grant applications, and for growing our grants portfolio through identifying new funding opportunities.
There will be a range of projects to work on, providing vital support to ensure that we are increasing the number of warm funders who regularly support the charity.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build up a strong pipeline of prospective funders by researching trusts that align with Epilepsy Action’s vision and strategy

- Ensure timely thanking, updates and reporting for all grants and donations from our rolling programme of applications
- Use data in the CRM to analyse trends and identify opportunities
At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. Job Summary
The Philanthropy Manager will develop a philanthropy strategy, building on the partnerships and resources already in place. The Children’s Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) is an independent philanthropic organisation, working with a range of partners to transform the lives of children and adolescents. CIFF’s portfolio focuses on child health and development, climate change, sexual and reproductive health and rights, girl capital and child protection. CIFF has been partnering with MSI since 2015 to boost sexual and reproductive health and rights globally. The Challenge Fund Programme (2024-2028) is a $100m programme with global and bilateral investments from CIFF to advance sexual and reproductive health services and increase modern contraceptive prevalence in six countries across West and Central Africa.
MSI seeks a Global Programmes and Philanthropy (GPP) Adviser to support the implementation of the CIFF Challenge Fund Programme. Working in the Challenge Fund programme team and directly reporting to Head of Challenge Fund, the GPP Adviser will provide programme management and administrative support to the Head of and two Programme Managers across the Challenge Fund Programme to ensure timely and quality delivery of deliverables against donor reporting obligations and close budget monitoring. In addition, this role will play a key role in the coordination of overarching internal ways of working, including the organisation of external donor engagement meetings and events. Philanthropy Manager

Purpose of the role
We are looking for a passionate and strategic Philanthropy Manager to help drive our mission to restore wildlife and create a world where wildlife thrives. This role is focused on raising vital funds from individuals to support ZSL’s global ambition. You will lead on engaging new and cultivating existing supporters, securing high-value and major gifts. As part of your stewardship and cultivation work, you will build deep, lasting relationships and grow a sustainable income stream that powers our global impact.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of spending two days a week in the office at a minimum, alongside attending occasional off-site meetings with donors and stakeholders. As with many major gift roles, there may be some evening or weekend work to support events, donor visits, or special experiences.
Key responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy: Contribute to strategic planning to ensure a coordinated and donor-centric approach that maximises philanthropic support, in collaboration with the Head of Philanthropy.
Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: To manage and grow a personal portfolio of high-value and major donors, securing income from high-value and major gifts.
Prospect Research: Identifying and researching potential donors who align with the organisation's mission and goals, with support from the Prospect Researcher.
Proposal Writing and Donor Reporting: Craft compelling and personalised proposals and presentations to secure funding, and work closely with the wider fundraising and project delivery teams to produce high quality reports.
Event Management: Support the organisation and delivery of events to cultivate relationships with donors and prospects.
Financial accountability: Keep accurate records and handle accompanying gift administration and recognition.
About you
- Experienced fundraising and donor development professional within the charity or cultural sectors, with a proven track record of securing five- and six-figure gifts from individuals, trusts, foundations, and institutional partners.
- Confident in developing compelling proposals and presentations that engage and inspire individual philanthropists.
- Experience working with fundraising databases and donor management systems.
- A proven track record in working with senior volunteers in a fundraising context.
- Knowledge of fundraising best practices and ethical considerations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills.

You will lead the full participant recruitment journey, from initial enquiry through to onboarding, ensuring a thoughtful, high-quality experience for every prospective participant.
