Role Summary

CEC’s marketing team is at the forefront of showcasing the company’s work across multiple audiences involved with our mission. You will help lead our campaigns, including the Let’s Make it Work campaign, to drive the Government’s national work experience guarantee for all young people and be part of our creative efforts to amplify opportunity for educators and employers to connect and deliver high-quality careers education.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of our marketing and audience engagement activity ensuring workflows run smoothly, stakeholders are supported effectively, and marketing outputs meet agreed standards.

You’ll report directly to the Marketing & Audience Engagement Lead, with close interaction with our Strategic Communications, and as part of a high-functioning Strategy & Communications division. This role supports senior leadership on strategy and planning, while strengthening delivery pace, consistency and quality across External Affairs.

Working with the Director of Research, this role will have management of the clinical development process at Cure Parkinson’s. The charity supports a large treatment selection process that feeds new clinical trials seeking disease modification. This is an exciting time in Parkinson’s research and there is the opportunity to have a really meaningful impact by joining the Cure Parkinson’s team as we expand our funding schemes and initiate new ventures.

As our Clinical Research Manager, you will have a PhD in life sciences (an MD or MBSS would advantageous) and significant experience in clinical trial development. You must have a strong understanding of Parkinson’s, the biology associated with the condition, and the agents currently in development. You will require excellent organisational and communication skills as you will be representing the charity via stakeholder engagement. About the role

As the Grants Coordinator, you will work closely with the Team and Grants Coordinator to provide essential underpinning support for all aspects of the team's work, to ensure the effective delivery and recording of ABCT's grant-making programmes.

Key responsibilities

Grants Administration: Manage all aspects of the grants cycle, including applications, payments, reporting, and enquiries, while maintaining accurate records on Salesforce and liaising with suppliers and the Finance team.

Database and website management: Maintain and enhance Salesforce grant management processes, ensure accurate data for reporting, and keep the Trust's website updated and effective.

Office and team administration: Provide efficient administrative support for the team and board, including diary and travel management, process documentation, GDPR compliance, and assistance with projects and events.

About you

ABCT has a small team, and you will need to be a team player who can work collaboratively and flexibly, and contribute to a positive and friendly team culture. You will need to genuinely enjoy administration, be interested in ABCT's priority areas. We are seeking a proactive Senior Peer Support Coordinator to lead on the provision of a high-quality peer support volunteer programme for over 50 volunteers. This role is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer life cycle, from marketing and recruitment, delivery of induction training on perinatal mental health and psychoeducational tools used within Mindful Mums, through to reflective supervision, delivering our CPD programme and finding the right role for each volunteer within the service. 

You will work alongside Senior Project Coordinators and the Service Manager to ensure we deliver on our targets, supporting with programming our wellbeing groups and one-to-one befriending. You will be a skilled people manager and effective communicator, responsible for the line management of staff and ensuring the service is represented at stakeholder and partner community events. You will be a confident facilitator, as some group delivery will be expected.

Like us, you will be passionate and knowledgeable about the role of peer support within recovery-focused perinatal mental health and the NHS Competence Framework for Mental Health Peer Support Workers. You will be experienced in supporting volunteers, providing supervision and acting as a mentor in their professional development. You will be highly organised with experience of project management in a target-driven environment.  An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and highly organised is essential for this role.

• Collating, storing and manipulating data and information in the creation of graphs, tables, reports etc. to aid accessibility and understanding and to support decision-making within the team or with other stakeholders.

The role and its impact

As Centre Operations Manager, you will be the organisation’s senior operational lead on the ground. The Trusts and Foundations Coordinator is an integral part of the Philanthropy team, responsible for managing a large portfolio of Trust and Foundation (T&F) supporters. The Trusts and Foundations Coordinator provides excellent relationship management, creating first-class donor journeys for their portfolio based on donors’ individual motivations and interests. They will ensure stewardship plans are in place for their top tier of T&F donors, and that they meet any specific proposal/reporting requirements for the donors they manage.

We are looking for an experienced, people-oriented project manager who is excited to help us deliver and scale innovative data programmes. You will work directly with organisations from across the third sector to understand their missions and translate their challenges into well-scoped projects. You will also support teams of volunteer data experts to scope projects and deliver impactful data science solutions.

You don't need to write code or run analysis yourself, but you should be comfortable working alongside technical experts, asking the right questions to scope data projects, and translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll need to hold conversations with data scientists about what's feasible, help charity partners understand what's possible with their data, and know when to bring in additional technical expertise.

Essential skills and experience

• Project management: You are a skilled project manager, successfully leading projects involving multiple stakeholders from conception to completion. Working hours and location 

This is a full-time role (35 hours per week); however we will consider part-time options (28 or 32 hours per week) for a strong candidate. Working hours are flexible, but we ask that 75% of working time is within the hours of 10am and 6pm, to facilitate team working and real-time collaboration.

The role requires regular out-of-hours commitments - roughly one weekend per quarter and 2-4 evenings per month for volunteer events. This work is part of, rather than additional to, your hours, and you must take time off in lieu for any extra working hours.

Our organisation is remote-first, and this role is hybrid, with access to London office space on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and quarterly in-person commitments in London. We have a preference for candidates able to work from our office space in London at least one day per week. There may be occasional national travel within the UK for other events and conferences, with reasonable expenses covered.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and methodical Facilities Management Operations Analyst (CAFM & Ops) known internally as CAFM and Ops Performance Analyst, to join us here at the Francis Crick Institute.

This role will be a key part of the facilities team whose objective is to ensure that scientific research does not get disrupted due to building operational matters.

You will play a key role overseeing asset management and maintenance scheduling through our CAFM system (Planon), keeping operations efficient and uninterrupted.

You’ll use the CAFM system to monitor performance, produce KPI dashboards, and drive process improvements and system upgrades.

This is a pivotal role where your work will safeguard and strengthen the environment that enables ground breaking discoveries.

What you will be doing

At the Crick, you will:

• Be an operational owner and system administrator for the Crick’s CAFM system (Planon)
• Provide Management information to Department Heads and Service Leads, extract and manipulate data from the building systems, develop and build reports in line with user bespoke requirements using available IT tools. Develop and measure KPIs across building services functions, create dashboards to enable clear communication and monitoring of performance trends, ensuring relevant statutory and regulatory compliance is captured.
• Maintain the Planon system to ensure the Crick CAFM system remains at optimal performance and is fully supported.
• Identify, develop and manage continual improvements (including system version upgrades) to the CAFM system
• Support site audits of building and science equipment to ensure all recorded asset data is current and accurate.
