Overview
At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Fundraising
· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements
· Provide support to the Senior P&P Manager in activities relating to OSUK’s global corporate partners through managing employee-led activities across the portfolio.
· To manage and develop new initiatives for employee engagement and community participants
· Support on new business acquisition, specifically in creating new avenues for income generation through existing partnerships.
· Responsible for managing inbound enquiries relating to corporate partnerships
· Lead on producing corporate-related social media and communications content
· Maintain orderly upkeep of all relevant records and databases
Community Fundraising
· Lead on the handling of all inbound community fundraising correspondence, including donations received, merchandise and speaking requests
· Develop a strong understanding of fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse, maintaining their upkeep and reconciliation with Operation Smile's financial and reporting systems
Additional Responsibilities
· Expand your understanding of Operation Smile’s programmatic work globally, of cleft lip and palate conditions, health system strengthening and the global surgery sector
· Support other areas of the Partnership Team’s work, including events.

What the job involves
We’re looking for someone to join our in-house Film and Photography team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of video projects, working with a friendly, supportive, and talented creative team.
You’ll focus on editing a wide range of content, from event promotions and social media clips to documentaries and campaign films. Beyond editing, you'll also be an integral part of our shoots, helping with everything from monitoring camera feeds to assisting with basic production duties and managing equipment. You'll also play a crucial role in keeping our team's processes and systems running smoothly, including assisting with administration and managing our Digital Asset Library.
You'll have the chance to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to bring incredible stories to life, so strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit are essential.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Video Content Editor who is confident using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit video content and have experience in colour grading and audio restoration. You’ll have a good understanding of creating content for different channels, especially social media formats, and be organised, reliable, and happy to pitch in across editing, shoots, and administrative tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organisation are essential, as is a good eye for detail and the ability to follow brand guidelines. Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a small, busy creative team are also key, as is being a self-starter who's happy to take initiative and hit the ground running.
It would be great if you also have experience shooting film and/or photography, particularly at small events, knowledge of social media video formats and optimisation, and basic motion graphics or animation skills using Adobe After Effects.

You must be bilingual Spanish and English speaker to apply for this role.
This is an important role in a small communications team where you will help raise our international organisation’ s global profile across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
This fully remote contracting role is perfect for someone with some communications experience and a keen interest in supporting countries across the world to build better public infrastructure through open governance principles (accountability, transparency, participation, multi stakeholder working).
As the only Spanish speaking member of the communications team, you will lead on social media and news stories across Latin America and therefore fluent Spanish and English (both written and spoken) are essential, in addition knowledge of the Latin America region would be useful.
This is a fully remote consultancy role. You will not be paid on an hourly/daily basis but instead paid a fixed amount (as set out above) each month for completing agreed deliverables with your line manager. As a rough guide, we expect this will take around 18-20 hours a week. We are open to you working the hours in a way that works for your life-work balance and delivers our business needs, subject to being available for key meetings/deliverables during the week and in agreement with your line manager. Whilst this role is initially for 6 months, there is potential for this to extend or develop into a longer-term role.
Key responsibilities:
Drafting content (60%):
- researching and drafting news articles in English;
- creating ideas for, and drafting of, social media in both English and Spanish;

- using Canva and other software;

Regular communications admin tasks (40%):
- uploading and updating website content;

- supporting the website project manager with ad-hoc tasks in the development of a new website;
- supporting with tracking website and social media analytics and using them to inform future content generation;
- other communications-related activities as required to deliver the CoST Advocacy & Communications strategy.
Essential experience and attributes:
- Both Spanish and English fluency in speaking and writing (this will be tested at interview)
- Experience with delivering written and visual communications in a variety of mediums.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

We are looking for a Legacy Marketing Manager to join our Fundraising team.
Title: Legacy Marketing Manager
Salary: £43,260 - £46,350 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London (2 days per week on-site)
Job Summary
As a key role within the Fundraising Division, the Legacy Marketing Manager will work to achieve the essential long-term legacy income that helps Anthony Nolan to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
You will do this by shaping and implementing our legacy marketing plans to achieve our long-term income goals. You will develop an audience-centric and insight-driven legacy marketing programme to attract and steward potential legators. You will also have line management responsibility and oversee our legacy administration work.
Key responsibilities
These include but are not limited to:
- Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.
- Plan, develop and implement high impact, audience-centric legacy marketing campaigns to attract new legacy pledgers, considerers and enquirers. This includes activity across a range of channels from social media, digital, telemarketing, direct mail and events.
- Develop and implement compelling supporter journeys to effectively steward potential legators.
- Ensure that all legacy marketing campaigns are managed efficiently and effectively.
- Track, report and benchmark results to inform decision making for future activity.
- Overall management of our annual legacy income; management of our legacy administration, including overseeing the external legacy admin support.
- Build and maintain sustainable, constructive relationships with the team, colleagues and key external suppliers.
- Provide internal resources for learning about legacies, to aid awareness.
- Collaborate to ensure integrated planning for legacy marketing with the wider teams: Individual Giving, other fundraising teams, the register team, marketing and content along with other colleagues to identify sustainable ways to deliver our Fundraising strategic plan.
Essential attributes:
- Experience of creating and managing large scale, multi-channel, audience-centric and insight-led response-driving fundraising or marketing campaigns
- Demonstrable track record of achieving legacy fundraising success through integrated communications to individual supporters, with experience of effective supporter stewardship to drive loyalty
- A track record of developing and meeting targets within budget
- A working understanding of legacies and the legacy administration process and experience of working with solicitors and online will writing partners.
- Experience of producing financial analysis to improve lifetime value, including detailed income and expenditure budgets and reforecasts
- Experience of line management and coaching to achieve agreed goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and project management skills
- Confident use of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Excel and First Class.
- Ability to understand, interpret and review plans based on complex information and situations

About You
We are seeking someone with:
- Relevant experience of event planning and production.
- Proven track record of end-to-end production of high-quality events across multiple formats (live, filmed, hybrid).
- Experience of high-profile speaker and stakeholder management, with strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills.
- Experience of technical coordination, including briefing and working with AV teams and livestream/filming partners.
- Experience writing accurate and compelling copy for a range of audiences and platforms.
About the Role
As an Events Producer you will:
- Collaborate with Head of Events Programming to deliver impactful, theme-based events.
- Source, invite, and brief a diverse range of speakers.
- Continuously scout for new voices and innovative social change practices.
- Manage end-to-end event production: ideas, scripts, logistics, and hosting.
- Coordinate logistics and team support to ensure smooth event delivery.
- Independently lead and manage event series, including content and stakeholder engagement.
