The Evaluation Director is a new role and will lead the development and implementation of Young Sounds’ evaluation strategy, ensuring that our work is evidence-based and impactful.

Money Ready envision a financially fluent population. We teach practical money management skills through impactful financial education programmes - from budgeting and saving to investing. 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager, who  will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of the organisation. Able to manage the day-to-day financial analysis and reporting requirements for Money Ready, and provide input for strategic financial planning. Using a business partnering model, ensure all budget holders are fully supported in their roles. Responsible for the delivery of all management accounts, budget, forecasts and donor reporting as well as the annual statutory accounts. Ensure all income and expenditure is accounted for in a timely and efficient manner. Helps deliver Money Ready’s strategic objectives, identifies the key financial risks and develops the internal controls environment.

The Senior Finance Manager will be a member of the SMT. This role will lead or contribute to the implementation of new financial systems, tools, or procedures that improve efficiency, compliance, and transparency.

Working across Money Ready

You will work with colleagues across the country as we continue to develop and grow the organisation. Contribute to areas of the organisation that are ‘outside’ your immediate focus acting as trusted counsel to those in roles or teams that are different to yours. Embed yourself into the organisation – recognising that our strategy and business plan are yours to deliver and that our culture is shaped with you and by you. Key Responsibilities

• Ensures the timely and accurate production of all management and annual accounts and all forecasts in accordance with best practise and statutory requirements.
• A key business partner who provides value added business support and financial insight to the SMT and colleagues throughout the Charity.
• Provides financial insight to development team to assist with fundraising bids, prepare donor budgets, and ensure donor reporting and compliance throughout the grant life cycle.
• Responsible for delivery of all statutory and regulatory compliance, including statutory accounts, certification officer returns, Charities Commission, VAT and all payroll taxes.
• Responsible for fortnightly payment runs processing. Supervise and assist with the sale invoices processing and regular credit control. Monthly reconciliation of all Money Ready’s bank accounts.
• Responsible for monthly payroll including monthly and annual RTI reporting to HMRC, pensions payments, annual payroll processing and relevant reconciliations.
• Work with auditors on preparing the audit strategy and manage annual audit process, providing all the relevant paperwork during the audit process.
• Be a positive change champion for the organisation, identifying key impact areas and priorities and supporting change programmes and strategies in both finance and across the Union as a whole.
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns with reconciliations and reporting. Line management, objective setting and performance reviews for direct report.
• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls environment that is fit for purpose but uses a risk-based approach to the establishment of processes and procedures.

Personal Specification

• You will need to show;
• Experience Substantial experience in a finance or accounting role (including at management level) in a not-for profit organisation.
• Substantial experience in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year end accounts.
• Substantial experience in processing monthly payroll using QuickBooks Payroll and Sage Payroll.
• Line management experience, including objectives setting and performance reviews.
• Experience in charity accounting principles, especially with regards to grants and restricted funds.
• Demonstrable experience of business partnering with multiple, non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience of establishing financial systems including business plans and budgets.

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Finalists to be considered.

• Experience of processing VAT returns including compliance with making Tax Digital and PAYE.

The key duties of the Senior Finance Business Partner are as follows:

The successful candidate will have:

• Completed a professional accounting qualification or be part-qualified with relevant professional experience.

As the UK’s leading university access organisation,
our staff team is helping 56,000 young people each year at its 44 learning centres and extension projects across England and Scotland, and we plan to scale-up our provision to 50 centres over the coming years.

We are looking for a high-calibre candidate to take on the role of Regional Operations Manager for our centres in South London (Walworth, Kennington and Brixton) along with our centres in Southampton and Brighton.

As a Regional Operations Manager you will line manage the Centre Leaders in your region to ensure that centres are working effectively, that the high quality of programme delivery to young people is maintained across the cluster, and that targets are monitored and met. 

And of course, you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them achieve their ambitions.

This is a permanent role. This role can be either full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) - responsibilities will be adjusted proportionally for part-time candidates.

Mon and Thurs: 09:30-18:00
Tues, Weds, Fri: 09:00-17:30

We are a delivery organisation providing frontline educational services for young people. We are an organisation with team members at different stages of their career, including many in their first roles: We are committed to nurturing talent and providing a developmental culture for all. Our team works in-person 4 days per week (or 3 days for a 0.8 FTE staff member) with 1 day working from home.

Location

The role would be based at one of our centres in the South London and South Coast cluster:
South London: Walworth, Kennington, Brixton  
South coast: Southampton, Brighton 

Regular travel to all centres in the region will be required.

About this role

As a Team Lead, your responsibilities would include:

• Leading a small team of Carer Support Advisers across Haringey and Waltham Forest

• Providing day-to-day support, motivation and management to ensure high-quality delivery

• Managing a caseload of more complex carer cases, delivering direct support and statutory assessments

• Supporting quality assurance, performance monitoring, and safeguarding responsibilities

• Working in partnership with local organisations to raise awareness of carers and improve services

• Supporting the Service Manager with planning, reporting and contributing to service development

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Experience of leading or supervising a team, ideally in health, social care or voluntary sector settings

• Strong understanding of carers’ needs, and confidence delivering assessments and personalised support

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with carers, colleagues and partners

• Confidence using digital tools including case management systems and Microsoft Office

• A passion for working in a values-led organisation and making a difference in people’s lives

We're looking for someone with 1-2 years of workplace experience who brings a positive attitude, strong organisational and administrative skills and the ability to pursue tasks logically and independently. You'll need an analytical mindset, excellent written communication, plus a genuine commitment to creating fairer chances in tech.
 
No previous non-profit experience is required, as the role is an opportunity to learn about the foundation sector - but the role could suit someone who has supported outreach, widening participation, charity or volunteering initiatives, or has an interest in supporting underrepresented groups to succeed in education and employment.

Learning Support Assistants support PiP’s Development Workers to deliver a flexible programme of learning and development opportunities; ensuring that students can actively participate and engage in sessions, giving student’s maximum opportunity to learn and develop. 

PiP’s programmes focus on four learning pathways:

- Independent Living Skills

- Creative and Performing Arts

- Health, Wellbeing and Happiness

- Employment and Vocational Skills

The role incorporates session delivery, recording and monitoring student progress, key working responsibilities such as liaising with student’s support networks and involvement in PiP’s wider work.
